normally, i don't like music videos that are just the band playing, but i liked the effects & camera angles in this one. there are very few vids that do that for me - not that anyone needs to impress me, of course. great stuff =]
The studio recording actually sounds better than I thought it would compared to the recent live performances. I really like it and am glad to finally hear a studio recording after waiting over a year since I first saw their live video of Hook, Line, and Sinker at Reading. I feel like the waiting paid off. Due to its location on the track listing and the riffs during this song I got Little Monster flashbacks.
Definitely one of my favs from the new album! I'm glad this new album is (I believe) as good as their last. This song has that heavy feel like Loose Change that I love.

I always listen to stuff like lofi hiphop, ect, when I am drawing since its rather chill while I listen to stuff like Royal Blood when lifting, which was what I was doing earlier. Either way it seems you have good taste in music, lol.

I find it funny how each and everyone of their songs make you have this wild rush / thirst for life. sometimes they depict a certain mood and holy shite it's made perfectly to fit it and the second you start listening you're completely hooked. they are one of the reasons I still have soundcloud, I stumbled upon them at the very beginning when they had just 2 songs out and from then onwards they have delivered each and every time
I will always remember the Royal Blood concert I went to at the Ace of Spades in Sac. It was the best moshpit I personally have gone to because it was full of really good people. I got gut punched and lost my breath and before I knew it I was being covered by a giant 7ft dude at the concert and he brought me to the side and asked if I was good. I replied yes and he told me to brace for impact. So he put his arms on my shoulder and sent me in like a battering ram back into the pit. I came out of there bruised and jamming to the music with people that felt like good friends. Still have the shirt I got from the concert too👌🏼
I prefer this over the live version, hands down! It feels more tight, yet still slightly loose and I love the effects on Mike's voice. These things may be subtle, but it makes the song much better, in my opinion!
