Not sure how you guys felt about the travel trailer in Arizona but I sold my van and am now full time in a 25 ft trailer. Absolutely love it. People seem to change rigs every 2-3 years so I preferred to spend the 6-8 months it would have taken me to build another rig on the road in one that was ready (with a few electrical upgrades I made). And as for quality, I’m not trying to live in it for ten years so I don’t need it to be made of steel. I feel like a normal person again since I can disconnect from my home and it’s SO nice being able to leave camp in my truck without having to pack up my life every time. That part is probably an even bigger bonus if you have a baby and run into an emergency!

It would be sweet to park on up somewhere but then we also have to get a truck to pull it.

❤❤❤❤ I really try to keep my personal opinions out of things and I really love y'all as a family and the content you put out is great however I believe that Everly shouldn't just be any car seat. Her car she should be secured if you guys are gonna be driving down the road./highway/... That's the most unsafe thing I've ever seen in a vide.... be still my heart.... 💜 I'm always praying for y'all! Please receive this is constructive criticism and not criticism because this is the way I intended it .

The car seat is secured!!! There are two seatbelts in the back, one that secures the car seat and one for me (Alex) while I'm sitting back there. The car seat is super sturdy, we can make a video yanking on it if you want. I promise, it's not just floating there!!! Sorry to cause you worry!

It would be nice if you could do van life a little longer.
Everly keeps getting cuter and cuter. I was amazed how active she is since last video. The first year goes by in a flash. My baby will be 45 yrs old this year and I don't know where the time has gone. Take care😊

I totally would love to with Everly being so young. But we do realize how fast she is growing, and maybe a little bigger of a rig would be great for her to grow into.

Gotta do what's best for the family! Homesteading is a dream of mine, lots of work but I can't even imagine the accomplished feeling of eating what you grew. I think the baby would benefit from stability, but she's young and you can always settle down during the more important years.
Good luck and stay safe out there!

But this time I feel like I should say come to northern Vermont for a visit. we are in a location that is affordable and great for homesteading, cute small villages and great schools. Skiing and lots of fun people. It’s close to Canada and easy to get to NJ and Florida
Not sure how you can connect with me. Im not to tech savvy.

I'm working on building a conversion trailer myself. So, we could be doing similar work together if you'd like to come here for your build.

I think you've officially grown up enough to grab yourselves a slice of heaven. Clearly, first step is a rig you can live comfortably in. Then save up and find a chunk of land you can camp out on while building and setting it up to live. Not only is it the way to get what would take many years otherwise but also provides content material. (ala T&A, NM, M&M Adv, LeaW)
Also, Mom and Dad might give you a helping hand now that you're showing responsibility and making good decisions.
I think that if Francis can figure out that the light unit needs power via hot and ground, then he can figure out how to plan a homestead. Jus sayin.

Having a base of operations is really nice. Soon a certain someone will need school. 4 1/2 years or so seems like a long time, but it will go by quickly. Getting a place started and building on it over time while taking long road trips will let you decide just what you need. You can always sell the land (and structure) later if you decide it is not for you.

Like I'm trying to get disability due to bad stroke i want to do Van Life or something i use to be a Truck Driver so i want to see the country can i? I didn't know i want to still dealing with doctors for 32 months and no word on disability yet, neurologist and heart doctor can't understand why i don't have it yet. 50% Brain damage etc. but o still go and try
