@Firstpost, show how women are misusing laws meant to protect in India. Anyone can talk problems in other countries. It takes a real journalist to show problems at home.
It's not just China. The institution of marriage is going away even in India. No one wants to go through the headache of being in a marriage these days especially when everything is becoming really expensive and fights occur because of finance and savings and expenses and work and travel and children's expenses and house loans and unnecessary stress etc etc etc.
It’s the common mindset now. The burgeoning household chores for women, lazy children, nonsensical competition, lack of compassion among the family members, hollow love, unrespectful children, cost of living, insane educational system, nasty legal system will all lead to collapse of the institution marriage. Besides this the crazy fat weddings rip one’s lifetime earnings apart. Obviously marriages spend a chill down the spine. Social stigma and legal hurdles make it all the more stinking. Better we get away with marriages and make a system where ppl can live peacefully.
Your complains and inferences are so illogical... 😂 Disrepsctful children? Spend more time with them. Rising cost of marriages - do a court marriage. Rising cost of living - stop buying crap and start living more frugally. Burdgeoning chores - not at all true. Infact the chores that wives had to do had lessened. With all the modern electronics. Washing machines have become cheaper than ever, dishwasher have become cheaper and with time will become more cheap. Microwaves, ovens, refrigerator... List goes on. Grocery shopping is no longer a big hurdle. It's way way cheaper to cook and eat. Marriage is an important insitution. If you want to have sex with somebody and live without commitment... Say that. There is a reason so much of focus is on marriage In every culture around the world. It's because it's controls sex and reproduction. It allows for safe rearing of children. It allows proper environment for children. You have brought your own feelings and making a generalised statement about a social issue.
It's parents fault when children are lazy and unrespectful. They let their mothers or someone else to look after them while they go out for work. Don't blame the children.
@@sonaliv1489 even in the olden days both the parents were away for work. In fact they had more children against one or two children these days. Per capita was far more less. Nothing prevented the unity, happiness of the families. Now look at the families. How traumatic every day life is with all riches, sophistication.
Before asking why people getting separated or not marrying..we need to ask why people get married in the first place.. nowadays people see everything in terms of cost and benefits nothing else.. this mindset is perfect for professional success but not for personal happiness.. because real happiness comes from sharing which these people don't understand and even if they do it takes two to tango.
In today's world, marriage, and it's twin brother, divorce, are firmly anchored on one thing: Money. And if there happens to be any happiness, it is because there is money. In an environment like that, cost/benefit analysis before diving in is the only sensible approach.
You are so brainwashed. Your idea of happiness is being a slave to corporations, your only joy is paying taxes, no husband no children, dying at 70 with nothing?
I would have loved to find someone stable and sane to share my life with. My easy-going, congenial personality was abused. Never happened. Much happier alone.
Marriage is like inviting unnecessary stress in your life without having an option to opt out peacefully its like going to hell to show society that we are also part of so called marriage system
It's happening now , may be India media don't want to address it due to our politicians "Sub changa c" mentality.. I am 31 and happy single plus no need of extra burden of marriage and kids
I'm a introverted person, from my school days I never talk to women. in India women also normally don't approach men so I never been in a relationship. Marrying a girl means adding more peoples, her family in my life which I don't want to because of my introvert nature. So, I think i will just live alone. I'm looking forward to spend my money in travelling and eating food from all over the world.
Today society is corrupt most women they get married to take half your wealth they want divorce to take half of your wealth because the law gave women above the men and right to take half his wealth.
In India marriage is a chore which is completed . Then kids next chore completed . No one thinks the responsibilities comes with it . Women are expected to do work , household work and raising children pushes them to the end . Before marriage make you are independent . Before having kids have them consciously . Or just marry don’t have kids . Kids bring enormous stress .
But they are married again after divorce...it's just most people acknowledge difference in opinion and behavior and they separated from each other...then search suitable partner for them
@@shubhangi7214 How is that good imagine the kind of life u would have had if in one of their fights your father and mother had decided enough is enough we will find someone else who is suitable
The whole marriage legal framework is so upside-down. Getting married should be a tough exercise requiring thousands of hours of court sittings. Getting divorce should rather be a cake-walk, an one hour sign-and-go affair for both partners. We've designed it all wrong in the first place. That's why everyone will run away from it as soon as social stigma vanishes.. Hope India becomes smart soon.❤
Agreed. Couples going through marriage should be mandated to go through marital counselling, and divorce should be a far easier, quicker and cheaper process. More importantly, there should be no stigma about divorce.
Many young Chinese people do not get married because of the high pressure of life! A man who wants to get married needs a house, a stable job, and a lot of money for girls! For example: A man earns 10000 yuan per month from work, but in a very ordinary city, a house with an area of 80-100 square meters costs around 1.5-2 million yuan, and when getting married, he also needs to give 200000 to 500000 yuan to the girl's family! If you were in a first tier city, houses would be even more expensive and you wouldn't be able to afford them! The most important thing is that girls' demands are getting higher and higher. Many girls want to find a handsome and wealthy man, but ordinary men are unwilling to accept it! In addition, after getting married, one also needs to have children. In cities, the cost of children's education is very high, and many people need to repay their home loans! This is really hard work!
Absolutely. And also visits to the finance department to prove a kind of permanent 'cant be withdrawn except for children that too with evidence' bank deposit of 15 crore in the name of future children. Only then should people be allowed to marry.
I can understand where they are coming from regarding their opinion about marriage. Even I sometimes feel marriage and having kids and raising them is too much of a responsibility. Our entire life revolves around spouse and children and we tend to lose our own identity. By the time our responsibilities as parents are over, we are old and suffer from ailments. And then the worst scenario is when our children are selfish and do not wish to look after parents who are sick. So rather than getting married, just work, travel and enjoy life. When we are old and sick, hire helper to look after us. Maybe without marriage and children, we might not have stress and might lead a very healthy life till our last breath.
At a water front cottage a couple of days ago, I saw a dozen of goose parents guarded and guided a few dozens of new-born geese, swimming along the shoreline. The same picture appeared year after year where the baby geese grew up in the summer, trained for food finding and flying, and migrated away along with their parents before winter. I imagine the geese would not have marriage certificates. However even the geese knew that they need stable family relationships to raise their young and survive the the elements of the nature. Have people noticed from their own experience that a stable relationship helps them succeed in the society, either in personal life or in business?
If you notice it is women who are more interested in NOT getting married. Somehow society has convinced them being a mother and a home maker is something to be looked down upon. Being a wage slave at some office is applauded. However their natural instinct is to be a homemaker. End result? They are more unhappy than ever this proving humans humans are less intelligent than most animals.
Actually nobody is pointing out the real thing. The problem is that there are so many liars nowdays both men and women who foolishly think that they can just con someone by lying about themselves. They think once you marry the other person is trapped and now they will come out with their true colors. But what they fail to understand is that why anybody will put up with their lies? The geese have a successful relationship because they did not lie to each other. They presented themselves the way they are.
So true. Stable relationships are rare now that narcissism has infiltrated our culture. It's difficult (impossible for me) to find a person stable enough to have a long-term relationship with.
Not getting married is nothing new. It is the West which leads this trend, not China. This is the reason Western family no long regard marriage as necessary to define a family or a civil union. In case of separation of the unmarried, the spouses together over 1 year are treated as if they were married in property divisions. For this reason, not only is marriages at record lows, co-habitation beyond 1 year is also disappearing. Why does Palki talk as if it is unique to China ?
Agree absolutely. There is an anti China sentiment in her narrative. I wonder who is the financial backer behind her website. Quote President Putin : "Look into the mirror, if you look ugly, don't blame the mirror". One needs to look into one's own before embarking to look at others. China like any other countries is not perfect. She doesn't need to be apologetic about it.
@@shubhangi7214 You see the same common law union trends in Taiwan, S Korea, and Hong Kong. When you make new friends you meet their "partner" rather than their husband or wife. Or they do that until they have children.
Its better to live single. As a wife my life has become stressful. Have to do whatever my inlaws ,husband says beyond my happiness. If i dont do they pull the string of my husband and theirs everything Ive to do if I dnt do they will speak to my parents. So I just live for living some days are good some are hell. Wish I had job & healthy.
Agreed but all the men here ignored your comment because none of them care about women’s happiness. They only care about themselves. When asked for equal work they complain it’s not fair or they’re exhausted but think it’s ok for women to just deal with that when they are doing more.
why didn't you get a job before marriage? its absolutely ridiculous that women who marry because they are completely unemployable turn around and bad mouth their marriage. as if in a job you will get foot massages every day only.
In my country its common to find 30-40year olds that are single. Its rare to find Anyone marrying in their 20's here. Yes its ideal to marry young but times have changed. I hope this makes you feel better about your situation. Your life is Your life, most times you must have a major fallout with your parents before they let you become an adult. But dont be worried you all will make peace over time and they will respect you more for choosing your own path and taking it.
Stay single. You will be glad you did. People are insane and unstable. Women are ignored and abused. And in the end he will find a younger, naive replacement.
Yes marriage is a social contract while romance is entirely different, romance calls for lot of expectations, personal space and time while marriage is entire different game were one has to sacrifice personal time, space for relatives and kids One has to take marriage as a job with responsibility and division of labour between two otherwise they will be stuck in permanent unhappiness
Stop blaming love when love is the most important thing , love always wins if stupid people are doing things in the name of love them that's not fair!!! Don't blame real love blame lust money n looks people are getting married for wrong things mostly to show off then obviously they will get such results.
Even in India marriage is getting lower with each passing year. People are not happy with marriages and feeling deeply dissatisfied. Marriage is gradually come to an end in India.

