You know when you enter a camera mode in a game and the camera moves around with a total lack of momentum, that is what the movement in this game reminds me of. I would have loved to see some inertia or some partial effects that show you are in water. Not for me but thanks for the review 👍🏻
I had backed this on Kickstarter and forgotten about it entirely until I got an email through about it today. I've only played a little of it so far and it seems fine. Nothing groundbreaking, but it's been okay so far. I'd say more along the lines of wait for a sale, but that's just me. Enjoyed your review nonetheless!
Just lots of little issues plus the bug really hurt this title in every category. www.patreon.com/AngryCentaurGaming If you want to help ACG keep reviews coming feel free to become a Patron.
InnerSpace is colorful and vibrant in terms of it's visuals. It definitely has a pleasing aesthetic to it. It's also calm and relaxing much like ABZU. Then again, ABZU was immersive, it had a sense of exploration and simplicity was one of it's greatest strengths. I wouldn't say that I hate InnerSpace. However, it seems lacking when compared to a game such as ABZU. As a result, it just doesn't offer much to the player unfortunately. For $20, there are far better options out there. I may give it a shot, but only after the price drops a bit. Thanks once again for another great review. I really appreciate it!
This game looks like it could have seriously benefitted from a more vibrant color palette. Some pinks, sunsetty colors, and more lighting effects could have made it more dreamlike along with softer sounds and music.
You should review subnautica which is coming out officially on the 23rd. Best underwater game I’ve ever played. Honestly, just one of my favorite games.
ACG. I got a fever yesterday and just dreamt the weirdest thing and I’ve been so confused. I couldn’t sleep and got on yt and this was in my subscriptions and looked like my fever dream and you basically just explained to me what happened to me. Thanks! Lol
You were probably gonna get a thumbs-up anyway Karak, but after 'Like my mom said when I was born "its not really a good one"', you definitely earned one.
when I first heard of that, I was wondering if it was based on the movie Inner Space, whose concept would actually be a very interesting game. think about it, an open world game that takes place in a human body.
TYLER ourada I just googled “inner space” to Cuz I forgot Dennis quads name...then I seen a inner space “game” too next to movie...so I was instantly excited...not cuz the movie was that great, but a game...damn, that wood be awesome of done well!?
Darn, I was looking forward to this one too. I'll have to check a few other reviews out but it's looking like I'll be passing based on several things you said in the review here. Thanks ACG.
Man, that camera/movement on the game makes me dizzy (inner ear issue). Sucks cause I was interested in this one, oh well. Thanks for the great review!
Looks like they've neglected the camera a little bit when developing, which I think would really help the game. It looks really rigid, when you'd want it to be loose almost like you didn't have complete control over it. Letting the camera drag a little bit would really help and make it feel a bit more dramatic. They could probably patch that in and have a better game. That's what I'd do anyway.
I was on the fence about this one, but after seeing your review, it doesn't seem like something I would enjoy for more than 3 minutes. Thanks ACG for another awesome review.
I saw some screenshots and had some interest in this, but after watching the gameplay here...wow. the lack of defined shadows makes it look so, so flat. And that sound design was underwhelming. It's a shame, this looks like something I'd enjoy in theory, but the execution is lacking.
I had this on my wish list for awhile and was really fucking looking forward to it... It doesn't look at all like I thought it would be.... Thanks for the review dude.
I wish developers collaborated with their alma mater's biology department to do an innerspace inside the body journey. I want to be a molecule and learn bio 101 all over again.
Is this your first Never Touch? I've not seen all your reviews, but it seems like a surprisingly rare score from you. A lot of times even when you're dunking on a game it still manages a Deep Deep Sale. Anyhow, another great video.
Abzu, Journey and especially Flower, rely heavily on fluid movement to make an impact. This game just looks so bland. I'm sorry you had to play this, man.
The game would have been cool if it just focused on being a disorienting yet fun and relaxing experience, but collecting the relics becomes so tedious, it isn't relaxing or fun.
Sometimes I want to down-vote a review video because I don't like the game. Then I realize that it was a good review because it made me see I don't like the game so I should up-vote it.
Scary how this kind of game seems like something that would have been huge a generation ago, wirh fixes, but today it's a busted "who the hell put this out" mess. Flying through space has to be one of the best uses of a graphics engine, but make it plausible and give a bro some idea of what the space is there for or else it's just the Acid Queen sequence from Tommy and I am stuck wondering if Tina Turner won or lost.
"It's like a colourblind person living in a world where everyone has made puzzles where they ask you what numbers are hidden inside the dots" As a colourblind person, i recognise this feeling :( Not sure if this is the game for me then!
I'm always reluctant to buy exploration games like these, as they can go in either direction. I might get lucky and stumble upon a game with really, really fun mechanics and new ideas that no other game has. Or I might waste money on a game that's confusing from the start and just gets worse from there. InnerSpace seems to be the latter, so I guess I'll skip it, like you recommended. Thanks for the review!
Can you even rent games anymore? Blockbuster and other stores like it are-nonexistant and you cant rent them digitally for some reason. Would be great if you could
Hey Karak, if you're still being demonetized, I'm still skipping Ads before your videos. Let me know. Hey UA-cam, I watch Ads before other videos, but Karak gives me great content, and if you still payout to Angry Joe, Projared, Boogie, Total biscuit, Dreamcastguy and others, then you should give Karak his fair share of Ad revenue. Don't be an obtuse corporation covering itself in a cloak of impenetrable arbitrary rules. Don't be evil.
ACG Nice. Ok. I'm back to learning about how great Lineage 2 is on mobile. Thanks for the review. Hope you can review the new DBZ game. Love the show. Game looks like an actual episode.
"Just like my mom said when I was born. It's not really a good one"
Lol, I died.
I died too, this guy is hilarious
@@AdrianJimenez70 no he's not. he is a lame piece of shit
Dat 9:40 cut off when the 10:01 would have been so easy to reach. Good guy ACG strikes again.
Sup brother hope your doing awesome!
Skill Up not like he can rely on ad revenue anyways
That’s how we know we can take him seriously.
Skill Up Hope to see you back on the international podcast at some point!
what's the difference?
You know when you enter a camera mode in a game and the camera moves around with a total lack of momentum, that is what the movement in this game reminds me of. I would have loved to see some inertia or some partial effects that show you are in water. Not for me but thanks for the review 👍🏻
One of the best reviewers out there. Honest and informative.
thanks man spread the word or maybe check out patreon

