Since I have been watching football. I have watched Argentina lost finals but I have never seen Argentina played a bad final.
1990 World Cup Final was really, really bad. But then again both Germany and Argentina were bad.
@@detonator2112 Yeah that was just a bad final all around.
@@detonator2112in 1990 they awarded a penalty to Germany, when in fact it wasnt a penalty. Then in 2014 the opposite happened, they didnt award us a penalty when it should ve been awarded. We were robbed.

@@kenopsia6748 Yes. I agree. The 1990 Penalty was a disgrace. So was Klinsmann's dive (Monzon's tackle).
This Argentina is maybe the most versatile football team I have seen. Colombia is in incredible form and they deserve to be in the final, but I believe Argentina will prevail.
Argentina always finds a way, this team is not just Messi, that’s what makes them great. It’s very difficult to beat the heart of a champion.

@@saswatsenapati7870wait, Messi has been playing ?
Yea but Colombia is now battle tested so to speak. They've been beating teams and dominating games, 10 men against Uruguay is not easy, cuz bielsa has Uruguay playing high intensity football. What I love about this match up is that Colombia are fired up and Argentina is a big tournament team that gets it done, they just rise to the occasion.
So Colombia is gonna play worse on Sunday because they cried after winning a semi final? Lmao
It's not about crying. It's about going all out. If you had ever played football in a do or die match in a competition and gave it your absolute everything in the game, then it's almost given that in the next game, you can't top that performance or energy. Fatigue is a very common thing in football. Which is why you would often see clubs performing wonders in champions league and losing the next league game or performing worse. It's because they simply cant replicate that energy after 2-3 days.
yes.
Because Uruguay gave them a hard match and they had to fight a ton harder than Argentina had to v Canada, tons of key players were injured enough that they'll probably not be at 100% by Sunday, they're one man down with a red + add on that they'll be 1 day less rested than Argentina.
The crying comment was mostly to relay that Columbia, with how great they've been so far, didn't fly past Uruguay as easily as many thought and they took a lot of hits heading into the final. Uruguay, at the end especially, gave up on winning and wanted to make it as hard as possible for Columbia to get the next win
It’s not obviously a given that they are gonna play worse, but it’s highly likely that they are not gonna play with the same energy as they did against Uruguay. Fatigue is a real thing and it showed with Uruguay today. Uruguay had to fight there way through Brazil and therefore looked incredibly more disorganized and didn’t go all out compared to the Brazil match, and by the dying minutes, it was clear that Uruguay were all out of juice and basically were in the edge of giving up.
mainly because they've lost left back and left attacking midfielder for the final
the 2nd string is significantly weaker and will impact what the team can do - colombian are already against it in terms of quality and energy, losing 2 key starters is a bridge too far
smart money is on argentina
Im an Argentina fan, but I also played sports my entire life. I believe Colombia has the edge as they have been playing tougher teams. Thats a real thing. BUT, Argentina is the more talented team. Should be a good one
This is Messi and Di Maria last Copa , they aren’t gonna lose this one
Talent is debatable too, James, Richard, Lucho, Arias can match better with Argentina. James cancels Messi out, but who in Argentina can match against the rest? Today? Colombia is much more prepared, Colombia had the better players and has been playing better than anyone in this competition. That takes a lot of talent out Argentina, but with that being said, Sunday needs to take place, and I love my chances against this Argentina. VAMOS COLOMBIA 🇨🇴
As a Colombian but a huge messi fan I think that Colombia are going to win despite Argentina talent. Argentina to me looks rusty but with messi anything can happen
@@jeyjey4046 The leading scorer of the tournament is on Argentina's bench. Julian Alverez has played great and this is Di Marias last tournament. They have lots of talent. Should be a great game.

I think Colombia has been undefeated so long is because of their defense. With 10 men for 45 min Uruguay couldn’t score against them. Attack wins you games and defense wins you titles

As a Colombian fan myself, Colombia have been impressive, beating a weak Panama side 5-0 and a tough Uruguay side down a man 1-0. I haven't quite seen the intensity from Argentina, getting past Ecuador in pens but then controlling Canada 2-0. But then again, Argentina are World Cup champions and defending Copa America champions, so they could turn it up all of a sudden and show the same class they did in Qatar. Diaz and James vs. Messi and a soon retiring Di Maria will be fun to watch. I'm hoping for a fair and thrilling match in Miami on Sunday!

