It's been a brilliant series Liam. We've enjoyed everyone of your adventures. You kept it all so real throughout. We look forward to following you onto your next chapter, we'll done 👏 🎉 You did great!
I'm from the US and travel to England often, I really enjoy your travels and how positive you are throughout your adventures. I have watched many of your videos and look forward seeing more in the future. I decided to sponsor you, (every little bit helps )so you can keep up with your adventures, which helps me to experience England, even when I'm away. Thank you ! By the way what is the brand of coffee in a bag that you take with you. I tried to buy it in stores when I was in Cornwall and Devon this past September but couldn't find it.
Have loved this series, you encouraged me to make the most of what's on our doorstep and my 6yo and I have tasked ourselves with visiting all the national parks over the 6 week holidays. 4 left to go and loving every minute. Thanks for inspiring us on your travels!
To be fair, The Broads is not technically a National Park. It's its own special thing in law. And yeah, it's rubbish for walking and camping. It's all about the waterways.
Living in the New Forest, I have to say that it is best enjoyed in spring/ early summer when the heather is in bloom. The contrasting colours are amazing!
You're my favourite youtube channel for sure. Your videos are somehow super calming and inspiring to me. I'm planning to go to the UK from New Zealand and do some wild camps in Scotland and Wales one day. Thanks for the videos and please keep it up!
@@WarfareJournal there definitely are, but I love the historical feeling of the UK! Aotearoa/New Zealand is one of the newest countries. Definitely planning on some wild camps here too though!
I've reallu enjoyed this series. I've never camped in my life but seeing you do this has inspired me, i feel like it's something that has to be done in my lifetime.
You have been to more places in Wales than I have - and I'm born and bred! Completely ashamed of myself - but you are now an honorary Welshman, in my opinion. I will be wild camping with my boys once they are old enough - and we have you to thank for that.
I’m definitely biased having been born in Pembrokeshire but great choice at no. 1. You must walk the Pembrokeshire Coastal path, 186 miles with beautiful Poppit sands next St Dogmaels in the North and Amroth in the South and so many wonderful locations in between, it will not disappoint!
Hello from NZ. If you want remoteness, come down to NZ ,it will not disappoint, You can go of into the mountains and never see another soul for weeks on end or go off track and never see any one ever again (apart from getting supplies). Enjoyed the video. Cheers from the mountains of NZ 😀😀
I really hope you keep making outdoors videos after this. They have inspired me to do what I love doing. I've been choosing a new destination, waking up early and going for it, (on the weekend) for the last few months and it has been fucking spectacular. What's next? 15 highest UK mountain climbing series?
I'm a proud Englishman but I have to say Snowdonia is just the most amazing place ! Walk around Llyn Idwal and climb any of the mountains there for the most amazing experience :)
The Rhinogydd part of snowdoinia is where its at for me (specifically the parts east of llyn Trawsfynydd, the mountains aren't as big or dramatic as tryfan snowdon, or any those big ones closer to Anglesey but its absolutely one of the most serene and wild places ive ever been to/go to. Wild ponies and wild goats, i saw them literally butting heads with each other this time (just north of Rhinog fawar in the "badlands" as the locals call it.) If you go to snowdoinia often and haven't been there before then its definitely worth a visit.
Some national parks are obviously better than others for wild camping. But you need to hire a boat to appreciate the Broads... it's incredible. Hundreds of miles of navigable waterways, it's like a little pocket of the Amazon, but in England.
When you explore the Norfolk Broads by boat it's a surreal experience with seemingly endless navigable waterways surrounded by huge reed beds and an amazing variety of birds and wildlife.
If I won the lottery I'd move to England in a heartbeat. I'm from Germany and while I do appreciate the Alps and a couple of other spots here, it's just too nice and clean and boring. From North to South, everything looks the same. Something I love about the UK is the diversity of _and within_ the landscapes, the ruggedness and "old" look that's part of nearly everything. I've been on road trips around Britain 4 times and have seen the most amazing places, despite not really going for proper walks or far off the beaten track. It's just a magical place.
