- In this video we build Airfix's 1/72 Westland Sea King HAR.3. Also, for something a little different, we take a look at the actual aircraft currently house in the RAF Museum, Hendon.

When coloring this kidult, it is better to use acrylic paint considering environmental and safety aspects! 0:15
But is it appropriate to color using lacquer paint and acrylic paint alternately? 4:11

The kit or the one an Hendon? Yes to the kit, no to the one at Hendon.
The version I bought has the door closed behind the pilot did you scratch build the steps and the door open
Did you have the older tool? I didn't scratch build the door, no. It was build straight out the box
Shame Airfix didn't release this as the yellow one as an option, where did you get the decals from? Great build
It wouldn't surprise me if that's coming in the 2024 New Releases. This was the smaller 1/72 kit so the decals came with it 😃👍

I'm curious, could you please tell me what brand of paint did you use for the body color? Did you use the Humbrol #69 as listed on the back of the box? Thanks!
It was a mix of yellows. So I used Ammo Mig Gold Yellow to pick out highlights on grey primer. I then went over the whole thing with Vallejo Yellow. Hope that helps