Colombia is on a 27 game unbeaten streak and are at the top of their game. Argentina is the world champion and are defending champions but they’re not on their “A” game. Well Argentina had a 49 winstreak until recently and if it goes to penalties the goalkeeper has never lost a penalty shootout.

The Copa América between Colombia and Argentina will be an interesting game to watch. Colombia are riding on a high note as they’ve gone 28 games without a defeat and they haven’t lost a game in international football in over 2 years and during this period they’ve beaten some of the highest ranked nations in the world (Germany Spain Brazil and now Uruguay). The last time they lost a game was against the they’re playing against in the final. You can say whatever you want about South American football, that’s still an impressive run that they’re on as they’ve had to beat a lot of top ranked teams to maintain their form even if they’re playing (international friendlies, Copa América, qualifiers etc.).
They’re going up against Argentina who are world champions and have had more trophies won than games lost in the last 3 years and even after winning the World Cup, they’re on the brink of winning another international trophy to cap off one of the most dominant runs we’ve ever seen from a team in international football even if they’ve had to scrape away wins and rely on penalties to get the joke done for them. It would be great Colombia wins the Copa América because going into this tournament they were in red hot form and they’ve shown no signs of slowing down, they’ve been the best team and the thing about them is that they play with a lot of energy and intensity which is what we see from South American teams their players have technical skills and tenacity meaning that in 1v1 matchups they have a good chance at winning a lot of battles whether it’s in attack and defense. As good as they’ve been, Argentina are a team who you should be backing in a final that they’re in and that’s because of their hunger and form and their winning mentality is on another level because by their standards they could do better as we haven’t always seen the best version of them, at the end of the day that doesn’t matter in major tournaments especially if you continue to do what counts which is win games and they know how to get results in different ways and that’s where Lionel Scaloni deserves a lot more praise than what he gets. I have a feeling that if the game is level after 90 minutes, Argentina will win on penalties to secure another major trophy and if that happens, Colombia will remain unbeaten since historically speaking they don’t count penalty shootouts towards actual defeats if the game is tied after regular time. Anyways it’ll be an interesting yet scrappy game to watch between 2 in form teams as Argentina are the last team to have beaten Colombia in a game in international football which was 2 years ago.
Man... I dunno. If Messi makes a play or two, Argentina are the favorites. But if he only walks around, shooting over the bar every chance he gets? I agree with you. Colombia will win in regulation. 2-1. That's my prediction. Bet.
excelente
Sir this is a Burger King.
Fair and balanced takes!
"have had more trophies won than games lost in the last 3 years" they have actually only lost 2 games the last 5 years..65 games. against saudi arabia and a couple of month ago against uruguay
I am not sure momentum is on Colombia side. Argentina won everything with this coach and a lot of the same players.
They aren’t really trying to win any game 5-0. Argentina gets their goal or 2 and then they dedicate the rest of the game to defending. I personally want Argentina to continue to attack and try to get more goals, but Scaloni gets the results so he’s obviously doing something right.
Colombia is a new team! Colombia's soccer has broken that cycle of stagnation. Colombia has transcended!
They have. They’re playing great right now. Should be a good game on Sunday
I heard the same things in ‘94 when Valderama was captain. 😵💫
Not yet. Just one more game. We gotto win Sunday against 🇦🇷 and Conmebol. Let’s go 🇨🇴 campeón 🏆
It is called football @merican idiot
@@joanriano2559 LMFAO here we go 🤦🏻♂️
The same Conmebol that awarded ecuador a penalty and the opportunity to beat Argentina? Hahah ok
Argentina will come out victorious once again Vamos Argentina 🇦🇷 🏆🏆🎖️🎖️🎖️
Argentina play to the strength of d opponent's
They will definitely prevail past Colombia comes Sunday 👌👌
Fact.. That's what most people don't understand.. Argentina play based of who they face.
You are a joke. Ecuador had Srgentina on the ropes.
Win or lose messi has completed football
@@saadtheman1 46 TITLES👍🏻🏆🇦🇷💥‼️
Cristiano fan's save some more tears for the finals.
Messi rigged the ball when it goes inside the goal net
@@Naimedclaiming haha.. The theories get more creative everytime. If cristiano had just a lil of this creativity, he would be a much better player.
😭
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Messi fans are gonna cry when you lose and have no more success in football for the next 20 years. Your time is over. You choked in an easy region and only won 1 copa America

