I never thought emo rap/singing was a dying genre. After all most of the popular musicians of the 2010s were influenced by the genre. Although I got to say being in the emo genre in 2020s is not looking good for upcoming artists sins mainstream people think it’s corny to be emo.
I still miss him. After all these years he was just so talented. I wish he survived the OD. But we can’t change the past as much as we wish we could sometimes
Lil peep shaped me as a person, he gave me sensitivity that i wasn't been learned in my home. He opened my eyes when i was struggle with the depression and anxiety, he showed me that even with disabilties in my head, i can be something more than just a loser without perspective. Rest up peep, a pure legend and definitely the most important artist in my entire life.
Lil Peep together with the Sound cloud emo rap movement of the late 2010s has been the last significant musical movement up to this date i dont know if there will ever be another one.
remember speaking to you when you from the turkey tom discord back in 2018 time. only clicked the video for peep then recognised your logo instantly. good to see you’re still at it man especially with videos on legends like peep. it’s wodtry if you remember that name
Hey man I remember you! Nice to see your still around. I’d love to catch up as I remember to talking to you frequently. Follow my insta or message me on discord.
I used to listen to lil peep all the time and I even dyed my hair pink and black and my older sister helped me do the tattoos on his face and stuff. He really inspired me to become emo. I listen to Not as emo rap now and I listen to things like Tyler the creator. I often go back to his amazing music but I remain wearing emo tomboy stuff, although I am one of the goofiest person to be around. I love lil peep for inspiring me to get an idea of new styles I could’ve discovered.
I hated lil peep when he was buzzing around in highschool 2016 (*Music at the time sounded like it was produced in the most disgusting bathrooms in america) He passed away 2 days before I graduated basic training 2017 (RIP) I just started listening to him 2023 because rap has fallen off the face of the earth and wow man’s was really….. REALLY ahead of his time. Cudi, XXX., Peep were true pioneers of sad emotional rap. The only song or person that I can think about that made anything emotional on the level that any of those artists ever did would be Biggie Smalls suicidal thoughts. Rest easy Gus, Live on forever LiL peep!!!!
This is a really good document, straight up lil peep keeps me going, im also trying to make music too but im getting through college trying my best to get get the degree and keep making music. But i love lil peep so much and did a good job on thus video

Peep does not get enough credit. He made being emo cool again. He put a fresh spin on a dying genre and was truly one of a kind. He was so influential

That’s awesome, also you got the same tattoos as him?
@@TechnicalDifficulties no for Halloween she used eyeliner to draw the tattoos. I definitely wouldn’t get tattoos all over my face and body personally
@@callydahl8638 haha well still that’s cool that he opened you up to new ideas of style. Thanks for watching also!
