Thankful to this video as I successfully installed my Gosund smart light switch and paired with Alexa. Now, it works smoothly.
The install was quick and easy. It connected to the network just as fast. I already had the app and registered on there so I was ready once they went live to set them up. I was curious how easily they would be to connect to my Alexa devices after the initial setup, but it was simple! They work every time from the app or by using my echos.
Easy to connect! Enjoying my Gosund products now!
Great! Thanks for this great installation guide! I am enjoying my Gosund products now.
The product is simple, easy to configure and an affordable way to add smart capability to any situation in my case I use it to automatically control my reptile's basking heat light and uvb through Alexa. Perfect value...!!!
I only have a black and white and a green ground coming out of my box. What can I do about the red wire that is on the new switch.
Thats my issue also.... black, white, and bare copper only
Dang, your wires looks scarier than mine 😅 I was able to install my Gosund Light Switch with no problem 😆
This video help us a lot when it comes to installation and wiring, and when this smart light switch installed in your home so convinient to monitor your light status with your smartphone !! so grab your smart light switch now !!

These are incredible. We have one for our porch light and set it to turn the light on at sundown and off at sun set. Great Alexa integration. Highly recommend!
Hi! I am replacing my old programmable timer with a GOSUND light switch. My old programmable switch only also had 4 wires, the blue, white and green are connected to their respective matches but the red wire was capped but not connected to anything. I see some red wires in the electrical box connected to a different switch. I believe those will be part of a different switch. Can anyone help? Any ideas?
Do you know if these switches work on a 3 way switch? Not sure where the traveling black wire goes?
we are sorry that the switch is a single pole switch, does not work on a 3 way switch. We have plan for 3 way switches this year. If you need our reminder for 3 way switch release, please let us know, thank you!
I have a white, black and a bare wire for ground. Will this work with this switch?
Unfortunately not.
I don't have a ground wire to connect the green wire to. What can i do?
I have Gosund Smart Light Switch, in-Wall WiFi switch and its stopped working, any sugestions?
I am replacing a regular switch. The wall box does not have anything more than 1 black wire and 1 white wire. There doesn't seem to be a separate set of wires going to the room's light fixture. How do I wire the Gosund KS-602S to my stuff?
we provide technical support by email. We request you to send your query to our technical support team to service@gosund.com.
Check the back of the box. Sometimes these wires that feed the fixture are pushed to the back. You must have a hot black and a switch leg black or red in that box
@@chrislatham608 unless it's a dead end switch, where the power is in the light fixture
I found this demo incomplete. I have 3 wires in my existing light switch. The gosund ks-620 has 4 inputs for wires. The demonstrator in this video does not explain which wires are for what or how to install the wires into the gosund smart wall switch. If someone else can explain and/or demonstrate better, please do so. Thanks
I only have two wires. I'm confused as hell.
the red wire will connect with the appliance wire. The black wire is hot wire. The white wire is neutral wire and the green wire is for earthing. Hope this helps.
@@danielkaplan1978 if you have only two wires, you can't use our smart switch. Our smart switch needs single neutral wire.
Okay... I have mine figured out. I had to dig deeper. The people who built the house sprayed all my wiring with some white junk for some reason, so I thought I was short a few wires.
If you don’t have the white wires (neutral) you must have older wiring and can’t run these switches.
Gail, if you don’t have four wires, it depends upon which one you don’t have. The green wire is “ground.” It can attach to most metal in the wall. You technically don’t even have to run it to anything.
Hope it will work with me cuz I’m getting mine tomorrow
I don't have a red wire, but I have a Black In and a Black Load wire. Will this work?
Yup, as long as you know which wire is the HOT wire, the other black will be what your switch is turning on.
I have a black wire a white wire and the ground on my existing switch. How do I hook 4 wires to those?
seems you don't have a neutral wire and without having that, this smart switch isn't going to work.
@@VideoNOLA but the red is load, that means the output. We need it to go to the White...
My KS602F has two travelers, one load, one neutral, and the ground. This video didn’t help at all.
What if the I only have two wires coming out of my wall (black and white)?..
everyone only has 2 wires but no one answered the dam question. call a plumber
Hello, I recently bought two smart switches (KS602S), and I have a problem and that is that the LED light on the switch is too bright and I have to cover it with something to sleep on. Is there any way to graduate the intensity?
I am sorry but there is no solution for this.
works with 220v ?
3:24 He means "Search for 'Smart Life' app" not "Smart Home".
Stupid question, how the hell do you take the new screw less face plate off??
It's easy. You just have to pull it out like how you pull out the back cover of your smart phone.
I have a problem. I can’t seem to get it to work , I have all the wires and I connected them all together. When I turn on the breaker the lights turn on the the switch is not turning them off. HELLP ANYONE
Can you please write an email to our technical support team regarding the problem you are facing? Their email is service@gosund.com. They being technical expert would be in a good condition to provide you prompt assistance and thus fix the problem. Write them in detail what is the problem and they will help you fix it. Thanks.
@@gosundofficial Your technical support team doesnt' respond to emails. You guys suck
The problem your seeing is the plate. The switch is beveled and if u use a different plate other than the one provided it pushing the button.

MY LIGHT stays solid. Why?
This is not a very helpful video and Go Sund should reconsider branding this video. No safety mention, no info on the difference of wires... not a good vidi.
Step back from the wall. Have someone else handles the camera. B