The North Yorkshire Moors is right on my doorstep, and I have to completely agree with you. I recently did a 41 mile hike in 13hrs across the Moors called The Lyke Wake Walk, It was nice at parts but it was just a whole lot of the same thing which heavily added to the mental challenge of the walk. I did gain a new level of respect for the moors though.
North Yorkshire Moors can be bleak but personally Liam, I'd say that they are wilder than The Dales if you like a wilderness. Reckon that you are tailor-made for a TV series. :)
I have really enjoyed this series and hearing that Pembrokeshire (my home county) came in at #1 made my day! We know how amazing our home is, but it's always lovely to hear others discovering it's beauty too 😊
Just watched all the National Park videos and loved them. Love the open landscape. I live in northern New England and hiking here you can only see to the next bend unless you get above tree line. Especially loved the food you ate, l need to try the peas and pudding, saw them in the grocery store today.
I'd send that wine back to be honest. I suspect it was corked! 😂 Brilliant stuff Liam. I've been following you for a while so thought I'd post. Great to see you pass 120k subscribers! I love your no nonsense honest approach. Keep up the good work!
That picture at the end Liam of that sunset and the tent and yr silhouette at Pembrokeshire.... that's the biz that is!!.. it's beautiful...I would buy a copy of that and hang it in my living room! So love yr videos.... just perfect!
Congratulations on your first 100,000, and I'm glad you enjoyed your wine! I like your rationale: I guess we've all got an idea in our minds of what constitutes a national park - and lots and lots and lots of human habitation with overcrowded facilities that you have to queue for, doesn't really do it for me, either. Likewise, you do want something to be there, that sets it apart from any other random area of vast emptiness, and so I understand what you're getting at with your use of 'desolate', too! As you probably know, the Scottish Government recently came up with a shortlist of five for a new national park - Scottish Borders, Galloway, Loch Awe, Tay Forest and Ben Nevis & Lochaber - of which the favourite is said to be Loch Awe, though I'm not sure I agree! Galloway is the only part of Scotland I've never been to, because access by public transport is just too difficult and so, with its' dark skies designation, remote, rolling hills and picturesque and historic coastal towns and villages, I rather favour that, myself! Have you any thoughts on the matter at all?
Well done mate .I like to watching your videos .Im traveling with tent a lot too.Few days ago I just come back from Isle of skye ,sleeping on the cliff next to Neist point lighthouse.Greeting from Poland and all the best 👍
Lovely list and comparison.... for me Fort Augustus and Inverness - as I ran the Loch Ness Marathon such a beautiful place - and my most recent run was the Snowdonia Marathon - any where in Snowdonia..... but if you get stuck to carparks.... some only accept credit cards and some only accept cash..... (nightmare) and some pay online .... But I also love Snowdonia
Love your videos mate they really make me want to get out. Travlled 5 hours up to Lake District this weekend and loved it. 2 questions: how do you find the time to do it all (what’s your work)? And how do u find being alone for that long, would’ve loved to do these travels with my now-ex-girlfriend, so am getting used to the idea of being alone!
A year or more ago I commented saying that you will go really far with your UA-cam channel.. I just wanted to remind you of this. As the world can be a difficult place with too much expectation. But you are going the right way Bro... Keep going.... 👍
Thankyou for the content, I've watched all your videos and can still easily rewatch any of them glad to see your channel ever growing can't wait for the next video
Awesome series, thank you for such inspiration. Slightly biased that Pembrokeshire NP was number 1 as I was brought up on the coast there from my teen years. I'm planning a trip for next month to the peak district for some hiking and cycling as that was where my formative years began and I haven't been back 'ome since 1980! Diolch Liam🏴
Well done Liam. So pleased Wales was in the top. Lol. Enjoy your wine. Maybe think of brewing a end of walk wine. Living in Wales with loads of walk ways. Seeing walkers end their walk with a glass in frequent even if it's a pub. Something to think about. X
Wales doesn't sell itself enough...You always hear about Scotland and see their tourist advertisments but Wales is better IMO....Beaches as good as anywhere else in the world... and Epic mountains in the north like Snowdonia..And many hidden gems in mid Wales too
Liam if not already been, i would recommend the Galloway forest park. Only a regional park but certainly bigger and more wild than some of the smaller national ones in England. The midges can be a problem in places but u have the beautiful Galloway coast to escape to if gets too much lol
Ormesby area is well too connected to Yarmouth. If you go a bit more north it is a bit more 'wild'' around Hickling. Yarmouth is the third biggest urban area in Norfolk. It has unemployment as high as Middlesborough or Blackpool by the way.
