season 2 please !!! 24 episode is not enough for such good chemistry like this. Weiguang is already very handsome, but he looks even more handsome, charming and youthful when he is with Nana, the perfect chemistry.❤

I forgot to mention that the music and editing of music throughout the series was amazing! There was a wonderful GOTHIC feel to the series BUT terrible ending beautifully filmed but awful ending!
I didn’t really feel a romantic feeling between them more caring I felt like he was her mentor. A romance between them wasn’t really explored,their acting was fantastic but the script didn’t have alot of romance for this couple. It was still a good drama I loved the vampire story line fighting scenes costumes cinematography outstanding beautiful shots and saturated colours But kind of a waste without the actual romance they never really told each other how they felt there wasn’t really any romantic or passionate affection between them no kisses very disappointing also the ending sucked!!
I thought their kiss in the jail was way better than most cdrama cold dead fish kisses haha, but yes wished there were more, but I thought it was pretty clear in many episodes that she loved him. And that he loved her too, first how devastated he was the time she died and then he basically told her he loved her at the end of ep 22 when she asked him if he had ever loved anyone before and he at first said no so she was happy and she asked again, really? And then he looked at her and said, perhaps that’s not completely true. And then in ep 23 she asked him to promise that they will never separate any day or night and he hugs her tight and promises her. I think their relationship was more than mentor/mentee even if they didn’t kiss. Anyhow that’s what fanfic is for 😅
They said it had to do with censorship, even the kiss in jail is better in the cut scene. But again they cut it because she was kissing him to feed him blood and the Chinese censor thing didn’t want that to be portrayed. I also wished they had more kisses tho,
He is supposedly to be 100 years old with abnormality(survive on blood), versus a sweet innocent girl. So logically he should be refraining his feeling and passion. However I do agree that for a few scenerios, passionate kisses would had come naturally due to its intensity. Example , when米岚 was shot and dying on the steps. The other, when沈之衡 supposedly to be gone forever during the finale episode. But of course such scene will bring more heart breaking to us.😂
