    It’s not a con man’s game. I have bought for 12 years at $14.00, $15.00, $16.00, $17.00, $18.00 in the $20s and even $30s. My average is somewhere in the 17s and 18s. Happy I did.

Metals are a game of wealth protection, not a 50x your investment. That would be the casino they call cryptos. Invest in bonds & equities, but buy Gold (and Silver) to protect your families wealth for the Long Term.

Diversify any portfolio for multiple circumstances, at least a little of each, even a little extra food, alcohol, oil for car ect. that you will use as inflation keeps rising. We couldn't believe the prices over doubled when we go to replace what was used but glad we bought at a lower price to be able to pay the higher price later and hopefully in stock and on sale, it hurts just a little less.-John's wife

For me, instead of going and blowing $400 at a casino, I now go buy $400 in metal and sit and enjoy it. I can't explain it, but it was the easiest way to eliminate 1 addiction and replace it was a less harmful addiction.

Absolutely the truth… silver and gold are real commodities. Paper, and digital only exist when it’s profitable to someone else. It’s a club and we are not in it. ( George Carlin) if you buy low, you can and will be able to sell high. Always buy responsibly, and never listen to FOMO sells pitches. If you feel like you’re being pushed into buying , walk away. Watch big name bullion companies sells pitches to you advantage. If you see metals for zero premium… price is going to drop. Wait till next week.

Worth noting. One of the first things people did in the mornings for decades was sit down for breakfast with their newspaper. While there are significant differences between newspapers and social media apps, the main difference is that consumers have more choice of content. Before the turn of the century media conglomorates (mostly) controlled the flow of information to people, wheras now it's become decmocratized and there are more voices shouting into the social ether. I'm a millenial, and I vividly remember my parents and grandparents with thier noses stuck in a newspaper rather than interacting with us as children. What people get upset about now is that young people are doing it too.

Here are my tips…. 1. BUY THE LOWS! 2. NEVER panic buy! 3. Don’t invest in precious metals as a way to get rich. If you make money, great! It’s about protecting your assets.
Social media today cries Chicken Little all day, every day. They are influencing people to buy precious metals at any cost in most cases scaring people with all this sky is falling BS. If there is a collapse, you’re covered. If not, you covered too. Just NEVER panic buy because of what YT know it alls think. Think for yourself and do your own research!

@Vermillion Enterprises: I got caught up in the craze back in the 2008-2010 timeframe, bought collectible stuff. Had no plan. I learned about stacking and figured out that simplification is best. One ounce Buffalo, ASE’s, and 90%. Nothing else. I am still ridding myself of stuff that does not fit the plan. I think a lot of people don’t think about what happens after you leave this earth. The family member that has to deal with the precious metals may not know anything so keeping it basic is best for me. Thanks for another great video.

I'd like to get the Vermillion perspective on premium volatility and its causes. In your experience, which products (I think you call them SKUs?) have seen greater/lesser changes over time and is it always just a supply-demand issue or are there other factors? (E.g.: was the huge premium on ASEs in '21 & '22 only because the mint slowed down, or do ASEs and junk-90 always spike when we get a bunch of newbs come in with a FOMO situation?)
Also (as it seems related) - what sets the difference between the price you buy and the price you sell (what Wallstreet calls the "bid/ask spread") for each SKU?

Small (5-10 ozt), consistent DCAing is the way to go when it comes to silver (in my opinion).. Me I stick with ASE (when Premiums are low like they are right now), Maples (2018 - now only), and a few collector pieces that are on sale or very low price.... I've been more bullish on platinum as of lately though(1/20 ozt a month since 2022) ... either way I don't plan on selling any of my silver gold or platinum till well after 2030...

