Hello, I'm the author of that "Jazzy Piano Cover". Thanks for the tutorial and I just cannot imaging this can be part of hip-hop music. Very cool, dude!
Kurwa kocham takie tutoriale !
If you use the FPC just make sure it's empty.....you can drag the slices from Edison to the pads on the FPC....just make sure that you use the cut to turn to make them stop when you want the next one to start....then just map them to your keyboard....hope this makes sense....I use both methods.
Bruh, y'all have no respect, there's a million ways to chop in fl, not only that if you're gonna complain, make your own tutorial on the subject . The mf internet has made people to "tough" 😒
@Doctorfreek if you can play piano, yes. but sampling isnt just with piano, you can sample everything if you got the imagination, and sampling has its own feel to it, if you jsut play it, it wouldnt sound the same at all
@SomeFamousPolak yes, you can create your own sounds, synths, kicks, basses etc from a basic sound, one of the good vst's i would recomend for this is sytrus :)
We fl users get whip cause i'll samples be in mp3,and all of you who don't know just download youtube mp3 converter and download samples from youtube.copy the video link and paste it in the converter. To get that vinyl sound download the izotop vinyl vst it's an effect and it put that dirt to that mp3.
@VergMygel That the thing its not clear one minute you drag the sample into edison the next it freezem the next thing its in your patterns playing perfectly please explain.
@VergMygel I always check out different ways of doing things.it never hurts to learn different ways to do things.you should have labeled it for beginners.
I think it would be easier to assign each sample to an individual key on a midi controller so you can fool around with it and get your feels going haha
@VergMygel Whenever I use that button to drag it into the slicer it seems to work fine, but when I hit play....nothing plays. And when I go into piano roll and actually click on the slices it doesn't play anything either.
1. select sample, 2.edit in edison, 3. slice in edison, 4 insert fruity slicer or slice x, 5, send to piano roll.... correct?....please respond....for those who dont know how to figure the bpm on the sampl its as easy as using the tap tool right click on bpms and select tap and tap ...its automatically gonna figure out the bpm u just need rhythm..lol
What 'm trying to figure out is why when I slice it in edison it doesnt slice it exactly how your markers are and I'm selecting the exact same options in regions....any reason for this?
Does Fl studio actually have the ability for one to be able to make there own music on the program or must I record off a real instrument and then putting it together on fl studio?
dude when -i do the marker stuff on 3:21 and the drag what i made in edison to the basic slicing the sound does not work... I mean, the fruity slicer does not play the "notes". any ideia why that happens?
can you maybe help me? I'm going crazy .. The Edison in my fl won't load songs, it won't decode. Well I drag the song on the empty space,it stays empty..

"A Beautiful Hell" by Cities Aviv uses the first sample that was played.

Its from the 9th Wonder Producer Kit , you can google it , I got it from a torrent site.hope that helps.
can u please tell me how you made that hip hop beat?
@VergMygel I always check out different ways of doing things.it never hurts to learn different ways to do things.you should have labeled it for beginners.

when you opened the piano roll how did you get to drums etc to start playing with the sliced notes as you placedd them
where is the first sample from at the beginning of the video?
sounds amazing
I see you have the Vengeance samples. Which snare did you use? and maybe some rough tips on how you EQed it? :D thanks in advance
great method! thx 4 ths
I thought my ipad is lagging but I just realized it was you lol
can u make an link to that kick, hihat and snare? they are dope
You can do this w FL. Nice...I need all of your UA-cam video on FL.
How did you figure out what notes to use or did you just play around with it to see what sounded best?
I always mention this in every beat making video. How to add bassline if you do not know how to play the piano? !
@skySofa im not sure, but you can just put it in slicex instead, it should work fine then :)
which sample pack do you use for drums? you got any good tips on where to get good samples?
did you know the tempo of the jazzy piano cover? or did you format it yourself?
I like this haha
nice video bra ,i like them samples you have, how can i download them?
hi, i was wondering if logic has any plugins like edison or something like that to chop the sample up and make it easily editable in piano roll..
Any idea where you got that snare from? I would love to have it.
1. select sample, 2.edit in edison, 3. slice in edison, 4 insert fruity slicer or slice x, 5, send to piano roll.... correct?....please respond....for those who dont know how to figure the bpm on the sampl its as easy as using the tap tool right click on bpms and select tap and tap ...its automatically gonna figure out the bpm u just need rhythm..lol
@dudeordude18 push the little square by the arrow in the top of the step sequencer
I just did everything you did and I cannot here the sample once I put it in slicer any ideals on what I'm doing wrong
What was that beginning smooth jazz song? I've heard it before.
@VergMygel I know all about sampling but my point is the section you added was so simple what's the point?
Ok i did what u did but everytime i send to piano roll then to fruity slicer i trt to play a slice and it doesnt play. hlp
So sick
What 'm trying to figure out is why when I slice it in edison it doesnt slice it exactly how your markers are and I'm selecting the exact same options in regions....any reason for this?
Bro what soundkit did u use for the piano sample? please respond
Hey, great tutorial! But this doesn't work with too long musics for me (more than 30 sec) :/
Does Fl studio actually have the ability for one to be able to make there own music on the program or must I record off a real instrument and then putting it together on fl studio?
@Doctorfreek the point is to give beginners an idea or a starting point in sampling, if you know all about sampling, what is you doing on my tut then?
@VergMygel how come we dont have to? does it automatically timestretch the sample to fit our project tempo?
dude when -i do the marker stuff on 3:21 and the drag what i made in edison to the basic slicing the sound does not work... I mean, the fruity slicer does not play the "notes". any ideia why that happens?
@ 0:59 thats the sample to Ma$e's "24 hours to live"
7:44 omg i love it 9:21
how did you make the beat? and what did you use?
ok the sound won't work when i use the fruity slicer, is there something i did wrong or what? please get back to me.
when you drag the sample over at 03:20 , after you slice the beat I still don't get any sound :(
@burn5495 try putting it in slicex instead, that should work
Really liking your drum samples.. mind sharing? Vore jävligt snällt! :)
UA-cam "jazzy piano cover" and it's the first one that pops up and then google a youtube mp3 ripper and rip it.
i drag my sliced edison song to slices but when i hit play it doesnt respond. pattern is in movement but there is no sound. pls help?
What drum kit are you using?
thanks bro
wouldn't it be easier just to play the piano part yourself?
Where did you get those samples from in the beginning?
can you maybe help me? I'm going crazy .. The Edison in my fl won't load songs, it won't decode. Well I drag the song on the empty space,it stays empty..
thank you
So...how can I controll the tempo of the loop or the pitch??
what "thing" is you piano roll grid set on?
@g3son482 try putting it in slicex instead, that should work :)
does this method require the sample to be a certain amount of bars?
okay thanks man
