- Bidding on 2 overgrown yards without even seeing pictures of them.
The second yard almost broke me with its knee high grass and uneven terrain.

Who Are You?
I’m a part time mower guy from Sydney, Australia and I enjoy making videos of yard transformations.
Why do you do...?
I haven’t been doing this forever and I don’t profess to know everything.
Happy to hear alternate methods and efficient ways of doing things.
That utility mower is a beast! Don't ever get rid of it. I love the work you do, please continue to help others.I admire you and your work.
Fantastic job. Thanks for bagging it.
I don't know about your other viewers, but I for one would love to see some of the owners reactions after all the mowing and clean up is done. I also think the viewers may like to see some videos of owners unaware that their yard is being mowed and cleaned up, because there family took them on a day trip for a few hours and when they get home the owners will see a new yard. I would LOVE to see reaction of them getting that surprise.
I totally agree but i'm reluctant to do it as the comments are quite brutal and they don't sign up to be ridiculed
@@timthelawnmowerman This is a most true statement indeed, people can be very cruel sometimes. Carry on young man you're doing great work and videos.
@@timthelawnmowerman People, particularly here in USA it seems to me, watch social media for a chance to ridicule, hurt, denigrate, belittle, or just post something negative, often viciously so, with no understanding about the people and situation. You obviously have to be the proverbial duck, and let it run off your back. Your clients would be stunned and lost to you. Best to not even let a face or address be shown, IMO. In short, people are MEAN! May God help me not to be the same, and to love my fellow sojourner in this life!
If I was the homeowner, I would be out on my patio having a protein shake enjoying my beautiful green yard everyday and feeling grateful. You made that yard look brand new. And took some years off the house too. Bless you for that was hard work and well done..
So nice of your client to realize the amount of work you put into this project. And, your mower never ceases to amaze me. For those people that say, how hard can it be to cut grass, they need to watch your videos. I've seen you cut impossible grass on inclines, other yards where you're covered in a cloud of dust, or you get the yards with the type of grass almost impossible to cut. Another great job !
The lawn has been without sunlight at the base ground, so it will look brown. When it grows and receives regular cutting, it will green up! You did a great job on both lawns!
I’ve never seen anyone cut grass as thick as the ones you cut with a push more, then use another mower to go over and pick up the grass. You do an outstanding cut. I love watching your videos. I’m 85 years old and now living in an apartment building. I use to love mowing and weeding and I have learned a few things from you that I now wish I had thought of years ago. Keep doing a great job Tim.
Tim...your sense of humour cracks me up! I was chuckling for ages when you ran out of fuel and put the background of applause when you figured it out! Quite cheered me up :o) Thanks for all you do and are...😄
Considering all the boobytraps in the second yard, you did an excellent job.
The best I could do ✌️ Thanks Susan
*Lmao 😆🤣 at the pulling of the mower and your grunts!! That was totally priceless 👏👏. Then the congratulatory cheers 🍻 when you discovered the mower needed gas!* ⛽ 🤣 🤣
That utility mower is a beast! Great job!
It sure is! Thanks for watching!
Awesome yard transformation as ALWAYS 🥰 God BLESS you for ALL you do for the folks you help out💎🙏💎
That utility mower never ceases to amaze me. Keep up the amazing work.
It's sure gets some punishment. It's going to be getting a rest soon though...
Those Rover mowers use the same blade system as the old Hayter mowers. Very little stops them.
@@ramblingman8992 I never heard of Hayter brand before. Is it an Australian company?
Loved the doggo watching you in the second garden! Great job, Tim!
what about the one at the start? ✌️
@@timthelawnmowerman hahah yes goes without saying the best doggo on all your videos! ❤️
That is a powerful push mower. You do amazing work and it is enjoyable to watch the attention to detail you provide.
I think the fundamental difference between your grass and ours is if ours is that thick, it is usually also damp. And when it's damp its damn near impossible to get through.
Great transformation on both jobs. It was great to see the customers recognized the hard work you put the yards.👌👍💪👏🏼
Thanks mate! Hope you had a good week ✌️
That mower is a beast! The fact that it st through thick, tall growth WITH the mulcher plug in is absolutely incredible. Great work 😄🤗😘👍👍👍
Wow. That was incredibly fibrous grass. That mower is tenacious! Mine would have died in protest. Good on the owner for adjusting the price. I hope you landed a regular client from that.
No, Just a one off and I move on to find the next crazy yard 👌
I hope that, after you get clients' yards back under control, they are motivated to pick up and dispose of all the crap that has been allowed to accumulate!
I have never seen such grass! What a nightmare. 😱 I enjoyed watching your technique. Great job! Watching from US.
Yeah, that definitely wasn't my most enjoyable day
And I was pleased that you went around the second and made a nicer cut and bagged everything! Most guys I see on here usually tend to just go around a few extra times and try to mulch all the clippings into the yard! Kudos to you sir!
It was a nightmare!
They got the bargain of the decade! Your bagless mower is some beast to fight through that grass.
