@Carl Marchiano The hell are you talking about, he's better now than he's ever been, listen to fucking Exist. He's always hated playing Beast and the Harlot.
In the recent serie of studio videos that they release it he said that actually hated because of the singing of the verses while playing the syncopated riff
"They're really yolked up like they're ready to fight somebody"😂😂😂..that's why they have a ton of haters. Their name was inspired by haters. Success is their vengeance!
Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan was the drummer for A7x until he passed away Dec 28 2009. As you can hear by this performance he was an exceptional drummer, much like Cliff Burton was for Metallica and the whole metal genre. Jimmy's legacy to metal and music as a whole will be felt for generations to come. RIP The Rev!! You have to check out Critical Acclaim and if you have an open mind A Little Piece of Heaven (If you check this one out, keep an open mind and remember it's art and it's fiction).
Forget suggestions, just check out as much stuff by them as you can. You can't really go wrong with these guys, they've always been amazing. But I would recommend looking up when each album came out and reacting to their songs chronologically,so you can see how they have evolved musically through the years.
I would suggest "God Hates Us" live at Rock Am Ring for the best live vocal performance you've ever heard. Also "Second heartbeat" live for the insane solo at the end. Beyond that, "The Stage" is a great song to listen and react to, I would do the music video for that one. "Nightmare" is amazing as well, live or music video, your choice
do "so far away" avenged sevenfold...its abit of a different take from their normal music, amazing song with deep meaning for the drummer jimmy the Rev
Fun fact: Gates hates playing this song because he has to sing co-lead while sweep picking through the entire thing lol
I knew he didn't like playing the song live but now I know, thank you.

No. Their name was inspired by the Bible. The story of Cain and Abel to be exact.
Save me is their best song. Trust me on this. Masterpiece.
