Excellent, Father! Yours is the wisdom from above. We need more priests like you who can boldly explain and defend the Faith! Sadly, most Catholic Lite priests and bishops rely more on their human wisdom than seek the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. They are more inclined to be politically correct so as not to offend than imitate Jesus who speak the Truth no matter how unpopular it is to the world. God bless you Father for all that you do. Will keep you in my prayers.🙏🙏🙏
I think the question is what do you mean by Hell. It is one thing to state the likelihood that he has been everlastingly excluded from the state of the blessed in Heaven, that is, has not been granted the supernatural participation in the life of God. However, popular ideas of Hell such as that God afflicts persons endlessly with unmitigated tortures, whether in literal fire or otherwise, and that they experience nothing in the way of mercy from God, seem to me to be a terrible misinterpretation of Scripture and a misrepresentation of the character of God.
The Bible says that Peter denied Jesus 3 times but he was forgiven after the first resurrection. Peter felt such regret pain and guiltless to himself. Well, Judas felt the guilt and remorse after he through the 30 pieces of silver back at the temple guy when he earned that for handing Jesus over to them. Jesus told all of his disciples at passover at last supper will you follow me even to death? He foretold someone betraying him. He knew it was coming. He knew when he prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane He would be apprehended. He knew it was Judas, He knew He had to die. He kissed Jesus on the face and Jesus asked him you betrayed the Son of Man with a kiss? Judas felt guilty. His Guilt and even Greed for money made him hang himself. The Bible says sin won't enter in. Repentence is a must. Forgiveness by Repentence is a must. Suicide is a sin and you can't be repenting through Suicide. So... is Judas in Hell? I'm almost certain he is. You can't repent and kill yourself at the same time. He isolated himself from Jesus. Yes, Judas is an example to all of us. Sin won't enter in.
We have some differing accounts about Judas. One says he returned the money to the Priests, then he repented. The priests did not see any harm to punish him. So Judas Punished himself. Some see it as suicide. I see it as doing the honorable thing. A self-execution. Peter give us a different account of Judas. So either Peter or Matthew did not tell the truth. And since Jesus say, while on the Cross, "Father forgive them". If that refers to all who put him on the Cross, that should start with Judas. Nobody really knows who is in Heaven or Hell. But after understanding things. It seems Judas was forgiven. I certainly forgive him.
Thank you this was very well backed and informative. God bless you.

Pharaoh repented too - and Moses knew he was insincere
The Pharaoh repented?
If his fate were so certain why is there such uncertainty.
Bible doesn’t say nothing of Judas is in hell , nor Adam and Eve that betrayed god
