Beautiful, gorgeous boats, although I love the older models. These are my favorite boats and my goal to own one once I have gone through all of my sailing certifications
Such a great vid of an amazing yacht. Don't read the negative waffle in the comments. I always enjoy the vids you put up. Thanks for the efforts you guys go to. Cheers
i like this vessel except what someone else mentioned, the lack of wind at the wheel, i was hoping that maybe the windscreen opened as the super marimu 53 does, but it looks as if those windows are all sealed and do not open. Oh well not like i have the cash for such a beauty anyway :)
If you compared the Amel 55, the Discovery 58 and the Jeanneau 64, which would you think is the best value for the money for a couple operate as a global cruiser with guests?
I think the move to cutter rigged sloop for both the 50 and 60 is an evolution that makes sense and is in perfect keeping with the Amel values of ease of boat management, safety, and comfort but ketches are still a deservedly renowned blue water sailing plan.

If he does not read them, how does he know it's negative comments?
great photography and review as always.
Beautifully photograph. Great reviews as always.
are you drunk?
can u do a review on a Amel 64 as well?
I call that a good review. Thanks.
Don't hit the dock! I'm falling in love with AMEL. I hope they come- up with a swing-keel shallow draft model.
Swing keels are not a good idea for offshore. In the event of a knockdown, it can trunk at the exact moment when you need the COG down.

+carolina cruisers There's a cabriolet version as well.
Looks like there's a center piece of window that can be opened, though the sides are fixed.
who would know by this crap video, million dollar boat and a 6 min vid of some dude that the owner let take the helm for 30 seconds.
This is a bluewater cruiser, not a racer or weekend sailer. When you cross oceans you will be grateful for that sheltered helm.

would go the Amel plus being a ketch makes it great for blue water cruising
The Amel and Disco are in a completely different class.
You are comparing a Renault with a Benz!
philippe chevereau benz is garbage so are most other European cars
Ca na da boy : this is a pretty unique view to consider www.mercedes-benz.de/ as garbage... I would love to drive your car!
Nice transition model.
When the wind is blowing that much, do the talking later and cut out the wind sound. Otherwise it's tough to understand anything.
best boat ever!!! S2
what is the price fully loaded ??
Nice video.
A proper solution for this video is to remake it and have a pro. microphone that can deal with the wind
+bill739123 Well said.
They fucked it up. Turned it into a boat show boat.
the only thing that bugs me is you wont be able to feel the wind at the wheel
I like this AMEL 55 so whit is price of it.
saw this boat in back winds great!
The super Maramu was very stout and reliable but felt like a bus.
Was being run over-powered. Trim!
What ? I can't hear you yelling. Sorry
New Delos
Nothing could replace Delos. I doubt Kazza would ever agree.
how much you want
Why iron ballast? Why?
To save in cost.
como siempre Amel acierta
"Amel 9" ?
Where's the dinghy?
+yougivemeoneOK Amel doesnt make Dinghy's (in my most snooty french accent..;)
+JoeVSvolcano LOL
You mean the tender.... a tender is a small boat that tend to the yacht's need...
jwrappuhn71 lol
its time to get the camera off this guy and on the yachts! water tight doors... thats what i want to see not this guy.
AMEL screwed up by abandoning the ketch

seems to me me it wont sail in light winds, .. it needs 30 knot winds , to even raise the sails .
Roger sage
difficult to understand . between the foreign accent and the wind across the mic and the music. later
weeee weee weeeee!!!!!!!!!
This guy must be super weak the way he has to put his body into all the steering movements in all his videos.