As an Indian youth, I became very wary of women after a female colleague threatened me of sexual harrasment complaint. When I protested about it, she was like 'Don't take it seriously, I was jesting'. We all know the social and legal advantage women have in India. It's frightening.
Marriage is expensive. The current rate of inflation and cost of living demands both the partner to have high paying jobs or high income. Having chidren is unaffordable. Health care itself is so expensive. Moreover, if your spouse is not co-operative or contributing to the marriage, it becomes frustrating. Rather stay single than get into a marriage. Moreover who has the time for any relationships when how much ever we earn is not enough to maintain it
Financial reason is correct Also People who enjoy their independence once they get kids and are bound to take care of kids and no personal time people are questioning whether it is necessary to have kids. Attitide is also changing now some people dont have patience, and dont want to sacrifice their happiness. In another decade we can see more people choosing to stay single
In Sweden the majority are not married these days and they live as sambo (live in couple). They split finances in half and each person is responsible for their own. If one falls ill, the state supports. They have kids ONLY when they want, none of this unwanted or teen pregnancy. I don't know if that is necessarily the best. Still I've seen a lot of really strong couples, who have seen each other through severe illness. Something in between maybe would be best
People are having kids without marriage this could not be accepted by traditional Asian societies that's why marriage is only the last option for Asian men and women.
Yes, a man and a woman can be together in all aspects of life even while living in different homes, it's called "special residence" or living together but apart. Then we have people who actually live together under the same roof and split living expenses. They could have children together etc. It is accepted in society and of the authorities except when it comes to the right of inheritance. More than 60% av swedes are divorced and there is a very high rate of singles who have been married to each other or only lived together a while and later seprated or divorced. We also have a really high rate of depressed people even among youngsters.
In next 20 30 years India also will have aging population beacause of late marriages or no marriages. This is worldwide trend now to reject institution of marriage because of its failure.
Everyone who is saying that marriages r falling apart in india I think I live in a completely different India..... I'm 22 and all my friends r getting married dham dhama dham..
I know a ton of young people who never wants to get married and I also think like them. Why invite trouble when there are already so much problems going on in everyone's life.
The problem simply is that each generation becomes more about "me'' and caring less about working through any issues. Since less and less people want to solve problems and rather just walk away, there will be less and less real lasting relationships.
also because they have seen the crap their parents go through. We would rather stay single and happy than staying with a shitty person for the rest of your life
Plus incentivizing single people with tax breaks, more money, and other benefits only married people get tells the single people they don't get to have it also has that effect. Government shouldn't legislate marriage neither should they tax discriminately based on marital status, requiring more taxes for those who are not married. We already have laws on the books that deals with specific crimes relating to abuse, rape, violence, death threats. Flat out tax everyone at a certain percentage and get used to that.
Because Chinese women can work independently, have their own wealth, and get married and have children, it is more free to waste time alone. The more economically developed the country or region, the more people who are not married and the fewer children
Even a highly educated woman becomes a servant after marriage. In the name of marriage...In the name of love... a lady has to adjust everything, listen to all kinds of taunts from incapable people just to keep marriage going... I think most girls in India even after knowing negatives of marriage marry just to get security and show society "I have people around me" just that.

