Well Metal came from Classical music. Even electronic music came from Classical Music.
Most classical composers would be metalheads. All those classical pieces translate well into metal. Listen to Vivaldi's 4 (well 3) Seasons performed by At Vance for example.
i think he would be more into jazz or art rock...

For those of you who are old enough to remember "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure", Bill & Ted travel back in time and Among other famous historical figures, brings Ludwig Van Beethoven back to the 20th century, in which the venerable composer finds himself in an instrument store at a mall in, CA. A Mall In which he gets himself thrown out of said store Whilst, composing a new piece, that piece was a "Heavy Metal Symphony" for those of you that have not seen this movie, I recommend finding and watch this oldie but goody Sci-fi Comedy film. And hear Beethoven's inner Metal head. Did I mention that this film has a sequel which is just as good as the first one, Rare for a sequel to shine as brightly as the original Film. And I 100% agree with Chyrosran22 that Beethoven would've been a total Metal head were he alive today.
