Haha thanks for ur reaction sis! I’m actually Cora (beatboxer) the other girl is actually Hannah! But thank u so much I’m glad u liked it! And citizen queen is currently on world tour with ptx💕
Cora’s the beatboxer, Kaedi’s the bass, Hannah’s the blond one, Kaylah’s the one who’s hair looks a bit red (it’s not just me right?) and Nina’s the one with the headband. Just so you know :)
Ok, so the group is as follows: Hannah - the blonde lead Nina - the little "spitfire" lead Kaylah - the sultry lead that led the TLC songs Cora - the beatboxer, tiny girl with white shirt and hair up, (also sings alto when not beatboxing) Kaedi - the bass, the larger girl who did the leg dance toward the end Cora and Kaedi attended Acapella Academy, which is a sort of boot camp for high schoolers interested in performing a Capella. The concept for Acapella Academy (known as ACA) was imagined by Avi Kaplan, who was then contacted by Rob Dietz of Glee fame who wanted to come on board, and they teamed up with PTX's arranger, Ben Bram. Then, the group Citizen Queen was formed by Scott Hoying of Pentatonix, Ben Bram and another ACA staff member, Shams Ahmed. They are currently opening for Pentatonix at selected shows on their world tour. Also, they do an AMAZING version of Never Enough from the Greatest Showman! Please react to that when you get a chance...
Fun fact: All our loved Scott Hoying from Pentatonix put this group together and arranged this one and some oher stuff they have done! =D Also yeah. They are opening at some of Pentatonix shows on their tour
Just so you know, Cora is the beatboxer with braids, Nina is the "fierce, spitfire" one with the hair handkerchief, Hannah is the one with blond brown hair and blue tube top, Kaylah is the one with the demin long pant one piece and kaedi is the one with the ripped jeans! Love your reactions and glad you got to see them at least once! :) and they are going on tour with PTX!
Feels like this got re-uploaded. Obligatory mention that Scott from Pentatonix made this group and they do open for him. Also: Tituss Burgess coverin Cyndi Lauper Time After Time
So names for these girls are: (Pause at 4:54) from left to right Nina (soprano) Kaylah (alto) Hannah (mezzo-soprano) Kaedi (bass/female tenor) Cora (alto/beatboxer) Hope that helps! Love your videos!
Yeah they're pentatonix's sister, on same label, produced by Scott Hoying and friends, and they're joining on ptx's tour (axtually since their last christmas tour) They're Scott Hoying's child!!!!!
LOVE THEM. Thank you so much for reacting to them!! Their other videos are all extremely good too, and yes, they are opening for PTX!! Seeing them in Orlando next Saturday and I'm beyond excited :) Also, a guide to who's who: Nina is their soprano, she's wearing the white bandana Hannah is the one who you noted has the bright voice I think, she's the tallest one who led "Work From Home" Kaylah is the one wearing the jumpsuit, she kinda does a little bit of everything and I love her runs Cora is their beat boxer, the one in the white crop top (she really shines in their "No Tears Left to Cry" cover if you're interested) Kaedi is their bass, the one in the ripped jeans, I refuse to believe that she's human Hope this helps!! Love all your videos btw :)
Haha, Scott from Pentatonix and PTX’ arranger Ben actually formed this group, and they arranged this mashup for them as well. And these girls are in fact opening for PTX :D Check out their cover of No tears left to cry, it’s pretty good too. Also, I highly recommend Superfruit’s empire medley and defying gravity. And PTX’ live performance of AHA at the Singapore star vista, and their cover of Meghan Trainor’s NO. All of these are a must, can’t miss! Love your reactions, thank you.
Okay, Nina is the girl with long black hair with the killer voice, Kaedie is the African American Low voice beat boxer, Cora is the tiny amazing beat boxer with braids, Hannah is the tall blond in the shorts, Kayla is the tall African American with the amazing voice. They are amazing and are now on tour with Pentatonix. These guys are insane.
Thanks for FINALLY reacting to Citizen Queen!! If you watch the credits after the video ends, you will be introduced to the group produced by Scott Hoying (Pentatonix). They have others like No Tears Left to Cry and Never Enough that you will LOVE!
💢YOU NEED TO WATCH Citizen Queen videos till the END!! You get an introduction to each of the girls!!! 💯This is Scott Hoying's brain child... Scott from PTX.. They are currently opening for PTX on their tour on selected dates. ⭐
Had never heard of them but will be seeing Pentatonix in Tacoma next week and they are opening along with Rachel Platten so looked them up... happily glad I did! Can’t wait to see them live :)
I think the tiny beatboxer and the smooth bass were discovered in A Cappella Academy that was started by Avi Kaplan and Ben Bram from Pentatonix. Scott Hoying and Ben Bram formed Citizen Queen and do some/all of the arranging.
