I have rode many miles on nebraska minimum maintenance roads by myself. Broke a chain and ended up walking to an old abandoned bailer, found some wire to make a link,ish fix, made it home. P.S. dont ride alone.

I have a 400ex and creek riding is some of the most fun you can have on em if you know how to ride and rip threw them creeks.

just curious, why is you key, nuetral and reverse ligh on your front plastic instead of on the handle bars like stock
I dont have stock bars so you either have to make a plate to relocate your key and lights or bore into the plastic somewhere. I bought a fourwheeler before where they were on the hood and I always kinda liked it lol

Do you have spacers on the 400?
I don't on my 2007 in this video. It has +2 rear axle and +2 front a arms. My 2012 has +1 spacers on the front but ill be getting a arms for it soon
What is your Exhaust setup? I just recently bought an 05 400ex.
I have a HMF Competition exhaust just the slip on. If you dont want to change the volume of your exhaust then just get the HMF Performance both sound great
@@BrewerOffroad Alright thanks. Your quad sounds great. My friend has an HMF with a quiet core, but his is jetted for the exhaust he has a 152 main jet.

Depends on the year but one tooth smaller on the front than stock

why did you get stranded? dead battery?
Yeah I had recently cut the lights for the reverse and neutral light and they were shorting out and draining the battery. I separated them and it solved the problem 👍

Brewer Offroad I got another question I just got a 04 400ex and it won’t idle I looked throw the carb but did rlly see a problem but I ordered a new one you know what else it could be and how I could fix it?
Will it run with the choke on then die when you turn the choke off? Will it run when you give it gas but dies when you let off?

It is a hero 8 black. The hero 7 black is a great camera as well! The go pro "black" models are the best ones to use and worth the extra money or the white and silver models

I have an 07 400ex how do i get it running like yours its stock i have a slip on and i have a stage one Dino what do i need to do to get it running like yours. go one up on the bore and put stage 2 hot cams?
I wouldnt change the bore until you need to rebuild it. A dino jet kit isnt the best way to go. Buying a large jet kit and interchanging jets to find the best fit is the best route. A stage 2 cam is a good power upgrade. You could change your front sprocket from 14 teeth to 13. If you are really looking to wake it up you could run a trx 450 carb on it.

I have an 06 and an 08....and I still want the bug eyes. Always have. Just can't find a clean enough one for the right cash. If its a clean nice bike they want 5k or something stupid.

Brewer Offroad I don’t know how to fix my clutch problem it’s like slipping I think how can I fix it
May need a new clutch pack. And replace the cable with an OEM cable. Most other cables run tight
