I'll have to check to see if I already have that one. -Bought a ton of used watercolor books from an estate sale and haven't finished cataloging them. Thanks for the video! It’s a great book, definitely worth picking up if you don’t have it in your collection. My other inspirations are Charles Reid, Jean Haines, and Marc Taro Holmes. I will be doing some more book reviews in the future. Thank you for watching and for taking the time to post a comment! :)
I enjoy looking at watercolor books and I have bought some books for beginners and borrowed books from the library. My problem is I enjoy looking at the pictures but I do not enjoy reading the instructions. I’m very much a visual learner. Some of my paintings from the beginner books have been very good, but they were good only because I had already learned quite a lot from YT videos and I quickly understood the concepts and techniques being taught in the books. 😊
Very true about visual learning. Some things are better learned through visual instruction. Myself, I tend to prefer both written and visual though. Thanks for posting Shadow Guard!

I haven’t read the Simandle book yet but I have several books and videos by Charles Reid and he is one of my all time favorites. Cheers!
