I know it’s not his characters formula but I really enjoyed serious Spencer this episode. Hopefully they continue exploring that serious side of him next season regarding his feelings towards the mom and what it was like for him. Maybe he became extra goofy to suppress his anger and take care of Carly. Maybe that’s why Carly was raised to take care of herself and him because he was abandoned by the woman who is supposed to take care of both of them.
For real - at least Spencer and Carly knew their dad was working overseas for the family. All this time, I kept thinking, "Where was their mom? Did she die?" Now we finally get an answer after all these years. I hope there's dramatic confrontation between Spencer and their mom.
I think it's time we all admit Carly and Spencer had THE shittiest parents. Idc care if their dad was away working with the army or whatever he literally left his kids alone and had Spencer wanted to stay in law school he probably couldn't have anyways. Both parents literally ruined one kids life and abandoned the other
First of all, I had no idea that I would love the “Grown-Up” years of this show so much and I love Nathan Kress as an actor. He really brought out the love story and got me re-invested in iCarly. Come on people in the Friend Zone! Y’all up by 1,000 points. 😂🎉😊

Pay them all for only 1 day of work, but be allowed to keep using their likeness in any and all shows and movies in the future for anything they please with no extra compensation using AI. And that just the beginning of their plans, afterwards they were planning to replace full on actors and actresses with AI in the same way. Eventually having movies and shows with actors and actresses you know, yet they didn't spend a single day working on the movie, all entirely AI. That was the plan anyway.
If they did get married, I would have LOVED for Sam to be there. Just because she was her best friend. It feels so wrong without her there. But, I completely understand Jeanette's reasons. Poor thing has been through a lot. I don't blame her for not coming back. Still, I hope they at least MENTION Sam somehow. She obviously can't be there. But just a name drop is enough. 😥❤

Great episode and great ending, i just hope we get a season 4. However it strikes the question, why did Spencer and Carly's mom visit them at a wedding that's not even theirs? For that i have a few theories? 1) As we saw Spencer trying to tie up loose ends during this whole episode, id be willing to bet that he always had a way to contact his mother but never did bc of what she did to them, and as stated in this episode Carly never wanted to talk about her. There was another theory I read somewhere that maybe Carly didn’t fully turn off her live while she was showing the candelabra and how to feed a killer plant and their mom heard the conversation between Carly and Spencer before the place went kaboom 💥
