For everyone who asks about lingual lipase, here's the explanation from what I learnt. Lingual lipase is inactive at such PH. It gets activated in the highly acidic PH (1.8) in the stomach where it acts on lipids alongwith the enzyme Gastric lipase produced by stomach. As a result, the lipids would get broken down into triglycerides and monoglycerides paving the way for the pancreatic lipase to act upon them (Triglycerides). Lingual and gastric lipase hydrolyse only 30% of lipids. The remaining is carried out by pancreatic lipase (steapsin) and intestinal lipase. Hope it's helpful :)
Mam. I think In mouth , lingual lipases are present and so there is digestion of lipids , There are no proteolytic enzymes so no protein digestion . At 2:40..... If i am not wrong

yes you are right . by the stimulus given by the autonomic nervous system the serous gland which is a part of salivary gland under mainly lingual papillae secreats lingual lipase and it jointly acts with saliva . it can hydrolyse the fatty food within 20 min alone .
Vikram Gandhi ji yah you are right.. mam ki aise ek bhi video nahi hai jo koi dislike kar sake... ek ek video mein toh 0 dislike hote hain..parantu pata nahi kon dislike karte hain... jo v dislike karte honge , unhe dunia mein koi v biology nahi samjha payega.... hamare hisab se neela mam se best biology koi padha hi nahi sakta👍👍👍

Mam at 2:33 u said that there is no fat digestion in buccal cavity...
But i think there is Ebner's glands that secrete lingual lipase.....
Just secrete not digest
Active in stomach
@@hammadjutt8616 what u said is true.
The fat digestion is intimated by Lingula lipase enzyme.
Best Lectures on fat digestion beacuse it's suitable, step by step pointwise form 🤝♥️
My friend can i use all of these lectures for Neet. Reply please🙏
Thanks a lot ma'am...!!💥🙏
easily digestable class..thnk u mam...

I like this tips of online tuition. I understand all the fat digestion .
Thank you mam so much for detail explaination
Just wonderful...
Ooo ma'am it's really really appreciated your hard work...
You are a very understandable ....
Ma'am in buccal cavity, an enzyme called lingual lipase secreted by tongue. Ma'am what is its role

What about the little lipid digestion that occurs in the buccaneers cavity with the help of enzyme LINGUAL LIPASE?
It's correct but not mentioned
in buccal cavity dont we have lingual lipase?
This is very helpful ma'am
Best inculcation by you mam......and thank u 4 supporting......
Wonderful mam ur 😊
Whta about lingual lipase mam
mam glycerol bananay ke bad kahan jaya ga
I love your all videos . your way of explaining the things is really appreciable and very - very nice. Even the notes that you have made its also very nice and helpful .
Mam plz make video on fat metabolism
U ar the best mam for biology
What about lingual lipase ma'am??
Superb mam
mam thank you so much for such an explanation 🙏🙏🙏..........
Mam Fatty acid or lipid ak hi hote ha ya alag alag hote ha
fatty acid carboxylic acid ko kehty hain jo glycerol sy combine hokr fat banata hai
Thank you mam 😊
thanks maam you explain very well :-)
Mam thank you I understand now digestion can you please tell me what book I should refer, for physiology I am a msc. Student 😍😍😊😊
mam please upload next vedios

mam you are genius....
Thanku so much Mam
Thankuuuu mammm soo muchhh...
I have one doubt
In saliva there is lingual lipase
Can't it digest fats???
Anyone pls tell
Only for infants because they drink their mother's milk. But not for older people
@@snootypoot2479 That is not fat
It is milk protein called Casin in case of infants and it is digested by the enzyme Rennin
Lingual lipase and gastric lipase both digest very little amount of fat about 20 -30% in stomach only
I have no word for u mam.. big thankx :)
ma'am , you said that there is no lipase in Saliva but there is the lingual lipase present is saliva.
jainil Daredia.. it is weaker than gastric lipase it has no action

sorry sir it is not weaker it can work alone and just takes 20 min to hydrolyse
ohh ok..btw thanks,😊👍
arka chowdhury but it cannot get 20 minutes in mouth or oesophagus
Biology means......you! Mam
mam you are awesome
Saliva alsi contain lingual lipase....nice explained by the way😅
tq
super mam
too good
😘
thanks mam