Ale is the finest commentator on Espn and I'd argue, the best there is. He knows football inside out. Would be a great coach.
He’s the most clueless commentator I’ve ever had the displeasure of listening to. He knows as much about football as a meerkat.
He’s very good. He always explains things so clearly.
@@AnonN-sr6uu Truth.
True
He is good, but he comes up very hard, and that takes away the willingness to listen to him
Shaka manages to take attention in the room because of how calm he is making his points
The Mexican guy in the middle didnt get the point the other guys are making: based on trends, we've seen Argentina overcome final challenges and show their strength despite the athleticism of the opposite team like France in the world cup or Brazil in last Copa America, but since we havent seen that yet from Colombia as this is their first final in recent history, so its hard to bet against Argentina. That doesnt mean Colombia can't win....actually that have a bigger chance based on their performance, however, betting on the final winner you have to consider all factors mentioned by the guys, they said it all.
Well said! And that was precisely the point
He’s not Mexican
So many great performances by Columbia in that game. Mojica was a brick wall, amazing.
Argentina 🇦🇷 win its there time. It’s Messi time. I wonder Which team will have more fans at the game.
How are you using one match against equador to juge argentina
Please keep getting Messi pissed!! ULL know karma again!!
Excellent conversation. Love the Casey's "American" view mixed with the other guys (Herc is American, but still a lovely latin hybrid). Well done ESPN FC
Scaloni has a habit of subbing of his backline for no good reason. I hope he lets lisandro and romero play full game and not sub in otamendi or other unecessary changes.
Like valderrama said Colombia Argentina final Colombia gana 2-1
And where is Valderrama from?
I do not know who will win, but the cololmbian team has a lot of depth... Mina, Sinisterra, Carrascal, Quintero, Asprilla, Arias and Borja,... we will have to wait an see.
You already forgot about Angel Di Maria and his history in finals
Colombia missing 2 guys in the left side and James left hurt .. ain’t deep for the final
Rios and james aren't missing the final, only right back muñoz will be out@copizz9558
@@danny8 James will for sure be playing but he won’t be 90 minutes fit. Rios is out bro, quit lying to yourself lol. Di Maria is about to be a nightmare for Colombias right side. Final score 4-1 Argentina

This should be the futbol americas crew going forward. Id watch if it was about liga mx, mls, brasil serie a, primera, copa libertadores.
Vamos, camaradas, viva Argentina 🇦🇷.
Hmmmmmm Argentina will go for the results on Monday
Argentina will have the full stadium in Miami supporting them. It will be like a home game. Vamos Argentina. Estamos contigo.
no ,do you know how many Colombians live in Miami ?
@@jaimealex6723 Entire Miami will be wearing the blue and white. It's Messi's second home. Dibu will have another fantastic game. Argentina wins 3-0.
@@jonp341 Para Boludo... there are way more Colombians in Miami. A lot of Boludos too but I'm pretty sure Hard Rock Stadium will be yellow.
Do not underestimate the massive population of Colombians in Miami...

