I use a milk crate from my garage to sit on. Add a little cushion if you really want to be fancy.

Then you rub the inside dirt back on the wheels. Then you should do outside inside outside 😂
Make sure to repeat if it’s not clean enough and rinse your brushes between each wheel sometimes between each section depends on how dirty the wheels and tires are!
Or just use multiple brushes

Always start with a clean wheel
This is not the correct way! You need to take the wheel off the vehicle and specifically clean both sides and apply coatings to both sides, polish, and then your finish procedures
What about the wheel well? Do you do that first?? I prefer Griots tire shine after I condition the tire with chemical guys tire conditioner. You have been SO RAD AND PIVITOL IN MY BUSINESS. So quick question. Looking to start out in the mobile detailing world. Realistically speaking can’t I just use the diluted product and focus on the tire first like you did. But instead of breaking the rim you into two parts like you did. Can’t I just spray the whole rim including the inner parts as well all at one time? And then scrub?
Wouldn’t the tyre rims go rusty if you rinse it?
I use Meguiars All Wheel Cleaner, let the chemical do all the work and than scrub and rinse

Aint rinsing first worse cos it doesn't let the cleaner cling to the dirt properly. Same thing applies to the car paint, touchless foam first the wash off
And then it rains the next day and your back to square 1

What all purpose cleaner are you using
Is it extra that I actually take the wheels off and clean them and wheel well? Gives me a good sight on the suspension system, bushing and brake set and if anything seems wrong.
If your client/customer, charge more. If you wanna take it to another level, you can use a tire machine to remove tire and clean the entire rim including grinding/brushing off any corrision if there is any lol. That's extra charge too lol.

Remove the tires and mags off the car and that makes all the difference when you detail even the inside of the mag 🎉
What tire shine do you recommend that won't sling off??
Black magic tire wet is the best, it lasts for weeks if you clean the tires good

The best thing is probably to find out yourself since it's depends on location. Tools and stuff like that would be the same, but a shop with insurance, electricity, water... etc depend on location. Plus taxes

Full strength wheels. Probably something like 1:8 for rims

I just use microfiber towel or mitt and a boar hair brush on my black wheels. I used. I used to use the brushes he did but my wheels got scratched. Better safe than sorry.

Personally I like bead maker. But on paint I prefer other spray detailers
I just don’t believe in using APC for everything. I think different parts of the car should have their own dedicated formulated chemocals
Using APC on everything especially wheels can definitely dry up/stain the wheels.

I do tires last. I don’t wet with water. Why dilute soap with more water? I use the soap I have used for my car.
Ph neutral soap doesn’t always work for really dirty wheels n tires, plus sometimes overspray or the suds get everywhere.
I have that same brush and it sheds a TON, do you have the same issue?

for me, clean the interior first, because my clothes still dry, remove all the dust from the floor, trim, panel.
then wash the tire, and then the car, dry it up, dressing the tire, put back on garage then use car cover after 3 or 5 hours so its not moist.

You shouldn't rinse it with water first. That's how the dirt is less agitated by chemicals.
@walker.wayne57 Nope - it's just common sense. Let the chemicals work, wait, rinse. If you don't have 1cm/1inch of loose dirt on the wheels there's no point to rinse them first. Moreover first rinse will lower proportions of chemicals. You also rinse twice.

We use acid but when it actually needs it. This is just your typical dirt/grime and can 100% be easily removed with an all purpose cleaner
My mom always told me growing up it’s easier to keep something clean on the regular than it is to let it get super dirty and have to clean it

If you do not take the wheel off it is not the "ultimate" way to clean it. I guarantee if you took that wheel off after this cleaning process, it will be dirty. Good job cleaning the face though.
My thoughts exactly! Remove the wheel, clean it VERY well, when it’s 100% then I put ceramic coating on it to help make it easier to clean next time, followed by AMMO Mud dressing on the tires. 👍🙌🏼👏🏼

After the whole car is washed and dry
Apply the tire shine very thick then proceed to wash the vehicle and spray the wheels down again that have tire shine on. Proceed to wipe the tires to fully dry. Let me know how it turns out bud!

For sure but I think he’s just meaning for general cleaning. It can be pretty difficult to take each wheel off and clean them since a lot of these videos are directed towards mobile detainers and folks at home.
