Thanks for taking the time to do this great review. I’m looking for ways to carry more fresh water with me when camping in areas that are very limited for water. These crash bar bags look like something that could do the job for me. Also water bottles should also work as a basic “crush zone” if the bike goes down. 😎👍✅
Great videos Grumpy Goat. What mic are you using in this video. I tried a cheap Amazon lavalier mic on one of my videos and the audio was garbage. Thanks in advance.
@@timetomoto I believe it is a Rode Lavalier Go but can’t be 100% sure. There are lots of good microphones on Amazon as well. Purple Panda lav mics are also popular as are PowerDewise lav mics.
@timetomoto Ignore that last reply. I was thinking of my helmet mic. The mic I am using is an excellent Saramonic Blink 500 Pro X wireless mic. I actually am trying to sell it at the moment: www.ebay.com/itm/145863377893?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Yw7sxn63Sxq&sssrc=2051273&ssuid=Yw7sxn63Sxq&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
@@timetomoto Only because I upgraded the lav mic to a more professional one. This Saramonic is excellent and I had good customer service from then on the previous one as well.
@@Jojokoko-v1c it might be a bit bulky on those crash bars of the GS Adventure, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. It would just make the bike look fatter.😁

Another great use for these 6L bags. Thanks for the comment.
Grumpy you keep this up and the bike will start to imitate those Matryoshka dolls or more commonly referred to as Russian Tea Dolls.
😁
Gotta make it my own. It’s almost done. Keep watching the channel for more practical mods (those are the only kinds I’ll spend money on).

@@GrumpyGoat thanks very much. Any reason you’re selling this one?

@@GrumpyGoat Lets hope it doesnt affec the riding significantly! Gr8 content keept it up!
I think that if you find it necessary to protect your crash bars, you might have somewhat missed the point of an adv bike. :)
Hehe … what is that? To damage crash bars? 🤣 I’d rather damage / replace the cheaper “crash pads”.