I live is Scotland mate glad to see Scotland on the list if your visiting again try a camp on conic hill it over looks loch lomand its amazing mate keep up the vids thay make me want to get out and about mate well done 👍
Good video and choices, I live about a 20 minute drive from the Brecon Beacons NP, I can go up behind my house and look one way and see Pen y Fan, look the other on a clear day and see Exmoor NP, can pick out the fields over there when it’s been snowing, spent a lot of time over there in the last 12 years, also I used to spend a lot of time down the Pembrokeshire NP, especially in the Little Haven area during my diving days, been to Snowdonia twice, and Loch Lomond & Trossachs once, Dartmoor haven been to since I was a child and been to the Peak District once, this one I wasn’t keen on, South Downs & New Forest, haven’t been to those since they were designated NP’s, but spent quite a bit of time there as a child/teenager, Brecon Beacons, Exmoor and Pembrokeshire Coast would be my top 3, Beacons(1st, because I’m up there on a weekly basis, possibly move there in the not to distant future, also go outside the NP area up to Rhayader and Epynt, when accessible, it’s a live firing range, but accessible on occasions) Exmoor (2nd, it like the Beacons but the Beacons by the sea) Pembrokeshire Coast (3rd, slightly easier drive than Exmoor TBH, but I like the Rising Sun in Lynmouth). Cracking video
You are so right about Norfolk Broads. Have lived in Norfolk for nearly 30 years and never go there. Give Norfolk another chance one day. Camp out at one of the wilder parts of the coastline. Salthouse, Burnham Overy Staithe, Holkham, Holme Next The Sea....
Liam, do us a favour, if you ever go to the seven sister and beach head on the South Downs, don’t sit in the cliff edge and pitch your tent well away from the edge, I’ve seen on a few occasions huge chunks of cliff just give way.
Really enjoyed these series of videos. If you have the time, money and inclination look forward to seeing similar vids. Those beachy head headlines were actually quite amusing. Cheers.
Loved this vid Liam, like the concept of camping at all the parks. Interesting rating. The broads are definitely best explored by boat, trying to steer one when you have some tins is a right laugh 🤣 Glad you scored the Peak District so highly, its my back yard too. Hope to see u out on the hills at some point ATB 🙎🏻♀️&🐕
Pembrokeshire is 180 miles non-stop of exactly what you experienced. Incredibly beautiful and unspoilt. As someone who has walked and camped all 180 miles know that you could make a series based on walking the entire route.
Im a Pembrokeshire lad and I'm chuffed you chose it but I prefer Snowdonia for wild camping. Both beautiful spots but so are the other 13 national parks. Distinctively beautiful in their own right
The Broads are only really a national park by boat mate, come again and you can find some proper wild places to camp, maybe contact Simon a bloke in the woods a youtuber for a guide ;-).
Good on you young man. Keep going. Ignore what's going on in this crazy world. Distance yourself from it. Be You. Good luck mate. F em. 👍. YOUR LIFE. Live it. 👍. You're an inspiration for the younger generation. Massive respect mate.
I worked in The Loch Lomond and Trossach’s National Park as a Ranger as far as I’m concerned it is the most beautiful place on earth then the Lake District a close 2nd the the Brecon Beacons a close 3rd not much between them in fact I would put them all tied . But being a Scot it has to be Loch Lomond and the Trossach’s .
Youre a brave lad Liam , not your wild travels etc but taking on this rating mularkey. I nearly unsubscribed when you announced #13 (not really) I would have rated it in the top 3 after the LAKES AND #2, but you did it so graciously I watched till the end and realised why I love this channel. youre a nice bloke Liam and this is by far my # 2 you tube channel. Thank you mate have loved the series. May you bring us many more joyous days and Happy trails.