Few tips for good marriage- 1) no girl or boy is bad, u just have to see that it suits u or not, coz uurs definition of good and bad changes with years 2) don't have too much expectations, if possible have zero expectations. 3) dont look for that ideal husband or wifey material, no body is ideal like movies 4) don't try to control uur partner, ( very important) , and honestly don't even try to control anything, neither kids nor wife not anything, otherwise u will be depressed. 5) focus on what u give, rather than what u get, by this u will even get more than u give 6) please please read astrology and learn human behavior, if u have got a woman whos born on 8/17/26, there's no way that she will ever obey u, so if u know this fact, u will not even have these expectations. 7) happiness doesn't lie in extremes, happy couple doesn't mean they r partying every day and night, happy couple may also mean they r having tea and just sitting and having conversation. 8) follow brahmchary, means no sex or masturbation until u have married. 9) girls should always be earning and working, i know many will get pissed off, but lemme explain, yeah if u have non earning wife, it may be easy to control her, but by this system only men can have fake happiness, not the real one, and most women will always be disappointed, and happy marriage means when both couples r happy. Lemme quote a example, in muslim countries, where there in no working lady, u just see the status of woman, its even worse than animals, u r treated just as baby producing machines, now take the example of vedic era where 100 percent woman was working, and there were no divorces❤❤❤❤
I think the term good and bad is not merely if a person is good looking and rich. In terms of looking for a husband or a wife, good means mostly kind, responsible, respectful, and loving. If a woman or a man is abusive or disrespectful then he or she is not a good marriage partner. Yes, do not look for a man that is like the lead man in a movie or drama series. This kind of a man does not exist.

