  • Ready for another watercolor sketchbook tour? This time, the sketchbook pages I planned to hand-sew together ended up instead inside my portfolio. Take a look at my most ambitious effort yet! As an added bonus I show you a peak inside my home studio/work station. :)
    Supplies:
Paper: Kilimanjaro, 10x16 inches, 100% cotton, cold press.
Watercolors: various brands but primarily Daniel Smith.
Portfolio: 11x17 inches, available from Michael's Arts & Crafts or from Hobby Lobby.

The statues are beautiful. I love the volume you’ve managed to convey and the hands are really fantastic.

Loved this sketchbook tour. Both temple paintings are just beautiful, and also love the resurrection statue, and the little bird. 💖

6:21 hi Morrison! Fun video as usual! I love your statues….and you should definitely bind your sketches in a sketchbook! That would be so lovely….ciao! Have a great week 😊

Thanks for watching Elisabetta. I just might bind the pages together, still deciding what to do. Take care!

    Good day,
Many beautiful pieces in your portfolio! I have several favorites, but if I have to pick only one, it would be the Layton Temple. I like the open feel of it above all and the colors are lovely. It reminded me of my trip to Beijing years ago when I went to see The Great Wall of China. Also, a beautiful and cozy studio! Happy painting! :)

    Your paintings are beautiful!
One of my favourite spreads is that one with statues. You created a very nice composition of different pictures. And I like your urban landscapes. You chose nice racurses!

Love your sketchbook! I think I liked the flute player at the Louvre the best. (I just knew of keeping your eye on the sparrow from the Baretta theme.) Ha ha on the gaming -- I love to procrastinate with the best of them.

Which painting is your favorite? Also, should I finish the sketchbook by binding the pages together, or leave the pages in my portfolio?

I bet I know where you live. The state that is. So do I but I’m not a member of your church. Nice sketchbook tour.
