When my toddler finished treatment after 2.5 years we were also very emotional. You’re happy that it’s over, but you look back and realize you were in survival mode most of the time just getting by! Then the feelings of the security of the chemo your child was once getting stopping creeps in. That line of defense against everything. The feelings and “what-if’s”. The first labs post treatment were very nerve wracking, but the further out you get it does kind of ease up. Happy to say this October is 4 years out and next year at 5 years we can declare her clinically cancer free! Praying and manifesting that for Kendall. Kendall you truly are a warrior!! Much like my daughter you have grace, and grit and determination and your ability to joke and be lighthearted is amazing! I always look forward to what jokes you have for us every video!! Thank you for being brave and sharing your story for others to give them hope and show them what a true warrior princess looks like!! 💛🎗️

Please tell me what.was the type of tumor your cousin had. My niece's daughter has now had a surgery for brain tumor. We are not given much hope even though they removed her tumor. I am relieved to hear your cousin is now 17. She is now only going to be 3.

Whether a child or adult, the emotions can be extreme and are completely normal, my husband has been through cancer treatments and can't believe the feelings of loss when finished all the treatments, you don't understand the feelings and that is ok and normal, please understand, unless people have gone through it they will never understand and that's ok too, Kendall you are a warrior❤

My momma beat cancer, too, but waited too long to take out the ports because she was dreading another surgery and hers ended up getting infected and she passed from that infection. Please get them out as soon as you can.
I have been following Kendal for a little while now and I'm astounded how such a frail little girl takes all this treatment in her stride. I have been watching a little 2 year old here in the UK who at 9 months old was diagnosed with high risk AL leukemia and watch every week seeing how he is doing. Now he's home following a bone marrow transplant last year he is now 2 yes old and thankfully he is doing well but like you and your family Teddies mum and dad have been the bravest parents I know. I am blessed that none of my children, grandchildren ever dealt with such a devastating illness however, my 3 year old great granddaughter was diagnosed with a duplex kidney which means she had a small deceased third kidney that was living off a healthy kidney so she had to have both the deceased one and the healthy one removed leaving her with one kidney. Fortunately she is completely healthy now at 14 and thriving. I really hope I can keep watching and see both Kendall and the little lad Teddy Bridge (see ...life with the bridges) get well soon and go on to live happy healthy lives xx bless you all
Kendall is so special. I continue to pray that the day comes soon that your family can truly breathe a sigh of relief and celebrate deep within that it is done!

Exactly. My son had leukemia in his teens and during it I was more cerebral than anything. Afterwards was when the emotions n trauma of it all hit.

I am blessed that none of my children, grandchildren ever dealt with such a devastating illness however, my 3 year old great granddaughter was diagnosed with a duplex kidney which means she had a small deceased third kidney that was living off a healthy kidney so she had to have both the deceased one and the healthy one removed leaving her with one kidney. Fortunately she is completely healthy now at 14 and thriving. I really hope I can keep watching and see both Kendall and the little lad Teddy Bridge (see ...life with the bridges) get well soon and go on to live happy healthy lives xx bless you all