Mark my words. Most Indian men don't want to marry either. Marriage is forced upon them culturally by Indian parents which would somewhat be happy at the beginning but not long after, it starts to change. I have seen so many Indian men who think that a single life with a decent paying job is heaven. This woman made the same fun about Japanese people too. Not knowing that her own counteymen are wishing the same. And ofcourse this varies with men belonging to different class of economic status. Upper or Upper middle class Indians have no problem with marriage. But Middle and Lower Middle class Indians do.
You are ❌wrong. Even rich Indian males with ₹ 3- 5 crores property on average are scared 😱😰🙀 of marriage💍. Why do think actors like prabhas & adavi sesh is preferring to stay single.
Same goes for Indian women. I am seeing so many female colleagues in my office who say they don't want to get married. They look happy enjoying their life investing in profitable ventures. God save this doomed generation
I dunno what to do. If I don't marry, how do I fulfill my sexual urges? Watch porn and masturbate? I've been doing that since I was 15 but there's always the desire to get the real deal. However, marrying just for sex also seems silly taking into consideration the stress and responsibilities it brings. There's also the inherent need to love someone and be loved by someone. How do I satisfy these needs without increasing my stress and problems with a marriage? I also think it's boring to settle with just one person for the rest of your life especially considering that in arranged marriages, you have no idea of the person you're gonna marry. On top of this, there are very low dating opportunities and I have poor dating skills to get my needs satisfied without marriage. Very confused overall.
The marriage rate is declining in most countries due to a number of factors, including: The shrinking income of middle and lower-income people, who make up 80% of the population. The rising cost of living, including housing, food, clothing, and healthcare. The advancement of technology, automation, and artificial intelligence (AI). AI is automating jobs and reducing wages, while the cost of living is increasing. The advancements in technology, automation, and AI are benefiting the elite (20% of the population), which includes both rich and upper-middle-class people. This leads to reduced costs, increased productivity, and more profits, which in turn leads to inflation. Another reason for the decline in marriage rates is the mindset of people. People are increasingly choosing to be single, for a variety of reasons, including: Less anxiety about the future. Lower tensions. More focus on their job or career. More financial independence. More freedom. Lesser responsibilities. The divorce rate is also on the rise, which is contributing to the decline in marriage rates. People are more likely to get divorced than in the past, for a variety of reasons, including: Unhappy marriages. Infidelity. Abuse. Financial problems.
I think the changes in the thinking pattern of society, socio-economic conditions, personal thoughts and believes are deterring people from marrying. Its not just women but men also dont want to marry. But mostly I feel women are villanised for not wanting to marry.
bcz modern women are getting more and more hypergamous and gold-digger day by day. They are interested in only top 20% men who have house, cars and lot of money. The bottom 80% guys dont find girls and later get bitter for marriage. And one more factor - gender biased laws in India which always penalise husband.
Keep begging for jobs or start your own business. Jobs are created by people who start their own business. Why are we indians so brilliant at working for others instead of working for ourselves and our country? There's not a single benefit to getting married for a modern man pretty much in any culture. In the old days, wives used to be dedicated to the family and expectations were grounded, that gave man the flexibility to focus on work and career to in turn provide for his family. It's relentless and endless suffering for men.
Very true marriage is like sacrificing your entire life for someone else that is not acceptable ...marriage made real sense in olden times when there was true love, care , compassion
I don't know where you got this information that the marriages were picture perfect in olden times. It was not. Marriage was always a business deal kinda thing, for selfish reasons. People got married because they needed kid to continue their legacy, or have someone when they get old. Men took wives to do the house chores and to look after their old parents. Women got married because they didn't have any money or any place to go, they didn't inherit anything from their family. It was never about love but a give and take relation. And let's not forget about the abuses women went through.

