  • This is the Agnus Dei from the "Requiem, Op. 9" by Maurice Durufle recorded by the Choir of St. John's College Cambridge with George Guest, Conductor and Stephen Cleobury, Organist. This version is with organ only instead of orchestra. I do not own the copyright of either the recording, the photo, or of the printed music. No copyright infringements are intended.

    It is so nice to hear this requiem. It is my first time listening to this piece Many years ago, I performed this work With the Concordia College Community Chorous. It is a very difficult work to learn and it was one of my least favourites, but the audience enjoyed it. I now appreciate it.

    Despite it being many cents below 440, it remains my favorite recording of choir/organ of this masterwork.

      its not. it is the plainchant Requiem, which Durufle based his entire Requiem on
