- I think having different canvas prints in your collections helps to diversify what you have to style it with various outfits. Today you will see the trifecta; Monogram, Damier Ebene, and Damier Azur as well as Multicolor, Midnight Fuchsia, Monopaname, and Reverse Monogram. I have the common 3 canvas’ of monogram, damier ebene, and damier azure. I do have a zippy coin purse in the wild at heart print, almost forgot about that one. Surprisingly, I don’t have anything in reverse canvas. I love the Dune print! I’m thinking I may buy the WOC Ivy because I can easily switch out the black strap with one of my Vachetta ones.
That is smart, I love the dune canvas print!!!! I think that is the only bag that you can easily remove the black portion and make it work... I guess you could sell the black strap or use it on other bags!

You should definitely add another Pochette Metis! My absolute favorite. I have the black empreinte and the reverse. I get the most compliments on the black version.

Hi, is black looks better than reverse monogram? Or is it more safe to wear black in public than a monogram one ? Thanks x I like reverse monogram more than black but when buying I am inclining towards reverse monogram. Then I think when world is moving towards no logos that reverse pochette Metis I won’t be able to wear often. I live in london. Thanks x

I have all 3 prints in my collection. However, it’s more between monogram and DE prints that I have more, only owning 2 bags in the DA prints.
I’d like to expand to some other canvas pieces, may have to jump into men’s 😅

yes some Alma BB's have red and some have brown, the current stock have red. I'm not sure why LV decided to switch it in one of the years.
Agree. I prefer all natural leather against the Dune, but in any case matching leather on the bag. I think mismatched leather looks like leftover scraps, like a coat of many colors. Very non luxury.

Hi Shanti, do you think monograms will still be in fashion in coming years ;) what are your thoughts? I really like the look of it, I am new to luxury bags, I got lady dior phone pouch and bvlgari mini bag and really liking reverse monogram pochette metis. I also like Alma bb but I think now I am realising if only one bag I can get from LV, I would prefer to go for pochette metis as my everyday bag. Would love to know what do you thinks Thanks.
Good question! I don't think Monogram will ever go out of style honestly. LV has been around for a long time and will continue to be around. I know that they have tried to push leather a lot. The PM is very different than the Alma BB, I feel like the Alma BB can be used for nighttime as well more so than the PM. The PM is a good everyday bag - if I had to pick one, I would go w/PM first just because I have other small bags I can carry to go out.
@@shantisangit thankyou so much for this. Sometimes you want reconfirmation from the person who knows more than you. I have got my bvlgari bag for night time as it’s beautiful shimmery karung leather, so will look for daytime bag. I really like LV croisette too.
