I don't know who may need to hear this But, you are beautiful and whatever is keeping you up at night GIVE IT TO GOD! Lots of people love you and care about you! ❤❤❤❤
Frankly god has absolutely nothing to do with this boo, humans are such powerful creatures it's offensive to reduce all our overcomings to some abstract 'higher powers'. Bible is literally homophobic and sexist and yet you wanna bring your hateful 'god' into a cozy space like this, yikes.
Same, it’s always fascinated me. Seeing how little people repurpose the everyday objects of the larger people is really neat and leads to a lot of creativity!
I am absolutely enchanted by the "Pocket Family." My childhood was full of imaginary people and families. I would read a book, then draw the families and cut out as paper dolls. Oh the adventures they had. I sincerely hope the Pockets have more wonderful adventures. My mind is whirling with possibilities. Love your stories. I find them a wonderful, relaxing and calming way to go to sleep.
Your childhood sounds a lot like mine. My imagination took me to so many places while I was growing up, and I made my own fun every way that I could. I used to save all the cardboard from my father’s folded shirts after they’d come back from the cleaners so I could make furniture and staircases, and shoe boxes made the most wonderful houses for all that furniture my little families enjoyed. What full childhoods we had, I’d say! Cheers ~
Stories about tiny people always reminds me of the book, The Borrower which inspired Hayao Miyazaki's The Secret World of Arriety. One of my favorites. 📖♥️
I watched The Borrowers when I was a kid. I gave Arriety a watch when I was much older. Arriety gave me part of my childhood back to the present me. I guess nostalgia isn't the closest feeling to our childhood we can get.
I Love the knowing that there are other people outside the world, who listen to the exact same story as I, maybe for comfort, even if I don't know You. It comforts me in a good way. It's a little less lonely then. =D Thank You very much. I drifted away while hearing this. 💃🐞🌈
I vote for there to be a Pocket family/Tiny family series. This story 😊and The Giant Garden makes my inner child so happy and puts my adult self at peace. I absolutely adore these little people. Get Sleepy is the best channel on UA-cam, period. 💯😌😴✨🩵
Currently, my absolute favorite. Everything from their own self-discoveries to details around the house. Gives me smiles as I drift off & re-listen to this Get Sleepy... Thank you Thomas 😔
It would be fun to have a Tiny Family prequel. That way we could find out how they came to be, how old they are, how they came to live in this house, the various humans who have lived in the house, how Ma and Pa met, and so many other interesting things about them. This is one of my favorites and I love Simon's narration. 😊
I've been listening to this for over 2 weeks and still have not heard more than five minutes of the story because it will put you directly to sleep. I've never seen anything like it. 😂🥰
I don't know why this ended up in my feed last night, but it sure did work! Less than 15 minutes in, and I was falling asleep. There's something relaxing about this man's voice. I usually have great difficulty getting to sleep, but this helped.
The comments under these kinds of super calming videos are always so positive and grateful, some people talk about their hard times but always with hope, it's so nice to read positive thoughts, you don't see that often on the internet
I’m always looking for new sleepy-time stories as I wake up every night around 3-4 am and often can’t turn my mind off and go back to sleep. This dreamy story popped up in my feed last weekend and it’s been a game changer! I turn it on and the next thing I know my alarm to wake up is going off. All I can remember is the image of the tiny family curled up asleep in the windowsill and then something about them climbing up a little rope into a cupboard… This last week has been truly wonderful as I wake feeling refreshed and happy. Thank you for giving me this!
Thanks for the kind words Tina! Make sure to check out the rest of our catalog as well. And we release three new stories every week produced by an all-star team of writers, narrators and producers.
This relaxed my mind. I love that I get a bedtime story read to me. It makes me leave all my cares outside and I can just remember what it was like to be a kid. When my mom used to read us the Little House on the Prairie series. So relaxing. When this part one and part two is done I'm hoping I can enjoy another story.
I typically listen to soft train sounds when I sleep, but then I find this to listen to. It's soothing. I can pay attention or think of other things, but I still end up falling asleep. It's the kind of magic like falling asleep in the car as a child, then waking up in your bed the next day. ❤
I am carried away with the Pocket family! How incredibly detailed, how wonderfully crafted is this little family, and I know I want more, more, more like these. A little escape before sleep is exactly what’s needed. These little people will be a part of my pre-sleep journey, and I will love ‘watching’ them as I drift off and leave them to their adventures until the next time I accompany them on another part of their journey, once again, on the way to mine. Many thanks, Simon! ~~>~~~~>~>~~~~~>~~~~>~~~>~~>~~>~~~~>~~>~~~>~>~~~
Omgosh the thumbnail/background is absolutely enchanting! Love how we can just peek into the warm, glowing windows and doorway 💜 Can't wait for bedtime 😴
Addicted! My new favorite nighttime listen. Nostalgia at its finest. I can hear a bedtime story after reading bedtime stories to my babies. Thank you so much for this!
The fish tank part 😍 I’ve played this for the last 3 nights, but I’ve always fallen asleep a few minutes in, so I never knew what happened in the story… Now, with a cuppa tea in hand, I’m deliberately keeping myself awake to hear it. I love it so much. Thank you
I did the same thing tonight! I listened to this magical story for the first time last night and fell asleep while the Pocket family was still on the windowsill. Had planned to listen to it again tonight as I was going to bed, but I've been wondering ALL day today about what might have happened during the rest of the story. So, as I went through my nighttime routine this evening, I played the rest of this one and absolutely adored every detail. The fish tank part was so lovely! I think my favorite parts were the family marveling over the hot cocoa and then the cereal loop. 😋 Now that I'm ready to tuck into bed for the night, I'm going to start part 2 in the Giant Garden. The narrator's voice is perfection... I could fall asleep to him just reading the phone book aloud! Ha! Thank you, Get Sleepy, for bringing childlike wonder and restful sleep to us all. I'm very grateful to have found this channel the other day.❤ -a lifetime insomniac now sleeping like a happy baby
What a delightful story. I couldn’t get to sleep (but am very relaxed) after this first listen. I kept finding myself smiling as the story unfolded and I envisioned the next sweet scene. Just enchanting!❤
This Tiny Family story is truly enchanting and cozy, perfect for drifting off! 🏡💤 Your gentle narration and captivating storytelling create a magical atmosphere that helps me unwind and fall asleep with ease. I love the unique perspective of the tiny world you've crafted. Thank you for another delightful bedtime adventure! Can't wait for more. ✨😴

