2 years ago I took 3 tabs of acid, the first time, I was 17. I was trying to get a song to play before the trip began, and in my fiddling and trembling, I dropped my ipod. I picked it up and this played on repeat for 2 hours. I just rolled around in ecstasy, because this music was so incredible. I don't listen to this kind of music, but I'll always enjoy this video :) That day was a start to something new. So long ago now.

@mismookie1996 she was 28 probably. she was been 29 in 2009 when her birthday (the 16th of August) passed but this vid was uploaded before her birthday that year. This year, right now she is 31 years old. :)
It just is. Especially with the fact that I wouldn't expect that line in this type of song. I just like the other lyrics better,but hey,that's just me.

I guess something happened where her music producer wanted her to change them to "Don't you see your dreams lie right in the palm of your hand". It's unfortunate because I really like original lyrics, to me it was more raw and real. Also that verse definitely is easier to follow and sing to. I love her, she's bloody brilliant, beautiful, and talented.
Nobody sounds like this. Her music has unique lines and intervals. And her piano-playing is terrific. She's wonderful.

Agree, same timbre, but her voice is much more controlled and less nasal here than in early 2000´s. beautiful song
