Out of all the edits I’ve seen, hands down this was the best. In others, sometimes they make the music too loud and you can’t hear what they say. Or it’s the opposite where it’s too quiet and you can’t hear the music. This was perfect. Also in others you hear the background music of the tv show clash with the music in the edit but not once did I hear the clash at all. It was absolutely perfect, you are so gifted. I wish you have done more, would love to see a halbrand/sauron edit 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
"The company I led mutinied against me, my closest friend conspired with the King to exile me… and each of them acted as they did because I believe they could no longer distinguish me from the evil I was fighting." Galadriel
It's hard to find Rings of Power Galadriel videos that aren't dedicated to trashing her. This Galadriel is a worthy adaptation of the flawed but still heroic figure we meet in Unfinished Tales and The Silmarillion, and I'm glad there are people on UA-cam who stand with her. Thank you 😊
Exactly! Tolkien even wrote of her going through an arrogant phase and being Amazonian in the past (literally in the sense of an Amazon warrior, no pun intended). I swear if the haters found out about this, they would either cope by claiming it's fake or even accuse Tolkien of appealing to the crowd (despite being dead for more than fifty years).
Also, their criticism of the actress (Morfydd Clark) is unfair: they mocked her acting style but ignored the subtleties in her performance (I actually liked the subtle facial expressions and displays of emotions in her performance), perfectly portraying a younger, more inexperienced, and naïve Galadriel who has yet to become the wise Lady of Light (a status she is sure to grow into). She herself explained that she often struggles with many issues in her life, such as ADHD and dyslexia, but she still perseveres. Thus, it's remarkable and applaudable that she could still pull off one of the most iconic Tolkien characters. She's not Cate Blanchett, and that's a good thing: her own take on Galadriel should be and is her own thing from Cate's take, but also one that is still complementary and faithful to Tolkien's works. I'm glad these two remarkable women are doing their unique takes on Tolkien's enigmatic, powerful, and beautiful Elven Lady of Light.
3:46 I love this episode, when I watched the series, I took a screenshot of the frame as Galadriel ascends the ship, stood on my desktop windows as wallpaper for a long time
This video is going to hit so hard when stuff goes down in later seasons. Well done. RoP's Galadriel is certainly a Noldo, with all the complexity that brings.
A great video for a great character ! By the way, I absolutely loved your two videos on HOTD ! They are some of my favorites on the show right now. (and all the others on your channel too of course, especially the last one on 1899) I wonder if you would make other HOTD videos but on other characters ? I loved your Aemond video, and I was wondering if you would do other characters? Like, Lucerys Velaryon (who already appeared a lot in your video on Aemond and I admit that Luke is one of my favorites) or Daemon maybe ? I think you could do some great homage to these characters. The one sure Daemyra... he was : 🤩
seeing the "shes trash, they did a bad job" side of this galadriel makes me laugh. if u dont like this adaptation, build a bridge and get over it. lmao
Other then her 8/10 looks they did a pretty horrible job with her. I don’t blame the actress rather the writers. She looks very attractive and like a younger Galadriel
For the use of the sword she was faithful to the Tolkien work but for her character she was not used well a little bit antipathic some times. But the improvement for her character in the last episode give me hope for the next season
@@DJNefarious447 she was described by Tolkien to be like an Amazon, strong like the best male elves and she was general of armies going to war with them so yes the fact that she has the sword at this time and is a chief warrior is absolutely right
Okay? So, do not watch it. Some of us simply enjoy being back in Middle-earth outside of reading the same novels over and over again… Oh, and the novels are still there, you know?? They will always be there! Pick up one up and pay this show no mind. It’s really quite simple stuff. 🤦🏽♂️

@@rrreverb Thanks.

Damn. That's cinematic level editing. This makes the show look better than what it was.

I would say Galadriel is powerful elf, moral and just, she is a being of an ancient world.

This adaptation is extremely goofy and seems more like fanfiction a disappointment at the very least