I agree but I got a cool video too 👌
I’ve wondered about the runners we have seen, thanks for explaining where they come from.
no problem ✌️
Now we know why the homeowner didn't mow his lawn.
You earned every $ on this job. Cheers to the owner for upping the pay.
Absolutely! I was shocked!
Tim the Lawn Tamer turning wild lawns into presentable lawns.
Doing your best is all anyone can do and it looks so much better!
Fantastic I certainly enjoy your videos. I can’t wait to watch the next one. You are such a professional kind of person thank God for human beings like you good job keep the videos coming.😊😊😊😊😊
Beautiful job and glad they increased the cost as a lot of work for you. 🇦🇺🤗😊
Your mower is a beast. You tamed it and those yards like a champ. They look really good. 👍
Thanks so much Darla!
This is so amazing what a transformation you work so hard your channel is amazing
Thanks James, I never imagined I’d have a youtube channel but I’m just trying to make it as good as I can. Appreciate you taking the time to watch ✌️
Those mowers must be real heavy duty. Unbelievable grass. Great job 👏
It’s still going strong so far John. Time is the big test.
Keep doing what you love to do...god bless you...your friends from Puerto Rico.
The little black mower u use in the beginning here is a beast! It just plowed right through that grass like it should be 10 times bigger then it is! That thing is awesome 👌 👏 😎 🙌
It sure is!
The great work ethic pays off.
Dont know why i enjoy yard cleaning. Relaxing. You did fine job. Ppl probly want a yard like the Queens Garden but it is wat it is. 👍☺️❤🏡
I relax watching other lawn channels 👌
It amazes me to see all those overgrown patios that no one removes. Are they sick or have they left their homes? If they can't take care of the lawn, have them put tiles and just some pots with some plants that can be cut back from time to time. Sure you have a good job that way, but it never ceases to amaze me.
Greetings from Barelona-Spain.
thanks for watching. There are always different reasons. Keeps me making videos 😊
You are so good cutting grass, with your new good machines, i love your show, i m kinda worried about your trimming backwards , your legs and your back you are so good at it, stay safe, healthy, more blessings to your show, have a blessed 2022
👍🏻 job Tim & that was very thick long grass as we say over in Scotland 🏴. A very professional job as usual 😊
What a super change to the property. Kikuyu is the same the world over, those runners use to give my brother the "creeps" it was a no-no for him. Could also be the soil type. Never mind, as always you do your best, can't do more. I am sure the lawn will recover all over with nice new growth, I just hope they will keep their hand to it, and all will be fine. The mowers fly around like Messcher Schmidt's they are so powerful! those are good investment for the garden work. Enjoyed the video it is always nice to wait for the end result, surprising and satisfying. Take care.
Very good Job Nice Looking!!!
Fantastic work mate, looked like fun :)
Thanks man, It was a big day! Let me know when you want a hand with something, i have a new tool on the way 👌
@@timthelawnmowerman k
As you work, a reminder that is my favorite online mower. Mows through anything you head it at. :) Technique and skill say a lot when working with such difficult stuff. Nice of the clients to team-up. It didn't take two trips. Good you got both back in shape.
Yes it’s a weapon! it was handy doing both but a lot of work. thanks for watching
Love the privacy fence. That’s nice
Helluva challenge, man! Nicely handled, and really, the results look great given the absurdly high growth you had to deal with. Great work!
Thanks Steven, It was a little shock when I got there!
This client saw your fantastic work. Your so detailed and you ckean up so meticulously that I think the client saw this. Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely agree with you Mumzies!!
It would be fun to see their reactions. This yard turned out super good, if I were the owner, I would be tickled.
Timmy. You are a superstar mate, great work legend!
The little mower is beast!
You deserve every bit of money on that one. Im glad they came up with more for you. Great job!!! Stay blessed!!!
Thanks so much!
Like night and day. Nice job!👍🌞
Cheers Herb!
@@timthelawnmowerman - continued good on you Tim!
Great job, love watching you
Wow ! They Pd more than expected...always a nice surprise...you earned it..hope they keep you on as regular customers to keep their yards nice.
Just a one off here ✌️
I am glad that the client give you extra money for your hard labor. That was a tough cut.
That was a really tough day!
After watching a bunch of your videos. You have inspired me to go out & shape & clean my garden even having pneumonia, hernia, prolapsed bowels & a full knee replacement & cancer 6 times nothing stopping me!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼❤️🇨🇦
Look after yourself Maria!
That's great that the client up the amount. That was a tough job, and it looked nice at the end.
Yeah I was well and truly done at the end
You Did a Great Job, Especially with that Little Powerful Mover!!
Thanks Julio! It certainly got a work out!
Love your demeanor Bruh ! again you got balls of steel !
Cheers Ratman
So great to have music to your video, just need the music a bit louder, or the machine noise down a bit. I’ve often watched wishing there was music in the background. Thanks Tim and amazing job yet again 👏👏
Ugggggggggghmmmmmazing!!!! I absolutely 💯 ♥ when you weed eat and find full on patios under the overgrowth 🥰😍😍😍😍 FABULOUS
Great job as always .
