Experimenting on ants is ok. Its for the good of science. Thats it. Ive done sone experiments in the past. Like.... broodboosting myrmica queens with tetramorium caespitum brood. And they accepted it! I also broodboosted t. Bicarinatum by the t. Caespitum brood in the process, and they accepted it too!

I just found your channel. I'm sad for saying it, but I don't like your style of talking ,it sounds swollen and made up gesture and all this is made up behavior, that it seems to me you are doing. I know you can say now :" Go away and don't watch me if you don't like me, watch someone else" yes you're right. But, I like getting honest and real feedback..so that's why I thought it would be good telling you. Maybe it makes sense to you and you want to change something. Otherwise just forget it and go on like this :). All the best for you.
Thanks the feedback! Totally understandable, to be honest I’m just documenting what my ants do. Overtime I have started taking the recording more seriously but the “me” part is just the same guy as a few years ago where I just recorded the ants.

I agree! If they have a purpose it’s the right thing. Rather this has a purpose or not I’m not sure but it sure is interesting to follow!
most ants accept ants from the same genus! for example you can definitely brood boost a camp. pennsylvanicus w/ camp. americanus brood!

Oooh hard one! I like my hercs. But ligneperda seems faster growing, bigger and a big more colourful. I’d go for the ligneperda I think 🤔🤔