To some women, it is oppressive. I mean most man has every right to decide when, where how or whatever... Even hurt his wife without many if any consequences... I mean part of the reason the bride family cry is just not because the girl moving out of the family home... It is because their daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter is at the mercy of the man. If he's a good man great! But if he's not or changes over time because of circumstances, he most likely takes out his frustration, anger on the wife.... So sad but true... And that is the world over. It is heart breaking and young girls who find their voices and strength would rather stay single... It's about being humane to your spouse... These women just simple choose safety.
This started with Gen x generation and now has triggered into my generation Millinieal. Marriage back then my parents age men and women desired traditional marriage and would work to keep it with value behind it whereas now there is an outright war and insults of male and females fighting everyday about superficial wants of what they want in a marriage that has nothing to do with LOVE and the economy in every country is not great for families and children. Sad world we live in.
Real problem lies not in institution of marriage but in population explosion. With world becoming a global village ,the ambitions of people have grown tremendously that can only be met if populations are downsized across countries . With affordable gadgets in every hand ,people get to know about everything but cannot have it .People can get married even with low means but to survive that relationship you need good value system . On top of that additional expectations of family and workplace put excessive stress that can only be reduced (or we think so) by being financially secure . This stress needs a vent but these days people are so sensitive and nobody wants to sacrifice so they opt out of marriage , children , parent's responsibilities . In the end all their money goes to some trust or govt or mafia . Conclusion is that we need to trim population by at least 100 times so that everyone can have balanced and satisfactory life.
If partners have no faith in relationship then there is no need of relationship. Now people are facing trust deficit everywhere. Boys have multiple sex partners, girls too have many sex partners. They just want sex not the relationship. There are plenty of betrayal stories. I think if everyone has become so selfish then why not alone live a happy life. Women need men just for money and luxuries and Men need Women just for sex. In present days, there is no sense of adjustment, understanding and sacrifice in the relationship then why not end the relationship institution. Just do whatever you want to do with your money.
@okbyebye9586 Ohh, and like married people are not self-centered and utterly selfish.....come on man who is being immature now😅.......and life is not about adjustment and compromising.....life is about freedom and liberation.......marriage has no freedom, privacy or even upliftment in oneself life .........perhaps you need to grow up.

