Love starting my Sunday with your content. Thank you
Thank you so much for this comment!
Thank you, so much for every video you are making. I am really greatful, that i found your yt channel and your instagram and learn so much. Be blessed!
Awesome! I’m glad!! Thanks so much for the coment!!
Great channel love watching it. Even started putting some stuff on a couple of sites over the last couple of weeks. Starting off small aiming for 20 photos a week to see what happens.
Thats awesome! thanks for sharing, slow and steady is a vry good strategy! Best of luck!
@@wollertzMy first step was getting some photos accepted running about 1 in 4 and knowing what is acceptable. The next step is getting the keywords correct. Just about to look back again at your previous videos on this. All the best to you.
Thanks for the insights!
My pleasure!
Great information as usual Thank you for sharing it with us any chance to make a video on how to use a GoPro since I saw you using it in one of your videos while you were rafting Thankyou again for all the knowledge take care and stay safe
Thanks for the idea and comment!
Thanks so much for your information! 😊
You are welcome!
Great info, Thanks Charlie!!
Thanks Paul! 🙂
Great video, tnx :)
Have you maybe done a video where you compare profit from those agencies and explain possibble resons in income difference?
Thanks!
I have not, and after this video I got a few email warnings from agencies, apparently it is in their very long and unreadable contract that contributors are not supposed to share this type of info on Social Media, so my days of talking and comparing agencies are over 🤷♂. All I can do is continue with the Stock Photo Games, where I compare images form the same time frame and similar subject and give my opinion on why I think 1 has sold more than the other 🤷♂

HI, really like your content, thanks a lot for all those tricks! I have two questions, 1.) do you have a recommendation or critics on tools like dropstock that upload at multiple times, saving time on that tedious process of uploading on each platform separately? 2.) Do you keyword your photos in darktable or lightroom first or on the different platforms? I was wondering if that might be double work, to do that for each photo when editing it e.g. and then again in the different platforms. Thanks a lot 🙂
Yes and yes. Ive been using ImStocker studio lately and it saves a lot of time, I also keyword everything in lightroom and when I export the jpgs all of the keywords are built into the metadada, but now ImStocker Vision is a new way to use AI to help keyword and it works seamlessly with studio so it keywords and uploads to all agencies via ftp. bit time saver

Very good video. also informative 💌
Thank you!
Great work 👏👏
Thank you!
Most welcome 🙌
Great info!
I know!
Can you upload main brand photos like coke or Pepsi ?
Only as editorial or illustrative editorial, its a little more restrictive but if you want to sell images commercially you need property or model releases for anyone or any recognizable brand
a blessing
🙌🏼
excellent content
Thank you!
123RF I have around 15-20 images which have been waiting for approval since March or so. 13:03
Make sure all of the info is there, in the past I’ve had images waiting and waiting and it was because I forgot to add a detail 🤷♂️

I was wondering , if you had to copyright, these photos before submitting them to the agency . On Lightroom , as I saw a video on how to copy write them on Lightroom . Is that a necessary step ?
It’s not necessary, it’s easy to do with lightroom but it really doesn’t do much, if you pressed the shutter the photo is yours. The agencies will protect you to the best of their abilities
@@wollertz ok 👍🏽 excellent ! Many thanks 🙏🏽
I thought the Adobe Illustrative Editorial was only allowed after you have a certain number of accepted images?
🤔 that might be correct I have to check, I’ve had an account since before it was Adobe stock so I’m not sure
Hi Charles,
Do stock agencies accept tiff file format? What is the minimum and maximum file sizes?
Regards, Jack
Some agencies allow you to upload the RAW or Tiff file with the JPG, but for the most part jpgs are preferred. most have a minimum resolution of 4mp and a max of 100mp with maximum file size of around 45MB
@@wollertz Thanks
Nice video. How many sales you have on iStock this year?
To be honest I cant find a number getty is the worst when displaying statistics but this past month was the only month of 2023 thatI didn't get a payout, I was short $17 😅
@@wollertz You can find the number in Account Management section and then select Profile
858 photos and 10 videos
great! @@wollertz
Great videos, but i was wondering if there was a particular reason why you don’t use FTP transfer to save tremendous amounts of time uploading to each stock website? Something like xpiks. Would love to know!
Thanks! I do that when I’m uploading hundreds of photos, when its a small number like this and for the video showing each agency it’s easy enough to do batches, but yes good point most want you to use ftp when uploading more than 100 images
@@wollertz Do you have a recommended FTP app that you use? I can't choose which one to try out. Thank you for your videos :)
@AlinyanArt For the longest time I used go-stock but I don't think it is available anymore, now I use filezilla pro. I use it for videos because I'm not doing large batches of photos as much any more!
@@AlinyanArt Xpiks is pretty great. Paid but worth it imo. Supports pretty much every medium to big stock sites you’d need to upload to, offers an easy UI to navigate
@@wollertz Thank you!
I uploaded 200 photos on eyeem no single dollars please guide
ua-cam.com/video/_4VkRWJkA4Q/v-deo.html
200 images is not enough, you will need thousands.
👍
🙏
Nine, I only do four and that is hard enough. Can't talk about Shutterstock, there is another stock agency that doesn't want you to talk about submitting images to them.
Thanks! 4 is enough for sure!
I hope I didn't mention the other agency it in this video 😅
You did and I received a rather nasty email from them. Their contract if read closely actually states that you are not allowed to say that you submit images to them@@wollertz
I guess I’ll wait for the email. I’ve just recently started reading the contracts 😅 way too much in them
It's very easy to miss@@wollertz
Can I make money with GoPro in the microstock market?
Maybe with Timelapse, the photo and video from GoPro are just not good enough. Unless it is unique and newsworthy 🤷♂️
Getty is a pain in the rear.
Yes it is 😂 but I do sell a good amount
thank you and also thank me for waching this video , please tell me about most photos. i am a shutterstock contributor, is mostphotos pay via payooner? iam bangladeshi so paypal not allow in my country, and did i upload a batch of file without caption or discription ? i have 10000 images and i was looking for this kinnd of website for a long time
Hi thanks, I believe mostphotos cando bank transfers and paypal, im not sure. as far as descriptions and titles yes they are necessary. If you need help I can recommend AI tools to simplify this process.

Do you use IStock?
I'm just confused little bit , is Gettyimages own Istock?
I do not upload to Istock I use ESP by getty, its a division of them where I don't have to be exclusive, thinks might have changed by now but years ago you had to be exclusive with Getty or iStock and i didn't want that @@olgaphoto.studio
