What a top bloke Rob Burrow is. How he is dealing with his illness is awe inspiring. The way JJB talks is also impressive - I really respect his views on both the sport and on related issues like this.
Neale Daniher AFL legend has MND & with his “Big Freeze” fund raising & beanies @ the MCG in Melbourne every year, has raised millions of $’s for research into this insidious disease. I do hope Rob keeps on keepin on, the crowd obviously adore him.
I don't know the bloke but I can tell immediately he is held in the highest of regard. MND is right up there with the cruelest of cruel. As has been mentioned already, Australia's ambassador for MND is Essendon/Melbourne's great, Neale Daniher. When diagnosed in 2014, his instant thoughts were 'How can I Help? It's not going to be about what I can't do.' In 7 years Neal's magic has raised $48million for MND research and support.
MND is one of the most devastating diseases I have ever come across. I have had several patients with it. The physical decline is clearly noticeable each time I'm called to see them again. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Tough little player, could of been a good utility off the bench the in the NRL if a team gave him a shot. Him and Sinfield are my first memories of getting into the super league.
Haha originally I was going to watch AFL then the st Helens Vs Catalans but I realised I'm out of the house, so the NRL game is a bit earlier and I will be home. They both have rubbish/weird names so not chosen them 😂
@@RobReacts1 fair enough mate 👌😂 enjoy it, the fullback for manly if he plays is easily in the best form of the competition atm so at least you'll see him play! Look into a few teams, you won't like my Sydney roosters 🤣 I hate most teams but Wests Tigers are acceptable I guess haha.
@@RobReacts1 I was wondering why you were dragging me out of bed so early when there is a later NRL match on! Good to see you get round to NRL though. In reply to ehhhhh, I think Burrow would have been better than a bench place in NRL. There wasn't such a gap between NRL and Super League then - Burrow was one of the better players in a team that beat the NRL champions three times in World Club Challenges.

Tough subject matter dealt with well there Rob. Thanks for that.
It's so sad to see the quick decline and the brave face his wife is putting on. Dreadful situation

The fact Rob knows MND will end his life but it's not stopping him really is inspiring
Takes a bloody tough old illness to knock this bloke down. Much love to rob and his family.
Neale Daniher . Top AFL Melbourne player . MND “ the Beast “ as Neale calls it . Big Freeze at the “G” . watch those if you can
Heart of a 🦁 lion. Legend as a player, even greater as a man. Keep fighting superstar.
He really is inspirational!

Someone linked about the AFL guy. I've not commented on it so I don't lose the clip as I want to watch it later. Such sad situations

It does look truly devastating. I feel for Rob and his family. And like you said, I wouldn't wish it on my enemy!