Hot diggity go into gold. Have persistence. Knowledge in these markets come with experience in time. Silver and gold aren’t really “investments” in the typical sense, more of a hedge against inflation. Data backs this up.
If you really want to “invest” go with high grade (MS65 and higher) rare coins - NOT just any high grade coin. High grade, rare coins have consistently gone up double digits over the last 3 decades at a rate that has outpaced any meager gains in gold/silver. Silver is also relatively flat if you draw a regression line over the price data over the last century and account for inflation.
Cheers friends and God Bless You

I am a diversified investor, precious metals, rare coins, stocks, real estate, Cds, etc. Please don't take this as a criticism but a lot of people are lazy and don't put the effort into learning what and why they are buying. For example, I really like "toned" coins but instead of jumping feet first I bought a few books and read about why coins are toned, how, etc. and then bought a few. I have had stocks go up 200 % and then have had stocks where the company went bankrupt, and it became a tax write-off. Even Warren Buffett owns "dogs." Don't get down on yourself from mistakes, in the end the winners will outnumber the losers. Educate yourself. I like generic gold and silver because on any given day you know the buy/sell price and you can make a decision on something solid.

~ Don't buy a lot of Silver and/or gold until you have no consumer debt. For years, I used some of my overtime money and bonuses to buy my precious metals. At the same time I saved money at home to build up a three month worth of Rent/mortgage and utilities in case I got laid off or a storm killed power, which has knocked out any businesses that had accepted credit cards.

Stackers should forget all the debates over whether paper gold/silver suppresses prices. This debate is mostly irrelevant. Here is what you should know:
Gold and silver are for STORING wealth. You need to HAVE wealth, before you can STORE wealth. Gold and silver are not lottery tickets or cryptocurrencies that are going to go to the moon. You are not going to buy a few thousand dollars worth of silver and wake up tomorrow and be a millionaire.
What you should do is buy low, sell high. Watch the price over time and when it gets low then buy more bullion to add to your stack.

Great presentation and I agree 99.9%. With respect to the inherent risks of having so many 'talking heads' on UA-cam and other venues, I see it as a glass half full. I get information from
multiple sources before making investment decisions, as I think most people do. For example, one notable content creator (Bix Weir) is often disparaged (and IMO rightfully so) due to
his use of astrology in addition to pushing digital assets. But he also repeats, details, and amplifies your point about manipulation, JP Morgan, etc. So if he's right about something, he's right.
And whatever the motives may be is largely inconsequential to me, so long as facts are being disseminated. The internet can be a two-edged sword but generally speaking, more is better.

Great bike shop analogy, but I may start with the grocery store one to emphasize the need to have a list when you buy groceries unless you’re looking for one specific item. I love you guys. I’m tempted to try and force my LCS to watch your videos so they can learn how to do business. It’s not right that I have to drive seven hours to do business with someone who is fair and transparent.

The irony of people jumping to silver because they feel the dollar is manipulated is delicious. Frying pan into the fire. Does it matter if folks know for sure if it is manipulated or not? Just like War Games the only way to win is not to play....
That being said I stack silver and gold for the long term, it is a very low return savings if needed (at least silver) but I try and buy the silver now that is also "art". Not like crazy pieces but items/coins/bars/etc that I can pick up look at and say "now that is cool"... and pass it on to my kids.
Folks that think because they say something is manipulated is some how going to stop it from being manipulated are SOL... 🙂
Your portfolio shouldn't be more 10%. One simple reason... last year alone I made 32% on my 401k. I made zero on my silver gold stack since the price is the same as it was last year (actually less) plus the premiums... so technically last years haul lost about 5%.... gold faired a bit better. 32% gain 401k vs 5% loss... it's not rocket science. The S&P500 indexes kicks PMs arse over the past 30 years... that is fact. Doesn't mean don't stack it... means don't ONLY stack PM. Don't plan to retire on it alone...
Oh, final thought, it should be 10% of a portfolio of a retirement fund that has $1.2 million in it at the end... so you can do the math. That is A LOT of PM.

There are few silver mines. Its not profitable. Silver is a by product of gold and other mining. So. When the economy declines a lot and demand for copper goes down then less silver is mined but less is also used in industry. Less supply and less demand cancel out to keep the price stable.

collect metals for fun and for the long play. do your main investments elsewhere. feeling hurt over the metals market is cause you married the asset class and expect too much. enjoy buying cheap metals while they last. it won't be forever.