Wales' 3 made your top 5, they are stunning I live just outside the Beacons and 45mins from Pembrokeshire NP. I have a thought why don't you vist/wild camp all the AONB's (Area of outstanding natural beauty) my local is the Gower peninsular. There are 34 AONB's in total there aren't any in Scotland as they don't employ this system but your travels will take you to Northern Ireland and the giants causeway etc.
The Galloway Hills in SW Scotland (dark skies and part of the 7 stanes mountain biking) are trying to get National Park status so hopefully you try it when or if. Michelle
There is no way you could have fully explored Dartmoor from your narrative. Ditto exmoor. Takes years to know the valleys and the high moors. Sound like you did a day trip.
happy to hear Snowdonia at 4 im thinking of travelling there this weekend, all the coastline around wales is outstanding especially all the giant cliffsides
I'm from Hampshire, Southampton and I totally get your opinion on the New Forest. Its beautiful but in the day, loads of traffic and at night if on the coast the Fawley oil refinery takes you out of the landscape as it were.
I''m a solo wild camper/hiker myself, i've been to the majority of the national parks in the UK. While i'm commenting I would like to say Loch Lohmond is such an incredible hike and camp just beautiful. I have watched your Snowdonia video some time back and I would really love to get to that exact little lake you were at is there anyway you could help? i know its hard but any detail would be helpful. Thanks man and i hope you drink all 3 bottles eventually.

And costs a fortune to do . So definitely a no go .

Good on you young man. Keep going. Ignore what's going on in this crazy world. Distance yourself from it. Be You. Good luck mate. F em. 👍. YOUR LIFE. Live it. 👍. You're an inspiration for the younger generation. Massive respect mate.
Enjoy your videos and authentic style, keep it up. What's your football team, Liam?
Love the videos
Don’t live in England but I loved every single one of your videos. Just breathtaking series and look forward to more.
I live in Sheffield so I’m lucky to have the Peak District on my doorstep. It’s my happy place. I love it.
You'll soon be at 1 million! Love the content!
This was another huge challenge completed . But what's next yearq
Totally excellent Liam 👍🏻
Congrats Liam. On to the next challenge. 1mil subs will be here before you know it
Wales' 3 made your top 5, they are stunning I live just outside the Beacons and 45mins from Pembrokeshire NP.
Michelle
I was up at the broads at the weekend trying get around there is a nightmare gave up and came home .
There is no way you could have fully explored Dartmoor from your narrative. Ditto exmoor. Takes years to know the valleys and the high moors. Sound like you did a day trip.
Couldn't agree more with the list. Might be slightly biased as I'm from Pembrokeshire
happy to hear Snowdonia at 4 im thinking of travelling there this weekend, all the coastline around wales is outstanding especially all the giant cliffsides
It's the greatest place. Try the Ogwen valley :)
Norfolk beaches are some of the best in the world.
@@Anonymous-ib8so Lol...Wales is better
Great series, thanks. What is the next thing?
What 2 cups of wine and you done mate . Tut tut tut
think he's a fitness freak most of the time so drinks very little.
I'm from Hampshire, Southampton and I totally get your opinion on the New Forest. Its beautiful but in the day, loads of traffic and at night if on the coast the Fawley oil refinery takes you out of the landscape as it were.
I happened on your channel by chance, i watched a couple of your videos by chance, i subscribed, for me it was a no brainer!
Have you hiked along the Wales Coast Path on the Gower Peninsula? Absolutely stunning part of the country.
Made me hungry talking about the food..!!😅😅😂😂
Have you been to knoydart ?
There’s wild for you !
Do you have the Lanshan 1 or the Lanshan 1 pro? =] Also, congratulations on 100k subscribers, very much deserved!
St David's Pembrokeshire, unbelievable coastal walks, stunning x x x
I''m a solo wild camper/hiker myself, i've been to the majority of the national parks in the UK. While i'm commenting I would like to say Loch Lohmond is such an incredible hike and camp just beautiful. I have watched your Snowdonia video some time back and I would really love to get to that exact little lake you were at is there anyway you could help? i know its hard but any detail would be helpful. Thanks man and i hope you drink all 3 bottles eventually.
