Omg, the market looks so clean and modern. Wow, when i was there in the 70s, it was horrible, just unreal. The smell in the air was really bad. Thank the Lord it's changed. I enjoyed my time there the people then were very nice the food was outside homes making fishball soup noodles and meat on a stick but i never got to eat those candy Hawthorne berries on a stick lol i see them in all the Chinese movies lol so great. I finished watching Snowfall last August and it was amazing, but I hope that there will be season 2 for the series. Because, I want Shen Zhiheng and Mi Lan to reunite at the spring rain or if the red camelia blooms at spring like what Zhiheng promised to Mi Lan. And I remember from one of their interviews, that Nana (the actress who portrayed Mi Lan) wants another season and she also wants them to reunite in the 21st century/modern day and I know that Weiguang (the actor who portrayed Shen Zhiheng) agrees as well.

That was such a sweet lovely episode. The part where they cooked his dishes and it was just constantly adapting and him chopping the meat with 2 knives at 24:44 and her doing it infinitely better lol. Just laughing it off when she gave him the wrong ingredient at 25:19. Trying that insect thing haha and him making her try that duck egg. Nana is so adventurous and willing to try stuff! Such a cutie. And them complimenting each other dishes haha. I loved their discussion of their industry and beginning of their career. That part at 42:36 where GWG says people in their industry only acts for 20 years---I hope he acts forever till he's ready to stop! He's so talented. And her saying she hopes they get to see each other more in the future than how they did in the last 3 years since they finished meeting. They have such a sweet rapport. I hope they remain friends and able to help each other!
