Don't ever, ever, mess with a grieving mother. Anger is a part of our grief. I lost my 40 year old daughter July 26th 2020 unexpected, and I'm still grieving.
In English we have the word orphan for someone who lost their parents. Widow and widower for people who lose a spouse. No word for someone who loses a child because that’s not supposed to happen. Similar thing with French, Spanish, Hebrew and possibly other languages.
Sorry for your loss. I wish I could say it gets better, no, you learn to love them differently where your moments of grief are less and sweet memories mixes your tears with smiles, giggles and laughter. Warm hugs to you.
Go and take terrible pictures that will teach them a lesson. Should have stayed for the free dinner since it was already paid for by the bride and groom.
She shouldn’t have gone to her brother’s wedding when she is in mourning and her family should have postponed her brother’s wedding until she is ready. 😢
Anna's Girlfriend: I am so sorry for your daughter Sophie dying of leukemia. If we both adopt a healthy normal orphan daughter, we both feel happy we get ourselves back on track.
Can we have one story without embezzlement and/or money laundering? Also didn’t the story say two weeks later she was still wearing black but the wedding that was supposed to happen a couple of days after Sophia’s death hadn’t happened yet?
I agree. The forms of financial fraud were too much of a distraction from the story. The theft from Sophie's medical treatment account is one thing, as it shows that they potentially had a role in her death. All that unrelated stuff, though, just seems tacked on.
I wanted to agree! But no matter how all toxicities can get in every different story channels, I’d keep disliking the ones I rather hate until I find good ones for my opinions
Poor kid, the death of a child is the absolute worst death to think about ever. I am happy about the ending for Op and her dad’s divorce wise decision still sad about the kid Damn. For Op’s mom and Rebecca (the stupid sil that didn’t happen sorry if I got the names wrong or mixed up ) sentenced life in prison for the worst crime imaginable stealing from her dying child Medical Fund. I just got one question what happened to the father/ Op’s husband, he wasn’t brought up so any ideas. I think ever he passed away or they got divorced a while ago.
How did OP’s family think that this was going to play amongst regular decent human beings, can’t go to my nieces and grandchildren’s funeral because we prefer to go to a wedding.
It is a hard situation to be in but life cannot be put on hold because of grief. The longer the grief the more entitled a lot of parents become. Everyone else has to cater to their grief. And I know what I am talking about. My brother and sister in law lost their son who was a grown man and the longer they grieved the more entitled they became. Everyone around them had to cater to their plans, their wants, their wishes.
Someone's child dies and you refuse to mourn.

That's actually a good idea - but there's a very good possibility that her grief was so overwhelming that she didn't feel very hungry, anyway.
Aye
this family had a heart of ice. bet they never loved the kid😢
Most certainly sounds like it

What a terrible ungrateful family, they should be ashamed of themselves
It’s like they all WANTED to HATE Sophia (OP’s deceased daughter)…!