Holy Diver? Awesome album
:) only some of us will get the reference
You can see his stripes but you know hes clean!
Oh don't you see what I mean, Gotta get away
Only all of everyone.
Holy Diver, yeah. Got shiny diamonds. Like the eyes of a cat in the black and blue.

“Reviews that aren’t two minutes long..” I love that there’s 2 minute long ign review on my sidebar as I’m watching this
just chiming to say you're one of the best reviewers EVER, so glad you're still here!!
thanks

Iw wish too ACG will make reviev. I have hope for it coz i got a feeling he may like it, but got no confirmation will he do it will or not :(
ACG. I got a fever yesterday and just dreamt the weirdest thing and I’ve been so confused. I couldn’t sleep and got on yt and this was in my subscriptions and looked like my fever dream and you basically just explained to me what happened to me. Thanks! Lol
lol
Dafuq? Same exact thing for me :o
What no Martin Short and Dennis Quaid?
nope sadly
My first thought when I saw the title and I was watching Dragonheart.
AWESOME movie
Damn, beat me to it. No Meg Ryan either unfortunately.
Always look forward to your reviews! Keep up the great work! :)
thanks
"Celestial Outer Belly Button" is the new name of my prog rock band and out first single is called "Inside"
You were probably gonna get a thumbs-up anyway Karak, but after 'Like my mom said when I was born "its not really a good one"', you definitely earned one.
lol thanks
Thanks ACG! I like how it looks, but other than that, it really doesn't offer much!
thanks
"It's not really a good one", your unique sense of humor is...unique. Great review as always.
since owning the switch you have made my life so much easier when it comes to buying games for it or not.
glad I could help spread the word!

Man, that camera/movement on the game makes me dizzy (inner ear issue). Sucks cause I was interested in this one, oh well. Thanks for the great review!
not just you man
i think the blue is supposed to make you feel calm and serenity
When I saw the title I was really hoping for a Journey-inside-a-human-body experience, but alas. Magic School Bus: The Game ain't there yet.
Should do one on kerbal space program enhanced for console
I actually enjoyed the game, and fun fact, water is blue so... surprise! There’s blue!

Last video before i sleep its 6am! thanks, Karak
yep!
Humble bundle anyone?
Yes looking forward to Shadow Warrior 2!!

