In regards to Punk being stranded in London, people found the AEW travel communicator liking anti-punk tweets, and his profile was completely pro Young Bucks. He scrubbed his entire Twitter after people called him out. Punk wasn’t lying, he really is working with children.

The AEW travel coordinator is a long-time friend of The Bucks. His twitter bio calls himself a mini-Buck. He has been liking anti-Punk tweets for months, especially after this event. What an amazing coincidence the ONLY guy with travel issues is CM Punk. It's incredible really how amateurish it all is.

it's no one's fault but punks hes the guy who started all this. maybe dont start and constantly stir shit with the guys who started the company and are friends with most of the people in it. punk started the shit at the press conference bringing up colt, he is the one who told anyone who had a problem with what he said to come see him, hes the one who goes out and cuts promos after the show to try to bury talent. it's all punk. he came into a company thinking everyone was going to kiss his ass and it didnt work out that way so his ego is bruised. this guys has the biggest ego in the world for no reason hes never been a draw, hes never been good in the ring really, and hes never been liked in any company hes ever been in.

A friend of mine who traveled to the UK for the show actually met Punk on that subway and sent me a pic of them together hours before the show and was telling me how he and another friend of his gave him directions to the hotel (they were staying in the same one as him) so the travel part is most definitely true.
Anyway, it's one thing to take disciplinary action against Punk & Perry but suspending him from All Out in Chicago is definitely a bad look. I haven't seen a company in this much of a mess since WCW in 2000.

I think he is doing the right thing so far. It's his real life redemption story. When it's all said and done people will look back at his stint in AEW and realize he had the moral high ground. He's exposing this new Kliq as it should be, because they are ruining AEW. Bret Hart made the mistake of leaving WWE and the Kliq had its way with Vince for a bunch of years. Punk is staying and he is the voice of the voiceless. Because there's a lot of young talent in AEW who aren't part of that new Kliq and he is their flag bearer. He's the only one with the status and financial security to face them directly.
Punk’s done a number on his own reputation, no help needed.

Not having Punk in Chicago this weekend will backfire on AEW tremendously. If you have to reprimand him, have Punk put someone over at All Out then suspend him for however long it needs to be. But not having Punk there at all this entire week will kill the Chicago market for them.

I’ve secretly been on Punk’s side from the beginning. Everyone was ripping him to shreds after that media scrum. He’s a veteran surrounded by children who have no idea how to do business and how to be professional it seems.

From what I have heard, when the Bucks and their friends populated the local California indies, specifically PWG, the wrestlers who weren’t in the circle of friends walked on eggshells because if they stood up for themselves they risked not being booked for a time or even blackballed from PWG. You had to play their game and suck up to them if you weren’t friends or not work. Such a horrible environment that they obviously brought to AEW. However, when you get guys who have worked for Vince and refuse to play games, that’s when problems occur. See: Punk since his arrival. I’m sure Danielson (who is on the same level stardom as Punk) is probably not a fan of the pettiness going on, but he’s the nicest dude in the biz and will just go along to get along.
We been saying this for years, funniest thing was the same bucks fans are the ones that tried sh*tting on Triple H because he had some stroke backstage as a wrestler and yet the bucks are doing it ten times over and not actually drawing any money. Why would they stop? What they're doing is working. Punk's only going to get a few more chances to attack other workers before Tony is forced to let him go.
The more I hear about this, the more amazing it is that somehow Vince McMahon managed to get Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels into the same ring MULTIPLE TIMES after they had a legitimate fight in 1997. Yes, we know how that eventually ended but that looks more impressive today.
Dudes like Jack Perry, Hangman, and the Bucks to come from a generation where dudes don’t get punched in the face for talking crazy to people (Thanks Social Media!). And they have all - except Hangman, the one who actually started all of this - have found out the hard way.
As someone born in 1999 I loved social media growing as I entered school years, many were developing the attitude you described and it made it much better when you punch the smug smile of their face until you’re pulled off the person. Incredibly memorable moments in my life and I regret nothing because my grades where too high so the school didn’t want to get rid of me. Was a plus for the person getting punched as well since they learned a valuable lesson - in the real world you can’t say whatever you want and expect to get away with it.
Luckily, the rest of the locker room stayed out of it back in the day. With AEW, it seems like there can't be any middle ground, you have to choose a side.
At this point, Vince could send Punk a text saying "Hey pal, ready to come back to work" and Punk would say yes.
And they'd get massive numbers left, right, and center, over it.
The CaliBeta AEW fans would go back to barely getting over 750k, but at least they'd be "all fwendz."

This seems obvious to me, but the intention was never to fight Punk. The intention was to provoke him, which has worked every single time. Jack wasn't surprised, he got exactly what he/they wanted. They're banking on Kahn siding with his friends rather than right/wrong or business, and that's probably a safe bet.
If somebody did what Jack Perry did to Punk, to say Randy Orton they'd be told to not show up to the next taping and that they'd be wished well in their future endeavours. Jack Perry should be thanking his lucky stars he still has a job.
I stand by my opinion that doing All Out and All In a week apart from one another is a terrible idea. Especially asking those to pay the full PPV price for both and that your top star will turn out not to be in one of them. If they keep doing this every year, I bet it will be a disaster.

I always knew when CM Punk came to AEW there would be a lot of conflict with the Elite and their friends given everyone in that group pretty much has a big ego and I'm loving every second of it.

The fact that he got into the octagon at his age, and had the balls to do it is to Punk's credit in my opinion. I can never understand how that is used as a stick to beat him.
A lot of this says to me that Jack Perry and probably the young bucks etc have never been in a real locker room before. Even when I played high school football it wasn't unusual for a couple guys to get sideways with each other and take it out in the parking lot. Never got lawyers involved, coach didn't really condone it but at the same time understood this shit happens.

I worked as a bouncer in Philly nightclubs & bars in the 90's...and again in the late 2010's. Back in the old days, it was understood that if you got outta line, you would get your ass "escorted" from the premesis...but if you tried to play tough guy, and acted like you wanted to fight, you'd catch a beatin'. No one sued. No one called the cops. Folks took their ass-whopin' and moved on. Hell, there were many occasions when they'd come back and apologize for being an asshole, and even bring us cheesesteaks, or pizza. That was the old days. When I worked the clubs again in the late 2010's, it was very different. If some douchebag got outta line, you could'nt give him a good smack. Even if they were throwing punches at you, you could'nt knock him out, you were supposed to just "subdue" him. Because club owners became terrified of lawsuits. And what this did was...it emboldened this new generation of assholes and douchebags to do whatever they wanted, because they knew you were'nt allowed to "put your hands on" them. In effect, it neutered bouncers. Club owners would rather let a fight rage, tear up their club, kill the vibe, and just pay for the damages later, rather than have bouncers step in and neutralize the situation, because they knew some little punk would press assault charges and sue. Or they'd cry and whine on social media about the how the big, mean bouncers beat him up for no reason.
I miss the old days when punks held their tongue and acted right because they did'nt want to wake up in a back alley with teeth missing. That was a hell of a deterrant.

It's crazy to me how, when you listen to the veterans talk about their careers, about breaking into the business, how all of them discuss their admiration for the old school guys that they met when they first came into the locker rooms. How they sat with them to ask questions, to seek knowledge. To be a sponge, and to be the subjects of ass kickings if needed to earn their spot, to pay their dues. Now? You have these talentless clowns who think they're above the business who refuse to respect the people that laid the foundation for them to have a job. They think they know everything, thus refusing to take guidance and critiques.