This was the comment I was looking for. Based on the title and the great thumbnail, I wanted to see if anyone made that connection before I started listening. Love those kind of stories, still. Thanks for the help!
Thank you for this there are very few good memories i have of my mother, but she read to us or told us a story at night. I have had many struggles especially of late. My inner child is so so very happy, and i love it to. Thanks!!!!!!
A very excellent progressive relaxation and meditation introduction prior to the story. I found the story read was just a wee tiny bit too fast. Especially after such a mediative voice and calming cadence. But I love the story. I wonder how many of us long to live this tiny existence. I used to dissociate in early childhood and had a tiny traveler who would allow me to leave my very bad situation, so I could hide under the small space below the dresser. 55 and i still 'feel' the carpet and cheap veneer dresser) I wish I could have travelled further away from that bunk bed where my brother laid, pretending to be asleep while my vacated body was being hurt. while I waited for it to end, tucked safely out of sight. It was much worse before I became capable of dissociation. I think that's how I made it through my years of school and postgrad studies. Thanks and sorry for the long tangent.
I have always used relationships with others to help me feel like I’m not alone. I have kids and I still feel lonely when they aren’t with me. I believe this has helped me. Thank you for this video.
This story is the perfect one to fall asleep to. Intriguing storyline and relaxing Soothing voice of Thomas and reader Simon! Thank you for making this! I'm looking forward to more stories of the Pocket Family!
I am amazed. This wasn’t just a great relaxing story but it did help me fall asleep in a way I have not been able to in a very long time! I just kind of drifted and relaxed and had this relaxed, calm sweet dreams (not too long and not all night, just enough) and I slept for a good amount before waking up relaxed and happy; just like my sleep. Thank you so very much for this
Just found your channel last night. I really appreciate your sense of style and the attention to details you put into your videos. Your videos help me a lot as I'm reducing the amount of sleeping pills for better wellbeing. ❤❤❤

I shit you not... 🤯
I can't look away , and as the voice tells the story I sink further into it. It's hypnotic , I'm stuck in pocket land oh no hahahaha It' reminds me of the little fairy folk and elves.
Fellow insomniacs...I never heard the end of this story! Loved the story...kept my mind occupied. Thank you. Hope to hear more tonight. Had a vision quest dream right before the cat woke me up...IS THERE ANYTHING BETTER THAN SLEEP??!!?? NO!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I've always been an avid reader, so I'm not sure how I missed the book The Borrowers as a child. I first saw the movie in the seventies. I think there have been new ones made of the interesting Clock family. I was so thrilled to find these stories of the tiny Pocket family that are so reminiscent. There is so much attention to detail. It's amazing. I only wish the stories were longer. I totally enjoy the writing, and the narrator Simon is wonderful. So many people enjoy this story, I hope you are encouraged to write many more.❤
Thank you so much! Your comment means a lot 💙 Here's a playlist of all stories narrated by Simon: ua-cam.com/play/PLari4ODEnihrQFjdqvq77nT_jpvqOOhPq.html

OMGOODNESS,☺️I LIKE THIS VIDEO VERY MUCH AS IT QUITE REMINDS ME OF... "THE ~ LITTLES" CARTOONS BACK IN THE 70's & 80's, and "THE SMURFS" are on that awesomely interesting list too.. lol

I love this sleep story better then any of the others it’s so calming for some reason Iv fell asleep to this like five times already 😅
These videos always help me sleep after a bad day
I love this. I fell asleep quite a few times to Benedict cumberbatch reading Sherlock (his voice is relaxing to me) and yours reminded me of his.
Sending wishes for a serene night filled with restful slumber. Sweet dreams, everyone!
Part 3 please 😀
Could listen to this tonight. Thanks 📕 📚 📖 😴 💤 🛌

I can't look away , and as the voice tells the story I sink further into it. It's hypnotic , I'm stuck in pocket land oh no hahahaha
It' reminds me of the little fairy folk and elves.
haha, it's nice to be stuck in pocket land 😄 so glad you enjoy the story!
