Very nice build Dr!! Did you have any filling with putty required for this kit? There seemed to be some gaps that needed some putty, what did you use in this case?
I never knew of or seen an aircraft with missiles on top of the wings like this aircraft does. The markings are British, correct? Did the British make this aircraft?
Lovely Jag. Always looks good in Arctic camouflage. My favourite late Cold War jet. That and the Mig 23. I wanted to join the RAF as a Jaguar pilot (I didn’t!). But it still holds a special place for me.
What nozzle size and air pressure do you use with the airbrush, I've tried to free hand camouflage, but it either splatters everywhere or just splutters out
Beautiful build, thank you very much for sharing! I'm just learning, so have a very long way until your league for sure. One note though, are those planes really that worn out? Such amount of chipping doesn't reflect well on a maintenance discipline in the RAF, does it? :)
Thank you. Yes they were. The arctic camo was actually a removable/washable white paint apllied over the green or grey used only during winter time excercises. This paint had a tendenctly to peel off.Look via google for RAF arctic camos and you will see jaguars 100x times more worn than mine ;)
Absolutely fantastic as usual. I had made a 1/144 scale one in the same scheme many years ago when I used to brush paint. I learnt that this camo was short-lived as it would wear off very quickly. Cockpit improvements were superb
Hi Doc, that was a outstanding build once again from a true master, one aircraft kit that has not been manufactured in great numbers, best regards from Australia 👍👍👍
Sepecat Jaguar GR.1 RAF nice jet nice build. I like this jet fantastic. ❤😊👍☺️🤗
Thanks :)
Nice build, but, RAF fin flashes are always red towards the nose, blue towards the tail
Killjoy.
All that talent ruined by rookie fin flashes being the wrong way around.
Yes I somehow managed to put them the wrong way despite me looking at pictures of the real thing while outting them on the kit :D
Still looks great regardless....👍
Kurt Barker The optimist sees the donut the pessimist sees the hole...
I have one of these in the stash. I was going to go with Operation Granby desert pink colors, but this winter scheme may change my mind.
I was thinking exactly the same thing mate 😂
Why not do both.
very nice Jaguar!!! well done
Thanks for the visit
Hello! I'm building one of these and I'm having so much fun! Your work is inspiring and never disappoints! Congratulations on this beautiful model!
Thank you so much :)
Very nice! These old Italeri kits bring back some memories....
Thanks :)
Beautiful job Dr. MiG, love this scheme and the Jaguar in general
Thank you :)
One more little wonder! Your video of the day is my first pleasure (with a good coffee).😊😊
Thank you my friend :)
@@doctormig2709 you're welcome
*Always a relaxing and a amazing build, congrats Doctor!*
Thanks :)
Beautiful work ❤️
Thank you :)
очень хорошо ,у меня харриер гр3 в таком камуфляже ,тоже отлично смотрится
Thank you :)
Love this winter camo pattern
I know what you mean.I am now tempted to do a Gr.3 harriernin the same camo
@@doctormig2709 i took the easy way out with my winter camo jag and bought a pre made and pre painted Die cast model from corgi.🤣🤣🤣🤣
But still it is never late for an arctic cako Jaguar :D
@@doctormig2709 yep.👍
Very nice Jaguar 😉👌
Hvala :)
Hello! Good job as always, one detail of the colors of the flag on the fin are positioned incorrectly. Good luck in your new work.
ThanksmYes the decals oob are printed incorrectly
Looks amazing in that camo. Great job as usual. I am curious as to why do most of your builds have little to no ordinance on them?
Thank you.Well mostly because I hate fiddling with small stuff like the armament and I mainly loose interest by the time I havr to do the armament.
It's a jaaaaaggggg!!!!!
Very nice build Dr!! Did you have any filling with putty required for this kit? There seemed to be some gaps that needed some putty, what did you use in this case?
Hello and thanks.I did not use putty at all.I used superglue and styrene sheet.
I never knew of or seen an aircraft with missiles on top of the wings like this aircraft does. The markings are British, correct? Did the British make this aircraft?
Yeah it is the french/anglo Sepecat Jaguar :)
Great work as always. What do you use for your gloss coats?
Thank you.In the last 2to 3 years I have been using the Ak gauzy agent shine enxancer ;)
Why when you glue the cockpit windows with super glue they don't go frosted ??
Because I dip them in Future/Plegde and I wipe them clean of any fingerprints or dust or resudue when clean.
Awesome work on a great kit,Doc!!! I'v got a few of these waiting to be built. Thanks.
Thanks my friend :) I will have to buy several more for sure :D
Saludos super glue q marca usa para pegar las carlingas
For what
"Old kit lots of sanding" but it helps if you attempt to align the parts up to some degree....
With some kits like this one there is no allinging of some of thr parts.
Sir hi,you have placed the RAF decal wrong on your vertical stabilizer, red side should come first then the blue, repair it if possible.
Thanks :)
Did you mix the gloss varnish with water? and if you did how many parts of varnish and how many parts of water did you mix?
Nope i do not.I use it direclty from the bottle.
thanks - the Jaguar was such a cool-looking aircraft
Thank you :)

Really nice work, always like seeing kits of Jaguars getting made!
Thanks.I will build several more for sure ;)
Weldone.
Thank you :)
Like the camo
loved the build, absolutely beautiful. but imo a bit to much weathering
Thank you :)
I sat in the cockpit of a Sepecat Jaguar once 😸
I envy you ;)
This was the same model I had build last year, but with Indian Air Force scheme.
Love the iaf jaguars ;)

0.2mm and 0.1 to 0.5 bar preasurre
@@doctormig2709 thank you
Next time try & do WET sanding it really helps, no mess of plastic powder flying, try it.
Nice one mate👍✈️🇳🇿
Thank you verry much :)
Looks great 🏆

Thank you :)
Nicely done Doc, except for the tail flash. Beautiful result from a dodgy old kit! 👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻
Thanks.Yes I aomehow managed to put them the wring way around :D
Absolutely fantastic as usual. I had made a 1/144 scale one in the same scheme many years ago when I used to brush paint. I learnt that this camo was short-lived as it would wear off very quickly. Cockpit improvements were superb
Thank you Sherbir. You are correct it is a tempirary camo ;)
Excellent finish my friend, the colors are spectacular.
Thank you very much!
Amazing work as always, I enjoy your builds.
Thanks Bill :)
Predobro! Svaka cast, Doktore!