Lol Herc is such a clown. There will be more Colombians then Argentines at the game mijo. There are more Colombians in South FL than any other Latin American country.
I'm Honduran and I will be at the match rooting for Colombia wearing my Once Caldas jersey .Real ones remember the 2004 Copa Libertadores Champs!!!
🎉🎉❤❤❤Messi still goat no matter what win or lose now they achieve back to back win Copa and worldcap
If Messi and Argentina wins the Copa América final on Sunday, Ronaldo fans need to save their tears cry and all everything rigged 😂😂😂😂😂😂
They’re already saying it
BUT BUT BUT THEY GOT TO THE FINAL OFF BEATING TRASH TEAMS
Yeah, well, Portugal got the easiest group out of the Euros and Copa combined and yeah look what happened the second you had to play some quality? Portugal gets knocked tf out by a weaker France than Argentina beat in the world cup.
True brother HAHAHA 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It is rigged, there's no denying it, just as there is no denying Messi is a greater player than Cristiano. Both can be true.
@@jonathanc.8424 It's quite easy to deny it, where is the rigging? And how? For what?
The biggest question is who's the referee?
Asking who is the free so you can start preparing your theories and excuses before the final
Brazilian Raphael claus will be the referee
I have no doubt Argentina will find a way to win, but we shouldn't overlook Colombia. Argentina will have to be solid at the back and in the midfield.
This could easily go to penalty kicks. Both teams are very good. It’ll be a game of the century
Columbia won't win penalty
Keep the faith Argentina
There are 2 million colombians in florida how u could think they lose oportunity of see a win like that
They have more Argentines supporters
@@lexkanyima2195 Have no sense

Agree, Di Maria isn’t being talked about and this is last game. Argentina is Sparta in this match. They have the rest, the finals experience, albeit the pressure is on them but they embrace the pressure and produce the wins. World Cup and current Copa American champions. Will be a great match.
Angel D maria last game. All im going to say....
Yet the U.S. were favourites to win it as host. 😅😅😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Us were not favorites dope
Colombia en Miami es local. The amount of Colombians in Miami is insane and they will bring the fire🔥
The amount of argentines is crazy
Colombians will go home sad
I wish they also discuss Argentina’s issues about being in the easier side of the bracket. They barely have faced adversity against teams and Canada + Ecuador have struggled scoring goals. This is completely the opposite from Colombia who scored 5 against Panama, scored 1 against Uruguay and Brazil, then 3 against Costa Rica. They haven’t faced a tough team in a while and the final will show an experienced Colombia that went through the toughest moments.
No team is more experienced than arg side in whole world rt now
So you want Argentina to face the same opponents in every Copa Americas? In 2021 Copa America, Argentina played against top teams like Uruguay and Chile in the group stage. Argentina played against Colombia in the semi final and played against Brazil in the final.
@@rahatmahmud5435 Of course you can’t take away their wins. But what I’m saying is that they haven’t faced a proper attacking team like Colombia so far in this tournament. Ecuador was the closest to it and they almost got eliminated in extra time.
The way colombia ferociously defended with 10 men vs Uruguay coming out to the ball everytime it went to the midfield, not allowing any space. Forcing it out wide, Uruguay has no winger play. Argentina have everything. Should be epic
Argentina home team in miami? I dont think herc has been to miami lately
Lmao Miami is filled with Colombians.
Have you seen messi in America?
It's because Messi plays for Miami.
Penaldo fans tears incoming 😂
Maradona GOAT as never needed lottery penalties to win a World Cup
I think Messi is also very much motivated as it is Di Maria last game and could be even his last final with Arg. He will give everything to win and same with Di Maria. They going to play like world cup final. That Argentina team no one can win at this moment. 5-0
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Argentina was on a very long unbeaten run going into the WC, the first match is loss, a reminder of how it feels to lose.... this is why Argentina wins the WC... Now what makes you guys feels as if Columbia going to be unbeaten even after the Final? Columbia going to feel the worst loss ever!!! On an unbeaten streak to lose in a final sad!!
SI SE PUEDE 🇨🇴🇨🇴
"The easiest bracket" seems that Colombia was playing 1970 Brazil, 1998 France and 2010 Spain and Argentina was against me and my cousins. Come on, Colombia played a good team as Uruguay, and a easy team as Panamá. Not that much harder than Argentina's bracket
Argentina are world champions
Very good point about Messi been "at Home" in Miami I am an Argentine living in New England and we when to see Messi with Inter Miami vs the Revs at Gillete Stadium and Oh my God! so many people wit the Messi Jersey from Inter and The National Team it was Surreal and Yes Florida is Home of a Big Colombian Community I lived in Miami all together 3 years Argentine community is big as well but the fact of Messi and last Dance for Di Maria will make all the difference VAMOS ARGENTINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Colombia was impressing, but Argentina are very hard to score against. I still got Argentina.
