I bought one of these and have completed 4000 fun filled miles. This style is iconic and it handles and rides really well. Economy is quite good but it performs very well and will do 70mph without a problem. Very fast away from the lights and I really recommend anyone to get one of these 250 GTS.
I've had this scoot for four months and I really love it. I've had fitted the small flyscreen that helps at speed. It's so easy to ride, very forgiving and it's so much fun. Most of the time I have my daughter on the back and we can still do good speeds. Quite expensive to buy but great fun and so economical, it's worth it! Go get one! Rosso Red - the only colour to have!!
I have been considering the 300 for so long, that I really just over looked the 250. But all I have read is that the 300 is the same size engine as the 250, it's just been bored out to give it that extra torque at lower speeds, but the top out speed is actually about the same as a 250. I currently ride a Vespa 150ie LX. it's great for around town, but it's not freeway legal. I want something with power for this brown boy from California. They're a blast to ride.
Meine Vespa seit 2008. Bis heute 20'000 km ohne Pannen und grössere Reparaturen. Der Roller fährt häufig in der Garage unseres Wohnmobils mit um dort die kleineren und grösseren Reisen mit uns zu unternehmen.
Howdydoodie you may have a point, but I think people have negative opinions of scooters or the name itself carries with it a negative image. Anything that can reach 70 mph or better is worthy to ride. It's bound to be fun and it's a 250. The new ninja 250 is a neat bike yet no-one calls that a scooter.
I want one. And I think I'm going to sell my FZ6 and buy one. I'm back to commuting to school and these things are so much fun to ride! I'll get another motorcycle after graduation, likely an adventure touring bike of some kind :)
I had to chuckle at your comment,. being a real man that you are,. If you have 30- 40 -50 k for a motorcycle,. knock yourself out,. your a real man,. Put on your leather chaps and ride,.This is more about affordable transportation, and affordable maintenance ie. gas,. Hey ride your harley,. but dont knock people that are trying to save you and your childrens future. Harleys are nice, but the green in my pocket is nicer
The mileage and price for these Vespas doesn't seem so hot. I think I'd rather just throw that extra cash into upgrading to a prius/insight/leaf etc. I think the lost 5mpg would be worth the safety as well.

This model will actually do 70mph on the freeway without a problem. Better safe than sorry.
I transitioned from VESPINO to Vespa because it had gear shifter and manual clutch. When did that go away?
My favorite Vespa model

This is my ride and I love it. Makes going to work worth it. I've had "Princess Vespa" for over 4 yrs. with minimal problems.

old video but still will ask = how is it performing with pillion on it>? have you tried it ?
very nice, but if you get a flat back tyre it is a nightmare to change! you have to take the exhaust off!
I'm 13 and i learned how to ride a scooter, I want one!!!!
I love vespa...muaah
I own this one and it does 4l/100km which is 60mpg riding in the city (it's more like 3l/100km on highway - 75mpg)
thank you for putting scooter reviews on here! I'm in the market for them so thank you!!!
An engine and two wheels = motorcycle.
I'm certainly looking to buy one to save money. My commutes are long and 27 mpg ain't cutting it.
What was the top speed?
do you like our vespa scooter??
How much does it cost?
Great Review!
what mpg did he say?
haha you r funny.. go buy a vespa, you will love it!

Haha, Since when was this Scooter Usa?
@dick117 You don't buy a Vespa to save money. You buy a Vespa because you want a Vespa.
COME BACK HERE VESPA! VESPA! VESSSSPAAAAAA! Oh, you came back! mmmhmmmmmmmmmmhmmmm- wait. Vespa? VESPA COME BACK HERE! I CAN CHANGE!
Italian school man!
Did he say 1500 miles a gallon or did he slur his speech?
i ride one of these in europe it's good
sounds fine to me.
this one is 22BHP...
Mitica VESPA.
Yeah...real old men!
they can still go like 50 mph so why not.
I take my 150 on the free way
Seriously?
commmmon scooters? Do we really need reviews for scooters? Don't get me wrong i got nothing against them, but this is MOTORCYCLE USA.
2:10 - 2:12 LMFAAOO ! "Beep beep beep"
It's not a P series. Dosnt look or sound like a real Vespa. And if you have to take the exhaust off to change the back tyre that's fucked !

why is he wearing full body gear AND a helmet for a scooter? lol
You think roads care what kind of bike you're riding if you fall off at 70 mph?
Common sense isn't so common anymore 🙄
Your question is quite nieve.....is there a difference falling from a motorcycle or a scooter ?
I agree the price is ridiculous for these tiny scooters
anyone else here from pewdie
lucky
It has lots of storage. Thats where you can put your pride manhood self respect...I could go on!!
Looks very practical, but I don't think I will ever like the looks of them.
Great scooter, lousy review. Poor language skills and monotone, Vespa didn't do themselves any favor letting this guy review their bike.
pewdiepie
XD
You guys say uh.. and studder a lot.
is it really nesasary to dress all up it a fucking vespa
You can buy a "real" motorcycle for what they ask for these little Vespas.
The only thing that makes me want to puke more than a someone on a BMW is someone on a Vespa.
Weak video.....you know?
