Probably the best video I've seen demonstrating the tune/bolt-on gains. Definitely want to see what some headers will do since everyone seems to be saying they're a waste on a N/A vehicle.

The third gens are a MASSIVE night and day difference with those mods. It's really crazy how an N/A motor gets those big of gains from just a few simple mods. And damn you're super lucky your wiring harness wasn't shredded seeing as how you had a whole family of mice living in your engine bay!!

I have a 2013 and wanting to upgrade to the 18+ so bad, it's amazing how much you gained on just e85 stock, and then the oz tune to top it off! Not much on the intake swap but with exhaust I'm sure will be the icing on the cake!

Wow. thinking of a tune for my supercrew f150 on 37’s... This might be it. if you lower it, put a full exhaust, headers, and throw some street tires and regear that single cab would be hella quick! coo vid.

Do you have a lot of the factory parts and left over aftermarket stuff from undertaker before it was boosted? Plus as powerful as the power boosts are this is why I would always without a doubt go coyote. You are running faster than a lot of the TRXs that I’ve seen for way cheaper and waaaayyyy more reliably lol
Yeah those 35" tires they put on Raptors and TRXs slow them down quite a bit.
@@mikelemoine4267 I feel they dropped the ball on the TRX. They needed to either make it a powerful street truck like the srt10. Or put a different power plant in to balance it and lighten it up like the raptor. Or detune the hell out of it for reliability and fuel efficiency which are all things needed for a actual off-road truck. All these awd and transmission issues over 40 were pulled back over a month ago and on the ram tech forums it’s like a firestorm of catastrophic failures. They just tried to do to much and it got stuck in the middle. That hellcats and there transmissions are pushed pretty hard and don’t last long with the weight. Now you are trying to run the same power in a truck that weighs 6500 lbs all time awd with big wheels and tires and off-road suspension. It’s a recipe for disaster.

What gear ratio have your truck?
Make sure you clean out the catchcan. It's full of Duncan ice coffee.
Man... I have a 2wd 2019 5.0 XL single cab with the 8 foot bed... I wonder if it could come close to the stock time you had. It's a former fleet truck, bare bones, but it does have the 5.0 and 10 speed auto.
Your biggest issue will be traction. My 2019 Supercrew 5.0 2wd will light up the factory Hancock 275/55r20 tires no problem in 1st and I got the crappy 3:15 gear rear axle

This is awesome to see. The 5.0 is pretty stout. Why not the Boss 302 intake? I'm curious of the cons/benefits of the Mustang intake vs the Boss 302.

2. GT allow me to keep the imrc so my part throttle torque is there for my daily

What's a set of headers add for power when it's bolt on n/a?
Shoulda waited and got a 2021. These 18’-20’ models are gonna be just like the old 15’-17’ models in 6 months
21 has a very secure ecu, that doesn’t look like will be cracked this year

Boosted my trucks still in fab it's gone full blown drag! Getting a 6.49 cert cage full built everything fueltech ft 600 ecu and completely gutted and rewired..only thing left stock will be full frame and body got a powerglide and fully built stock blockshould be ridiculous when it's all done hoping to have it back to gether by fall for shakedown runs!? Fab takes along time!!! everything else is sitting waiting to bolt in...I haven't/can't find anything else on bwoodys full built truck since your original video..any updates what kinda hp did he make after sorting it out?what 1/8th and 1/4 times? Or maybe that's a secret?? Lol..I get it...I would like to get with you and organize a f150 coyote truck meet somewhere central us located so we all can come and race and check out everyone's styles...maybe nmra bowling green Kentucky..? Or the coyote shootout in Ennis Texas? I really want to run woody and some of the fastest guys to see where im at? I ordered a whipple for my 2wd f150 extracab longbed. So far Only thing done is install a fomoco carbonfiber 3.55 lsd and a $25 Amazon catch can. What is the next steps after my gen5 whipple is installed?
I was thinking putting on a wideband sensor and gauge... aem x 4110.
Then getting familiar with hptuner while I wait for delivery on supercharger
Since it's 2WD...I would definitely invest in the most sticky tires you can get or else it'll be like every hellcat on the road...a burn out machine...lol.
What could I do to my 4.6 liter in my F150 To add more power without breaking the bank? It's bone stock I just want to be able to pull a 30' camper lol
4.6L are harder. Usually the 5.4 is a better starting point. But check with whoever will do the tuning to get their advise. Cause I know they are not as responsive as the coyote is to mods and I don’t want to steer you in the wrong direction
Sell it and buy a 11-14 5.0

Any of you guys have the on/off throttle clatter when the engine is cold on your 2018+ 5.0?
My 18 has had it since new. Been to the dealer 3 times and keep getting told its normal.
Love the channel, your new f150 is a awesome truck but that particular 5.0 stock motor is not a good as your last.
A few people I know have had oil consumption issues due to the new metal used in the pistons expanding and contracts different that the cylinder walls. One of the trucks was a buy back from Ford it was such an issue.
Hopefully yours is all good and keep on tearing up the track.
His last truck was an 18 also, same engine if I'm correct. Unless they changed something mid production. Can you elaborate more on the oil issue? My 18 has 40k on it and has started to consume quite a bit of oil between changes.

The 3rd gen coyotes were supposed to have say titanium pistons and what the garage told my buddy was they react differently from heat. Others say pcv issue but not with his, the bought it back.
Was sitting at the dealership for a couple months paying on it before it got settled.
He didn't want no rebuild engine in his $75000 truck.
Also I have a 1st gen coyote and no issues

@@johnnys1650 lots of not so good information. There is a TSB, call your dealer and they will reprogram your PCM basically reducing high vacuum events.
