      A tip: watch movies on Flixzone. I've been using them for watching loads of movies recently.

    Great Video!!! Where I live it NEVER gets cold enough to make ice fishing available, but it looks soooo fun!! Best of luck and tight lines!!

    You mentioned using a light in the dark water I would like to get one for fishing at night for walleye it would be great if you could do a video on using underwater lights for night viewing I was looking at some very bright scuba diving lights but not sure if they would work or would look like bright headlights in a snowstorm also would it be better to have it shining down from just under the ice in say 15 ft of water or should it be under or above the camera and shining in the same direction as the camera. Please do a video on dark water fishing with a light no one has that on UA-cam thank you

    Motorized tripod is a waste. Cut slot In a frisbee and put camera cord in slot and attach close pin. Holds camera at right level and hold it from spinning. Cheap and easy.

      I like that idea, I might use the clothes pin for mine. I think the motorized one is good for fixed shanties with the camera far away

      When I am sitting in my tandem camper ice shack in my lazy boy and watching the fish on the big screen the motorized tripod is the only answer

    Great info. I have the same camera. I wish I could record in higher resolution without needing to purchase a $2000 camera, but it works for now.

      You can get the aqua vu hd7i and get a seperate recording unit. Just got one and they are awesome. Going ice fishing this weekend and going to bring my big screen TV and inverter and battery and going to watch the fish on a giant screen in HD!

    I won like the Chinese version of this camera on UA-cam and I swear it works just about as good. Thanks for the spinning tips though I gotta get one of those tripods and weight deals

    I have an old srt aqua vu. It is heavy and a pain. That unit looks pretty cool. I bet much cheaper than panoptix too.

    I could see bottom as you lowered the camera in 50 feet with the infa-red plain as day. It definitely doesn't help letting it hit bottom stirs up lots of sediment & silt

    • @BendItFishing
      @BendItFishing  4 роки тому +1

      This is true. I usually use my sonar to lower it down then look at the camera to get the right height. Setting it in the mud keeps it from spinning as well.