Thanks for the review dude.
I got dizzy just from looking at this
I was worried about that
First! Lol love your reviews. Better than 99% of any reviewer on UA-cam
thanks
Dang i was hoping it would be like Rime. I love Rime
Question, can you remap the roll control to the left stick?
I do like the idea of an inside-out planet. Imagine an action game or maybe a racing game that uses it.
Thanks for saving me $20! Was itching to get this
Sam Foote Same here...had high hopes actually.
Nice Dio reference(s). ;) Good to see the game is on Linux as well.
I wish developers collaborated with their alma mater's biology department to do an innerspace inside the body journey. I want to be a molecule and learn bio 101 all over again.
Well I loved Abzu and I bought it based on your review. I think I will also buy this game because so far so good. Its got me.
Wretched Slippage same.
Brian Ogilby this game is pretty fun. I just bought it
This game actually made me motion sick.
Is this your first Never Touch? I've not seen all your reviews, but it seems like a surprisingly rare score from you. A lot of times even when you're dunking on a game it still manages a Deep Deep Sale. Anyhow, another great video.
no
Ah I figured it probably wasn't. Thanks for the incredibly timely reply though!
Oh well, movin on, thanks ACG
you bet
Karak, yet again, another sublime review.
Abzu, Journey and especially Flower, rely heavily on fluid movement to make an impact. This game just looks so bland. I'm sorry you had to play this, man.
It is cool sometimes you have to play the good and bad you know. And no one knows until you play
Thanks for playing so I don't have to heh
It looks barren and well.. boring, unfortunately. I do like these kind of games, but I'll skip this one.
huh.... its NOT locked to 4:3 like mine is. Good to know.
The game would have been cool if it just focused on being a disorienting yet fun and relaxing experience, but collecting the relics becomes so tedious, it isn't relaxing or fun.
Well, at least this review entices me to replay Abzu, and that's a good thing!
Lol sometimes Karak’s metaphors go way over my head
Try to listen to them at 0.5 speed, maybe that helps
well they're usually similes, soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Sometimes I want to down-vote a review video because I don't like the game. Then I realize that it was a good review because it made me see I don't like the game so I should up-vote it.
It's like Rez! Without the good music, the interesting colors, and anything to do...
yup
Now there's a game that flew over my head somehow. Definitely checking that one out.
Looks really boring.
can you let us know if console versions are equally good or bad?
I had a small time with them but the Switch version has FPS issues alot. Reported by other reviewers too
Scary how this kind of game seems like something that would have been huge a generation ago, wirh fixes, but today it's a busted "who the hell put this out" mess. ya this one is just all turned around
Ahhh the beauty of "F**k You It's January!"...
Best reviews in the biz
Do you play as Randy Quaid?
I clicked this video hoping it would be a new 'Operation: Inner Space'.
The first quarter of this review convinced me to stay away from this game.
Great Dio reference
"It's like a colourblind person living in a world where everyone has made puzzles where they ask you what numbers are hidden inside the dots"
As a colourblind person, i recognise this feeling :( Not sure if this is the game for me then!
"ITS NOT REALLY A GOOD ONE!" LOOOOOOOOOOOL! I fucking love that
lol glad you liked it
Going into a classical music hall and smashing the top of a trash can LOL
I'm always reluctant to buy exploration games like these, as they can go in either direction. i HEAR YA
This game looks.... deep.
it's going to be bad for people with motion sickness. I don't have that but it's getting to me with blended colors.
Isnt the design of the drone unpleasing to the eyes? So much aliasing and such an odd shape
Is it anything like the 80's movie?
it ends
Could you check out Spellforce 3, please? :)
are you on speed?
How Doe it run on the Switch?
Can you even rent games anymore? Blockbuster and other stores like it are-nonexistant and you cant rent them digitally for some reason. Would be great if you could
redbox, bluebox, gamefly, anmd over a hundred on other services for rental types
Probably have to use gamefly or some service for this. Unlikely red or blue box wld have it. They tend to only have AAA titles.
what about for $4?
That's a shame. I really like the idea of the inverted planets.
It's free now if you twitch prime
Darn. I was hoping that this was a remake of Operation: Inner Space. :(
Hey Karak, if you're still being demonetized, I'm still skipping Ads before your videos. Let me know.

this one....looks fine right now
ACG Nice. Ok. I'm back to learning about how great Lineage 2 is on mobile. Thanks for the review. Hope you can review the new DBZ game. Love the show. Game looks like an actual episode.
I’ll stick with my Subnautica. :)
Mafia 2 walking the walk, please?
"Like you're talking to a fantasy version of Rain man"
Wtf I just watched Rainman before I saw this review.
Anyone else?
In conclusion: never touch
Aww. It looks so interesting, though.
Thx for this simple conclusion. Bye.
So basically a game for those people who like to play a game without that actual playing the game part coming in the way.
yes
God that sound.... sounds like a snes!
Commendable Karak! Why you didn't review the COD WW2 yet ?
never win. haven't played it much
ACG can't blame you
That shows how much effort are you putting in every review...Bravo buddy!
COD? Are you serious?
Because we know it's a "never touch".
This is the first never touch I've ever seen.
No wonder you kept flying into the sun, looking for a difference in colour.
Very touch...?
Seems a little harsh.
god the movement of the ship and screen movement is so off putting. Motion sickness blaaaaaaaa
2 minutes in and I was getting a headache. Don't get me wrong I love the fast and funny talking but not today. In conclusion it sucks!!!
This could be good on PSVR
Dang man, you said this ain’t even a good one brooooo. Dang
It's weird because I find this game both beautiful and ugly at the same time...really hard to explain.
This game world makes me feel uncomfortable.
These are not games just areally involved screensavers
My man!
Ouch. The game looks like a rent at least the graphics look cool.
I am so sad right now i wanted to buy this game but i wasn't sure. Seems like its not worth buying.
Another No Man’s Sky tragedy.