@okbyebye9586 dude....if you want to learn what love is first go read bhagwat gita, upanishads, even Bible......every spiritual source will tell you with logic...that love is about liberation, when you are in love you don't have to adjust, you become more free from your desires. And about my family, trust me, I'm not even kidding, but my parents are so called happy married couple from the last 27 years but I know that they are not free.......they have so much unnecessary exhausting responsibilities on them that doesn't even matter actually and they could have lived so awesome life without being married. And I learned love from the best, the scriptures, and the sages, so I don't give a damn what your misunderstanding definition of love is.
In India also this concept is disappearing because still such society and in laws exists who can’t see their daughter in law growth They want them to leave their job after marriage and becomes housewife and if girls decide to do then she harassed by mother in law and husband Girls going through a lot of trauma because of backward thinking of mother in law and she kept manipulating their son against his wife and then situation reaches to mental trauma and divorce and being single mother So much burden Husband wants from wife that they forgot about their own family and now just focus on his family But why ? Marriage is decision of two adults then how come it get trapped between in laws manipulations Girls being treated by their in laws like you are living in our home so has to move according to us and even girls family members treated badly That’s why it is necessary that after marriage both lives separately So that whether girls parents or boys parent no one can dominate And things can go smoothly for a newly couple
China is one of the oldest civilizations. Their culture and customs are rich. Hope they retain it. But getting married or not it is their choice. Staying single is preferrable for them it is fine. I think it is trend happening in other countries also. Even in India I am seeing a little growth of this trend or choice
I tell young men that feminism is great. We no longer have to be providers and protectors. We no longer have to slave away to feed a family. We are free and don't even know it. This should be talked about and celebrated. I tell them to never ask a woman out and certainly never pay on a date. Women have their careers and high paying jobs.
It's happening in Europe and the US too. Why get married when it's not necessary for sex, parenthood or career? It's so expensive, especially if it doesn't work out. You have to go to college and get a degree to make a livable wage and 5 years to establish your career. By then, you're 9 years older and you have less time to find someone to marry. Governments everywhere must help make marriage financially sensible.
Ok so most of the comments don't actually know the ground reality in China, due to the one child policy there are fewer younger people which means that a family comprising of a couple would have to take care of 4 older people plus kids. China is expensive getting a mortgage, raising a kid and taking care of elderly people is a hell of a burden, it is far more expensive than India and currently there are at least 15 million new individuals coming into the workforce each year with lower and lower job prospects being available. Earlier generations had it easy comparatively.
@@cheng-s8r 我建议您使用英语,以便其他人可以理解您的评论。 我会用英语回复你,以便其他人明白。 Wages are getting lower in China as there are too many people trying to get the few jobs that are available, The average wages have decreased by a significant amount and quite a few companies in places like Dongguan and Shenzhen have shut down. A portion of companies have decided to move out of China to Vietnam and India instead. I do a lot of export trading and my supplier confirm the downturn in business this year after lifting of covid restrictions. In regards to India the unemployment rate is currently at around 7-8% while in China its around 20% as reported by Goldman Sachs. The 1.8 fertility rate is an official number by the goverment, can that even be believed? The one child policy was very stringent while it may have been more relaxed in rural areas. Taking care of one's parents is just one part of the responsibilities of average chinese, they have to deal with high costs for child rearing, mortgages, long work hours. I have seen so many families where both parents need to work just to support their families. I have been in China long enough that you don't need to sugar coat it.

You are correct.
Disrepsctful children?
Sorry of my life.
It's parents fault when children are lazy and unrespectful. They let their mothers or someone else to look after them while they go out for work. Don't blame the children.
Everyone wants money and forgets about the family and kids.
Both men and women should think of priorities in life which are children and family.
@@sonaliv1489 even in the olden days both the parents were away for work. In fact they had more children against one or two children these days. Per capita was far more less. Nothing prevented the unity, happiness of the families. Now look at the families. How traumatic every day life is with all riches, sophistication.
Before asking why people getting separated or not marrying..we need to ask why people get married in the first place..
nowadays people see everything in terms of cost and benefits nothing else.. this mindset is perfect for professional success but not for personal happiness..
because real happiness comes from sharing which these people don't understand and even if they do it takes two to tango.
very sensible
In today's world, marriage, and it's twin brother, divorce, are firmly anchored on one thing: Money. And if there happens to be any happiness, it is because there is money.
In an environment like that, cost/benefit analysis before diving in is the only sensible approach.

So true! Children are expensive and parenting is time and energy consuming.
Damn, that's deep and very thoughtful
If you notice it is women who are more interested in NOT getting married. Somehow society has convinced them being a mother and a home maker is something to be looked down upon. Being a wage slave at some office is applauded. However their natural instinct is to be a homemaker. End result? They are more unhappy than ever this proving humans humans are less intelligent than most animals.
Excellent point!❤
Actually nobody is pointing out the real thing. The problem is that there are so many liars nowdays both men and women who foolishly think that they can just con someone by lying about themselves. They think once you marry the other person is trapped and now they will come out with their true colors. But what they fail to understand is that why anybody will put up with their lies? The geese have a successful relationship because they did not lie to each other. They presented themselves the way they are.
So true. Stable relationships are rare now that narcissism has infiltrated our culture. It's difficult (impossible for me) to find a person stable enough to have a long-term relationship with.
marriage is an outdated concept even here in India people who are wise don't want to get married

