TX seems to have more than its share of bullies. Back in the 1960s we enjoyed South Padre Island, Brownsville & San Antonio. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and it was one of our favorite states to visit. I'm 80 and can't travel anymore but I wouldn't care to go anywhere without my wife who passed away in 2021.