Love the channel and humor bro! Awesome job from erie pa
The happiest one to get the yard done is the dog 🐕🤣 from what you started with both those yards look great
Yep I’m sure he was happy!
I feel ya mate, when the tall grass is cut, they tend to be like some sorta paste that make a job really difficult, time consuming and pretty tiring process, like if you gotta bag them in the mower, the mower Rev goes real low that might make you think it's time to empty the bag but whats actually in there is just a bit(sometimes not even half full), all you see is like the green paste.. this is really exhausting
Well done!👍👏
Thank you
It's amazing how when you start using the trimmer that stuff hidden by the grass seems to magically appear! Great job!!
Always!
Dang.. that's tough grass to mow.. you did a great job
HI, you cutting those lawns with that little mower. Good work out. You and your mate Blade Mate. AWSOME
So nice of you to say!
Fantastic job! Looks so much better! 😁
What you are doing is very good it takes care and dedication and love for this type of work
Thank you Agnes!
Try some blades similar to Kavli Finisha blades. They have a tab on the end to catch those runners or bent grass.
Good job Tim
Huge difference from befoe and after. Very satisfying to watch. That "spaghetti gras" seems though to get rid of... Well done job💪
13:55 - I would have started with 2 cows, then added a goat for good measure.
Maybe I’m wasting my time with all this gas equipment 😂
@@timthelawnmowerman See? I'm not the only one who thinks that a goat might be handy :)
@@Lawn_Care 😂😂😂
Sheep get it down to the ground.
Lol🤣😂 love it👍🏻
Ohhh oh the chilling dog oh.. i would like to see the whole world’s dogs enjoying the warmth & as happy as this lucky one.. you’ve made my day.. i can’t watch the badly treated one’s & some countries eating them.. it’s too painful.. i’ll open a veterinarian place one day & provide free service for them for people who can’t afford vets bills
That is very kind of you
I cant believe that someone living in a country with some of the most poisonous snakes in the world would let their yard get like that.SMH
it’s winter, they would all be asleep anyway 😂
@@timthelawnmowerman Winter and you can wear t shirt and shorts and need a cap against snooooo - wait the sun.
I'm dying.
Not to mention the creepy Crawler 🤣🕷🕸
dont worry about the snakes , drop bears are the worry
Very good job indeed enjoyed.
Great job. ❤❤
It looks a whole lot better! Great work Tim.
As good as it could be in one cut anyway 👌
What a thought job this was! But you did an amazing job here by your self. Using that lawn mower seemed to be hard as well. Your young and gave a strong body. Good for you. Thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks so much Olga. This was a big day
SNAKES! Well Done! Geeze, you grow some thick lawns down there!
Yeah this one was pretty bad mate
Looks fantastic!
Thanks Jan!
Turned out great with what was there!
Thanks a lot 🙏🏻
That utility is a weapon. I run an old Big Bob with a GXV160 on it. Yours looks next level. I’d love to see a bit of real time of it for a minute or so. Based on your vids, I think it’s time to retire my old one and pick up the Kohler powered one. Would be keen to compare the two as mine wouldn’t handle that stuff as well as yours. Great machine you have there.
I’ll put something up at some stage 👌
Running out of fuel is one of those things we laugh and point at others, until we do it our selfes :-) edit; I would pick up plastic and such though. It all seems to end up in the sea for some weird reason.
I’m amazed how well that mower picks up the clippings, like a vacuum. Will give it a go next time I mow the lawn.
🙏
Looks good you did a good job.
You tore these lawns up .....Like your work.Like watching you sll the way from CHICAGO ILL. MY NSME IS BIG MIKE.....
They looked great when you finished them!
They would look good with some continued love. thanks for watching!
Nice cut real clean
Wowwww, AMAZING job.👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching Sylvia!
Wow! That's amazing!
It was pretty crazy
PG Tips Such a lot of long grass awful really . You worked your socks off !!!! Looked much better hope the owners thought so too well done Tim 🙏🏻👍👍👍👏👏👏🇬🇧🇬🇧
There was a comment that most mean comments come from the USA that made me feel terriable please don't put me in that catagory as I am from the USA. That was a wonderful compliment to you Tim , wanting to pay you more great job. Proud of you👍😊
Looks awesome!!
It was a wild yard!
Excellent job done 👍
Thanks!
I got exhausted just watching you work so hard. Great job on an impossible yard. Sure glad they paid you what the job was really worth.
That mower is tougher than it looks! the pavement 'reveal' is always awesome to see. You, sir, are very good at what you do.
Thanks Suzanne, I just get it done, definitely not amazing at it but I get it done. Thanks for watching!
As someone from the Kikuyu tribe in Kenya, I am amazed that the name Kikuyu grass is also used in Australia. Who knew! 🤷🏾♀️😀
That is where it comes from isn’t it? I think I read that somewhere. ✌️