Few tips for good marriage-
1) no girl or boy is bad, u just have to see that it suits u or not, coz uurs definition of good and bad changes with years
2) don't have too much expectations, if possible have zero expectations.
3) dont look for that ideal husband or wifey material, no body is ideal like movies
4) don't try to control uur partner, ( very important) , and honestly don't even try to control anything, neither kids nor wife not anything, otherwise u will be depressed.
5) focus on what u give, rather than what u get, by this u will even get more than u give
6) please please read astrology and learn human behavior, if u have got a woman whos born on 8/17/26, there's no way that she will ever obey u, so if u know this fact, u will not even have these expectations.
❤❤🙏🏻👍🏻
I think the term good and bad is not merely if a person is good looking and rich. In terms of looking for a husband or a wife, good means mostly kind, responsible, respectful, and loving. If a woman or a man is abusive or disrespectful then he or she is not a good marriage partner. Yes, do not look for a man that is like the lead man in a movie or drama series. This kind of a man does not exist.

Marriage is like betting half of your wealth that you can make her happy forever 😅
And the law gave women above the man and take half his wealth the system is corrupt and the financial system also corrupt what we are earning is not enough for living and everything is high inflation
It's the same in India. Specially men because of expenditure burden and all laws of marriage are anti men . Why sign these kind of contract where there is left no ethics, no morality and then always on losing side.
Infact this is good for the country. They will soon have limited population to take care of and the wealth will be divided among less population making everyone rich.
It doesnt work like that genius
@@siddeshnaik2296 No it doesn't work like that because capitalism is build on growth, not on dividing recources alongst fewer people. If there aren't enough people, the rich won't have enough work slaves to do their bidding. So indeed, it doesn't work like that because capitalist systems won't change.
You are wrong in this 30 percent of elderly means other 40 percent should take care of their kids and elderly it means one person should take care of 2 people its not that easy
In capitalism growth has very important part. Without growth economy will stop

This is very complicated issue facing many countries.
Even the Upper Class are refraining from marriage, Why!!
Look at the Gender biased Laws of India.
No
You are ❌wrong.
The marriage rate is declining in most countries due to a number of factors, including:
The shrinking income of middle and lower-income people, who make up 80% of the population.
People are increasingly choosing to be single, for a variety of reasons, including:
Less anxiety about the future.
Lower tensions.
More focus on their job or career.
More financial independence.
More freedom.
Lesser responsibilities.
The divorce rate is also on the rise, which is contributing to the decline in marriage rates. People are more likely to get divorced than in the past, for a variety of reasons, including:
Unhappy marriages.
Infidelity.
After 2 or three years later. India will definitely face same problem As most of educated persons are not getting jobs .
This is digital godi media they will never talk about it😂
Yes ...no employment... Expensive living cost ... I see even good earning folks are not marrying... Some are delaying marriage...
Keep begging for jobs or start your own business. Jobs are created by people who start their own business. Why are we indians so brilliant at working for others instead of working for ourselves and our country?
Things to ponder, maybe we need to learn more about being an entrepreneur instead of job beggar. We indians do have brains.
Marrying means to halve one's rights and double one's duties

Indians can follow this to reduce population.
Let me tell you the truth, saved you 4 minutes, because the salary didn’t raise for many many years, and the inflation, high costs of living, and real estate price is crazy, even if you didn’t spend any money for anything, you probably still can’t buy a property in your lifetime , in Chinese culture, couples have to buy a property b4 they get married , but these days they can’t afford even their parents willing to pay some part of cost of property with their savings, that’s why that’s why the youths being a slacker which low desires low expenses, I think the East Asian countries Korea, Japan, China their culture is similar and facing the same problems
if government needs new taxpayers or slaves, they must pay for it! pay for wedding, food, housing, having kids, health and education! we work hard to pay for everything but governments taxes us having a family! they want us to have lots of kids but they don't help us in having kids! and the rich and powerful uses us to get richer and richer!

Social media ruined it, people are given the illusion of having many options, not that they dont want ti marry, just that the become too indecisive.
For instance: when the restaurant menu has 200 items and you know you are hungry.
Exactly, social media is the big reason, so many options and unrealistic expectations is the root... people see others and feel inferior to their life leading to all these decisions.. marriage is understanding not vibes matching
@@randomuser78are you stupid, it is about vibes matching, you have to elevate not date! You have to marry someone on your level soulfully not by looking at looks n money n shit that you have to be financially and emotionally independent first'.