So I just found out that Scott arranged this (from the comments) and Idk why but that made me so happy!! Like we all know Scott is an amazing singer, energetic leader, and writes his own music, but the fact that he is an awesome role model and father figure for these girls is so sweet. How is one person so perfect? Please share the perfection with the rest of us!
That was AMAZING!! Another group for me to subscribe to! I discovered Voctave from these videos and I adore them! And I really like these girls. They did so awesomely!!
Since you’ve been analyzing lots of Pentatonix, Voctave, and now Citizen Queen (who I saw open for Ptx on their Christmas tour this last year, they’re GREAT), I highly suggest the Swingles! They’ve been around since the 60’s and was formed by Ward Swingle, it was 8 singers jazz riffing on Bach fugues and of course they do MUCH more than that now, so considering you like the three above groups, you’ll LOVE the Swingles :):):)
I really fell in love with these girls and their version of NEVER ENOUGH! You gotta review that one. Prob redundant now that you’ve reviewed this one of there’s but at least check out their cover of that song. You can really get a sense of their voices on that one.
Fun fact! Scott from Pentatonix along with Ben Bram (ptx's producer/arranger) arranged and manage citizen queen, and they ARE opening for PTX on their world tour! They just sold out MSG! yeah that's it
Funfact: they are opening for some of the shows during the PTX The World Tour. I was amazed when I saw their first video (No Tears Left to Cry), and they just keep getting better. Their Never Enough cover is AMAZING. My grandma cries everytime she hears Kaylah sing that song. Also, they go through who is who at the end of each video, which should help you match names to faces :)
;💥You should watch till the end of their videos you will see an introduction to them...❣️They are Scott Hoying's babies....Scott from Pentatonix!! He co-found them along with Ben Bram and Sham....They open for PTX..💥
I'm pretty sure at the end of the video it puts their names next to their face :) also the reason they are a sister group to PTX is that Scott and Ben Brams (Pentatonix' arranger) created the group :D
Never heard of these wonderful girls but they really good! Thanks for introducing them to me 👍 great mashup. Tlc fan love waterfall 😍 great reaction as always 💖👍
They are opening for PTX which is amazing!!! I saw them at the first show of tour and they song exactly the same live!! Scott Hoying and Ben Bram actually founded the group and help them arrange!
Or to the original! Or maybe a comparison? I thought pentatonix's version, though very beautiful and well executed, missed the emotion and incredible acting in Ben Platt's performance of the song.
I can incredible highly recommand Peter Hollens "Epic Disney Villains Medley" feat. Whitney Avalon to review.. It's an extreme brilliant chosen medley and both slay their parts. There is so much creativity and both could easily be singing for Disney. I'd love to hear ur opinion on it.
In the end of the video you have all their names (with faces) Kayla is the taller black girl Kaedi is the smaller black girl Hannah is the blond one Cora is the girl in white, the beatboxer Nina is the fierce one xDD
Very shocked I'm only hearing about Citizen Queen's today. They're such a wow group! Different tones, colours, sizes, heights and beauty. Very exciting and talented group that I now need to research.
I really appreciated your critique of singers. You explain how they sing and what kind of range they have. In short when say I like that. You say it’s great he’s getting vocals by doing this. Language oh language I would you do a critique on sabaton any song from the war to end all war
Yes, their names are Kaylah, Hanah, Nina, Cora, and Kaedi. Kaedi is the one with the ripped jeans and a white shirt with a jean jacket. Hannah is the one with the light jean shorts and the blue crop top. Nina is the one with the blue romper and a white bandana. Kaylah has a blue jumpsuit on and she has red-ish hair. Lastly, Cora has a white crop top and light blue jean shorts. Nina, Hannah, and Kaylah are the lead singers, Cora is the beatboxer, and Kaedi is the bass.
Scott Hoying of Pentatonix sharing the wealth.... He was involved in the composition of the group and the arrangement. I am not sure whether he is managing them or not.
If you’re looking for suggestions, I’d definitely give Sam Robson’s a cappella arrangements a try! If I had to suggest one to start with it’d probably be either his arrangement of “I Have Nothing” that he did with LaVance Colley, or his solo arrangement of “Out There” from Hunchback of Norte Dame, but they’re all pretty awesome!
my goodnesss so good that Cora the beat boxer saw this reaction and made a comment when you called Hannah Cora you are watched by the artists yopu react to this means Tara must know what you are talking about
Thank you so much! I have been trying to have someone react to them. I y Think they are awesome. Please react to their cover of Never enough.it will give you the goosebumps
I saw some "making of" and the girls were saying the heels were killing them when they were rerunning the song over and over and over again so everytime I see this video I think of their poor legs

