I just bought that same bike today. I absolutely love it. Picking it up tomorrow. They’re putting in the stage 1 air cleaner and pathfinder headlight. It’s my first bike.
@@NoogaCowboy I put 500 miles on it in a week. Boy were you right. Got the Vance and Hines slash cut exhaust and the comfort seat and this bike is such a BLAST!
I know this is a year old video, but I was looking at a used bike nearly identical to this, and I was curious of your opinions about this being my first bike. Is it an appropriate choice or should I find a smaller bike first then work up?
Enjoyed the video. I'm definitely a fan of the Scout line-up! My next bike will be a Scout 60. My style of riding is best suited to that particular model. I'm not gonna rule out a bobber, but I like the more traditional look with the long fenders. Not a fan of the spoke look either. Unless they are tubeless. Spokes, when you get a flat are just a added hassle to repair. I'd rather be able to plug the tire and keep going. Anyway, ride as much as you can, and stay safe!
I had a 2018 scout bobber abs. I miss it but had to trade it in to get my challenger. I’m thinking of getting another in a couple years. Best looking bike out there in my opinion
Any idea what the MPG is on this bike? The Harley Iron and Yamaha Bolt both have around 50mpg. I assume this is somewhat comparable? (I doubt it would change my mind about wanting this bike but I’m just curious).
I love my mini apes. I have mine pushed closer to the front wheel rather than the back if that makes sense. Even with that position, I don't feel like I'm leaning forward. Overall, I'm very happy with them.
I sat on one of those bikes today and boy is it nice. Upgraded seat and a couple other things that I can't remember. If I ever have the money to get one I totally would. I also live that I can reach the forward controls aswell as I'm a little bit of a shirt rider
Got this same bike last week. Threw Vance and Hines slash cut slip ons which cleaned up the look a lot and makes it sound well.....like a real bike lol.
You're correct. The Scout Sixty. Scout, and Bobbers are less beefy. This one really seems less. A decent set of exhaust tips or full exhaust change makes a huge difference.
How tall are you? Mine is coming in about a week or two and I’m a little concerned about the mini apes. With the current climate, almost zero in stock anything... I had to order it sight unseen unfortunately.
I am considering this as my first bike, looks like a winner. I am just curious though, would you as an experienced scout rider consider a passenger seat for ANY of the scout models (especially the Bobber 20) to be more hazardous than worth it? or vice versa? Thanks!
Thanks for reaching out. The answer depends on how well your passenger can hang on. lol. Seriously, If you decide to go with a passenger seat I'd make sure it has a back rest. Might slip around without it. Don’t want that. Also, Might be a bit uncomfortable (suspension) for the passenger on longer rides but should be fine around town.
Was waiting for a reviewer to talk about the mini ape handlebars vs the normal one. While it seems that the ones on the 20 are more comfy I still prefer the look of the original ones for the bobber.
If the roads are imperfect you will feel every bump. These ride rough stock, even if you adjust the spring tension. you need to upgrade rear suspension to cushion the ride. Stock suspension only gives you about 1 1/2” or 2” travel before they bottom out.
I wondered the same thing but it’s basically just the trim. Engine specs are the same for both but the bobber 20 has mini ape handle bars when the scout bobber doesn’t. The 20 also has two tone exhaust as well as a different graphics on the fuel tank. Oh and spoked wheels on the 20 as well.
Just what Tyson said. Internally it is the same. Spoked wheels, different badge, mini apes, and 2 tone exhaust make up the difference between the 2 bikes.
@@stogie0608 many have complained that the seat doesn't hold you when accelerating on highways. I don't know. Maybe it's because I suffer like Hank Hill from Noasatol....
@@SumDumGoi hahaha oh I didn’t understand what you meant at first, yes the 2020s seat had no lip on the end to catch you. It’s happened to me, sliding back off the seat, you don’t have hank hills issue.
Bought a brand new Thunder Black one (not the Smoke tint) just a week ago and I was able to see it in person today. I'll be able to pick it up in a couple months... Man I cannot freakin' wait! 😍 Gotta point out though: as you see the bike in person it looks definitely meaner, longer and more slammed down to earth. The Bobber Twenty reeks pure beauty, awesomeness and badassery all at once! Thanks for the review! 😊
Absolutely gorgeous bike! I just recommended one to a friend, Mikey- the OCD HiFi Guy, hes looking for a bike! If you are into the best quality hifi gear hit him up!
I know they have to put that crappy exhaust on it for emission purposes but they should come out with a 2 into 1 exhaust stock. Most cost $200+ it would be nice to have a bike where you don't have to replace everything.
Yes sir. Alex nailed it. I would say that if you plan on riding two on a regular basis then you might want to look at a suspension upgrade. The passenger would be grateful. Haha. Ride safe, bro!
tried this bike on a roadshow and found it extremely disappointing. This engine has no character or sound. It just rides butter smooth like a 4 cylinder engine. Not really what I expected from such a bike. Looks like bad boy, rides like little girl.

just put a hold on one
I just got my 2021 Indian Scout Bobber Twenty in Stealth Gray. Awesome Motorcycle!!

@Hilt Deep Tactical BOSS!!
The ape hanger bars are more comfortable than the low handles?

@mrdude3540 💯. I just finished a test ride on a 24 Challenger Pursuit. Even with the added weight, it still handles like a dream!
@@NoogaCowboy nice is the 2024 the ones that come with the neon light speakers and speakers in the saddlebags?
@mrdude3540 I believe the speakers in the bags are part of the Powerband audio package.

I think it is around 45 MPG.
Do you folks like the mini apes? I'm debating between this model and the regular bobber, but I'm 6'0 and don't want to be leaning forward.

The V and H slash cuts sound great. Anything would be an improvement compared to the stock exhaust. Ride safe!
Is it me, or is the exhaust not as beefy sounding as the other ones?

The originals add to the look of the Bobber. I agree with you on that.
@@NoogaCowboy to you what set is the most comfortable. ? was thinking on getting these for my bobber.

As soon as I get mine I’m putting drag bars on my bike also aftermarket exhaust and 180 tires
Can you still drive the bike with the kickstand down?
Yes, it’s not connected to anything for it to work like a kill switch when it’s down. You can ride off with it down.

I like that they updated the seat. Hopefully it feels more safe and comfortable than the 2020

No. You'll be fine.
That exhaust is the size of the bike?!?!
Haha. That's why most people trash the stock exhaust once it rolls off the showroom floor.
You think the bike would look small for a 6'2 270? Love this bike but I think it might be too small lol
I've seen bigger guys on these bikes. Depends on your preference, but I think you would enjoy it.

I agree that the engine has zero sound and personality. I hope Indian will address that issue.
Indian should increase the engine displacement
