    I am a very fit 80 year old so I have been dabbling at stock for a while. Your videos have given me the encouragement. I have been using Dreamstime for quite some time exclusively. I just discovered that they are taking my title and description to create keywords. They always did this in the past using my words but now AI is adding more relevant keywords to the mix. The better your description, the more relevant keywords. Thank you for your work.

      Love that! Thank you! I was so mad when all of my pictures were getting rejected, then I figured out why 😅

    I can only repeat the others, however basic the topic is, you never fail to give me one tip I did not know!
    And they do work! In my first 2 month, with only 100 images, I already made almost 6 bucks, which is way more for starting out than what I expected

    Can you recommend shutter speed settings? I don't have a tripod yet so I'm hand holding.

    • @wollertz
      @wollertz  Місяць тому

      It depends on you, your camera and lens. wide angles you can hand hold at slower speeds, if the lens or camera has image stabilization or in body stabilization, this will help. test your limits with your gear, and work within your limits. with my 15-35 i can handhold at 1/10sec with the 24-70 1/50 sec and with the 70-200 1/100 sec

      @@wollertz Okay but does shutter speed have to be low? Like does it affect image quality? I mean I know when you use low shutter speed and you don’t hand hold very well you get motion blur, but can’t I just leave my shutter speed high like 1/200, 1/320 so I get correct sharp images instead of stressing my self with low shutter speed😂, I’m just starting to understand these camera settings thanks to your videos, I know I still have much to learn, maybe you can make a short video or UA-cam short on that for people like me who don’t understand too, thank you

    • @wollertz
      @wollertz  Місяць тому

      You can, but I’m dark situations you need more light, and if the shutter speed is high and the aperture is wide open all you have left is ISO and if that goes to high it will ruin your photo

      @@wollertz Hmmm…thank you

    • @wollertz
      @wollertz  Місяць тому

      It’s all a balance, knowing your limits will help and also your equipment limits, some lenses are only sharp at f/8 for example, so if you go wider than that instead of lowering the shutter speed you will end up with a photo that won’t get accepted

    On the focal points.. not all mirrorless can go edge to edge. Canon can. I think the non-Z9 Nikons can go near the edge. (IIRC) Sony can go edge to edge.

      Still way better than 60 points all in the middle 🤷‍♂️

    Lightroom Mobile and ON1 on tablet can both handle raw and i know LR is free on mobile.
