What achievements would you want to be added?
kill 2 players or more with one charger shot - kinda hard but possible
One Shot Impale: Splat 2 players or more with one charger shot (Directly based on what @little.puff3 said)
Stay Upset, I'm Better: Splat half or more of the enemy team with a triple splashdown
Not Safe at Home: Stay in enemy base for thirty seconds, splat an enemy player inside of their base during that duration (I just wrote this one because the name is funny)
MAKE IT RAIN: Be the only inkling/octoling on your team to carry the Rainmaker
King of the Hill: Stay on the Tower Control tower for 50 points in the match. (Doesn't have to be at once)
DREAM TEAM!: You and another inkling/octoling combo one another moves creating two main and assist splats from you two specifically!
Squid Squad: Have a team full of only inkling players! (Can be a full team of friends)
Operation Octoling: Have a team full of only octoling players! (Can be a full team of friends)
I'm Not a Secret Agent: Have a team full of players using the full sets of the hero gear, alterna gear, octo gear or order gear (Can be a full team of friends)
As you can see... I want more of this XD

Honestly really wanting achievements in Splatoon 3 and other Nintendo vids after watching this, nice vid!
A couple of achievements I’d personally like to see:
1) Still Swimmin’ - Finish and win a multiplayer game of Turf War or Anarchy Battle without dying
2) Egg-cellent Work - Get at least 200 eggs in a regular Salmon Run shift
3) DeDeDeDeDe - Get Splatted by a Fish Stick in a Salmon Run shift
4) Special Delivery - Get Splatted by a Chinook during a Mothership wave in Salmon Run
5) Truly the Eel Deal - Complete Frye’s boss battle in Story Mode without dying and in under 4 minutes
6) Splat-tastic Shark Tamer - Complete Shiver’s boss battle in Story Mode without dying and in under 4 minutes
7) Phantamanta Payback - Complete Big Man’s boss battle in Story Mode without dying and in under 4 minutes
8) Bear-ly Clocking Out in Time - Complete the final phase of the Alterna Space Center without dying and with over 1 minute remaining
9) After Alterna Perfectionist - Clear After Alterna without dying
we got Steam achievements in Splatoon 3 before GTA 6 🗣️🔥
I think the main reason this game doesn't have "achievements" as you've shown here is because certain achievements (such as "land a kill with a sprinkler) would encourage players to play in a way that doesn't necessarily benefit the objective or in some cases encourages them to avoid the objective or play less optimally. I think this is why they went with a "medals" system that you only find out about after a match has already ended. they want to avoid influencing player behavior in a negative way

They could disable the ability to obtain some of these achievements in Private battles, Anarchy series or X rank.

Old fart: With 10 matches using only gear, weapons and hairstyles that debuted in Splatoon 1.
Tourist trap: On Hagglefish market, stare at the jellyfish running the stands for 30 seconds before trying, and failing to jump over to the stands before falling to you're demise.
You know there's a thing called grass, right? : On X battles, paint over 2500 p and get over 20 splats in the same match.
Own goal: Take the (i forgot what the big boy clam was called) and throw it into your own basket.
🗿: Say fresh to at least 15 people with at least 1 moai head in their locker
Booze cruise: During splatfest, gather up at least 4 fizzbangs. Then use a reefslider to splat at least 2 people at once.
YOU ARE MORE DEVIOUS THAN ME, THAT GRASS CHALLENGE SOUNDS LIKE HELL XD

Head On Head Collision: Splat a player by rolling them over while they splat you the same way
(basically when two rollers collide and kill each other simultaneously)
That render of Calamar used in the thumbnail has to be more popular among youtubers than the actual main trio for Splatoon 3 are 😂 homeboy looks a lil curious and the thumbnail artists lock onto him immediately.

A discord server I'm in has a splatoon 3 achievement system in it and you get special roles

It's weird that splat 3 doesn't have more achievements since the badges kinda fit the bill as a framework for making an achievement system

I don't know if you knsow this but you can change your hair style in the weapon/gear menu. You don't need to do the whole process just to change your hair, unless you wanna change buddy's.

Badges are fun to customize, but this game would be SO MUCH BETTER with achievements!

By definition, aren’t milestones achievements? There are single-player games that have achievements, if provided by the game or the service (Steam, PlayStation, XBox) despite most being considered milestones.

Achievements are a terrible idea, they modify player behaviour and they can technically perform worse. I know because I've been an achievment hunter during the Xbox 360 days. Imagine a player playing SWAT in Halo, one head shot and you are dead, and the achievement is to melee 5 people in a game. You can't do it normally and people will game the system, it's too much of a chore and hassle. A game without achievements means more freedom for the player to play the game the way they intend and not be governed or incentivize by the devs. Achivements are poorly thought out and annoy completionists.
I think one possible remedy is to disable certain achievements from being obtainable in PBs, anarchy series or X rank.
The thrusters do 2 damage per 5 frames