There's not a single benefit to getting married for a modern man pretty much in any culture. In the old days, wives used to be dedicated to the family and expectations were grounded, that gave man the flexibility to focus on work and career to in turn provide for his family. Now, getting married will pretty much enslave you to the expectations of your wife, in laws and even your own family to buy a house in a swanky part of town, contribute equally in house work, work overtime to meet your wife's lifestyle, fulfil her emotional needs even when you're basically exhausted and I could go on and on.
It's relentless and endless suffering for men.
It will happen the same to us when we develop to the same stage where they are now . At that stage everyone wants to be independent .
I agree from india marriage z a burden for women
Very true marriage is like sacrificing your entire life for someone else that is not acceptable ...marriage made real sense in olden times when there was true love, care , compassion
Modern marriage is an expensive transaction.
Chivalry is dead. Chivalry was the compensation women received for being the weaker sex. It's gone now. Only neglect and abuse remain.
This is everywhere and not just China. Becoming common now in Africa too.
Sima Aunty got a shout out...maybe she should start matchmaking in China😀
She likes to talk ill of china but china is in fact doing very well
1) China was right on 1 child policy
2) China is right on not marrying
3) China is right on resolving muslim problem.
In fact China is right in many factions. More than India in fact.
I like how china treat stone aged religion..not a single arab countries question china because it's rich 🤑..even they made toilets with debris of mosque stones ..
The problem is availability of tonnes of information. We can have all our desire fulfilled. Before, marriage was a requirement to live a healthy life. Today, it is not. It makes total sense to not get married and live a peaceful life with whatever things you want to pursue in life.
To all people, You can party like no tomorrow, Coz AI is here to make sure of that.
Even Indians dont want to get married! It's not a big deal..unfortunately we have to follow it for the sake of parents and safety

Granny : why this idiots don't get married. modern world : It's quite simple what's in it for me.
Totally agreed
As working population decreases employers must pay more and provide a more congenial atmosphere.
Your Work is great Ma'am but apart from news , the channels volume is low. kindly raise the volume whenever the show is live or recorded.
Le me : who is searching for true love and life long partner😢 in today's hookup world

I hope this also gets normalized in India soon. Marriage really sucks🥲
Marriage sucks to immature selfcentered people who never wants to adjust and cooperate with their partner.

In India also this concept is disappearing because still such society and in laws exists who can’t see their daughter in law growth
They want them to leave their job after marriage and becomes housewife and if girls decide to do then she harassed by mother in law and husband
Girls going through a lot of trauma because of backward thinking of mother in law and she kept manipulating their son against his wife and then situation reaches to mental trauma and divorce and being single mother
So much burden
Husband wants from wife that they forgot about their own family and now just focus on his family
But why ?
Marriage is decision of two adults then how come it get trapped between in laws manipulations
Girls being treated by their in laws like you are living in our home so has to move according to us and even girls family members treated badly
That’s why it is necessary that after marriage both lives separately
So that whether girls parents or boys parent no one can dominate
And things can go smoothly for a newly couple
Nobody wants to get married these days.
If I was a Chinese woman I probably wouldn’t want to be married either. You are literally at the mercy of your in laws and they run your life.
China and India cannot worry about marriage and children. Combined they are already more than one third of humanity. Slow down guys.

Ccp will incubate soldiers and workers in a bottle.
Many young Chinese people do not get married because of the high pressure of life!
A man who wants to get married needs a house, a stable job, and a lot of money for girls!
For example:
A man earns 10000 yuan per month from work, but in a very ordinary city, a house with an area of 80-100 square meters costs around 1.5-2 million yuan, and when getting married, he also needs to give 200000 to 500000 yuan to the girl's family!
Earlier generations had it easy comparatively.
nah ... materialism has a lot to do with it too

Wages are getting lower in China as there are too many people trying to get the few jobs that are available, The average wages have decreased by a significant amount and quite a few companies in places like Dongguan and Shenzhen have shut down.
Housing is maybe too expensive.
Marriage always benefits men. Women choose not to get indulge in that. Daily unpaid labor.
I guess it is vice versa
That's very good. Indians should also do that.