IKR it’s amazing! 💕 always have loved ptx(although I miss Avi so much) but I now find a love for citizen queen too! I also love voice play 😀
Let's not forget Shams Ahmed, another amazing a cappella arranger
Don’t forget Ben Bram lol
Ben Blair wait REALLY?? YASSSS
Cora’s the beatboxer, Kaedi’s the bass, Hannah’s the blond one, Kaylah’s the one who’s hair looks a bit red (it’s not just me right?) and Nina’s the one with the headband.
Just so you know :)
I thought I was the only one who seen the red in her hair! 😅
I saw husband instead of headband..
@@chimpark4006?
Sonic The Hedgehog Fan 29 yes...?
It is not just you Kayla's hair is reddish
Ok, so the group is as follows:
Hannah - the blonde lead
Nina - the little "spitfire" lead

OMG yesss
Cool🙂🙂😊💗
Nina Nelson cover beat boxer when cora Isabel lead sign
I love how she got every single one of their names mixed up lol
It's a brand-new group to her. It's OK for people to learn things.
You didn't get who the bass and who the beatboxing was, their no tears left to cry cover is a much better introduction to them imo
Bless this comment!! I know this video blew up, but NTLTC is a lil under-appreciated against it... Both are still dope.
Fun fact: All our loved Scott Hoying from Pentatonix put this group together and arranged this one and some oher stuff they have done! =D Also yeah. They are opening at some of Pentatonix shows on their tour

So names for these girls are:
(Pause at 4:54) from left to right
Nina (soprano)
Kaylah (alto)
Hannah (mezzo-soprano)
Kaedi (bass/female tenor)
Cora (alto/beatboxer)
Hope that helps! Love your videos!
Hannah is not an alto though
@@peacendpola23 well, mezzo-soprano ahaha
They introduce each member at the end of the video with a clip so you can see who is who, just so you know.
Yeah they're pentatonix's sister, on same label, produced by Scott Hoying and friends, and they're joining on ptx's tour (axtually since their last christmas tour)
They're Scott Hoying's child!!!!!
You're the sweetest, beautiful reaction, thank you Tara girl..
You always make me appreciate music and meet new and amazing groups! Thank you.

They’re actually opening for Pentatonix on their tour! I went to the San Antonio show and they were amazing!

This community needs a name. I vote that we get called Taraettes 😍
Please, Please! You absolutely have to watch “Shallow” cover by Pentatonix. It blew me away. Please!
Also very fun to watch, within this kind of music/entertainment, Next town down with evolution of boybands.
Kaedi is AMAZING!
I just want to say they really picked some amazing girl groups and not leaving out Danity Kane made my heart smile
Citizen Queen is a great girl group they remind me of Pentatonix Their Mash up of those Girl Groups songs were very cool.
If you’re looking for suggestions, I’d definitely give Sam Robson’s a cappella arrangements a try!
