She went from facing down all nine of the Nazgul and kicking Sauron's ass all the way to Mordor, and being elegant, mysterious, almost ethereal, to a boring default "warrior class" rpg character with a massively changed backstory and a personality of a snarky teenager (despite the fact that she is already 5,000 years old and elves fully mature within a century). What a fucking joke.
Within a few seconds you can see and feel that she does not have the same magnetic and admiring energy as the real Galadriel (Cate blanchett). She can absolutely not compete with either outside or inside energy so it’s quite obvious that she will fail nevertheless. I saw a few episodes but got bored and especially when she is on screen. I have nothing against her, it’s just that the actress is truthfully overall boring and gives no feelings or make you feel to pay attention on her.
You are completely right. I felt the same way. One of the most boring and one-dimensional characters I have ever witness. And it is GALADRIEL. There must have been others actresses that did a better at the audition you would think🤷
@@Ludd94It’s not the actress. It’s the producers/director. They intentionally chose this for a young Galadriel. I know people change but I wonder how this Galadriel becomes the Galadriel that we see try to banish Sauron; the one that elegantly ,and mysteriously, says, “Let him speak.” when someone Saruman tries to shout down Gandalf……Something extremely traumatic must happen to her between Rings of Power and then. Perhaps she dies and gets sent back a bit transformed like Gandalf did…….

No its not you are depriving yourself from top tier comedy. This is easily one of the funniest shows to ever exist. Its so bad its actually good and I literally cant stop watching because its too funny. And I personally look at it as a parody of lord of the rings and an actual depiction of tolkiens work. Because if we see it as a depiction of tolkiens work. Its complete garbage and needs to be cast into the fires of mount doom
If I remember correctly they were supposed to be even taller on average like 6’8” to well over 7 feet tall. Amazon probably made them smaller so they could let Galadriel girlboss all over them better
Was habt ihr alle gegen Galadriel? Ich find sie gut gemacht und mag auch diese neue Seite an ihr. Auch sehr gutes Schauspiel talent von Seiten Morfydds
@@dctrbrass no that's not true. Everyone loved eowyn and id you read the silmarillion everyone loved Luthien, Haleth, Melian, Aredhel, and so maby more strong females. Got to love people calling her a "Mary Sue" (proving once more that this term basically means nothing anymore and has been reduced to some basic misogynistic insult for any powerful female character) when the whole thing of a Mary Sue is that they're unbeatable and perfect... when this character gets not only tempted by the darkness she's fighting on a couple of occasions... but one of the most important things of her journey is that she fails HARD. Personally, it took me a little bit of time to get used to the character and the show itself but overall, yeah I like her and I like the show. Also people who only watched like one episode and are now watching these out of context and very much edited clips (this kind of feels like a YTP at times, don't know if this is intentional), yeah, you got no say in the matter.
No, she is a Mary Sue. She beat everyone and everything EFFORTLESSLY she threw five numenorian guards into jail EFFORTLESSLY ( don't forget how well trained numenorians were and how much brute strength they had) she took down a whole cave troll or whatever that was EFFORTLESSLY by herself with out a scratch on her she was able to fight off all those trainees effortlessly in numenor without getting scratched. There were so many opportunities for them to stab her but noooo bc she's sooooo cool. She swam across a whole OCEAN effortlessly and she was just a little thirsty that's all, she survived the volcanic eruption without more than a scratch on her!!!! And most of all, THAT ISN'T HOW GALADRIEL WAS IN THE FREAKING FIRST PLACE 👏👏
Didn’t she single handedly kill an ice troll when it took the whole fellowship (9 people) to bring down one cave troll in Lord of the Rings. Just trash writing. Galadriel was never a physical warrior.
Mary Sue or not, she's still a terrible character (coming from a woman who loves challenging male and female stereotypes but nothing can change the fact that the character is badly written and the acting is abysmal).
omg I feel bad for Elrond.
If this is the best of her, can't imagine how bad she can be at her worst.

Hahaha, that cut where Celeborn turns to look at her, after the RoP imposter suggests that he is dead

Yes, two dimensions.

Thanks for giving me an aneurysm one more time...
if they had listened to Galadriel, it would have been called The Sword of Power and the Lord of the Swords
Great video!! I loved it!! Galadriel is amazing.
That is some top-notch cringe. Amazon’s Galadriel is a one-dimensional, narcissistic, insufferable Mary Sue. Zero stars given. ⭕️
Celeborn is the one to give her the name Galadriel. Her birth name's Artanis Nerwende.
A fantastic video.
I like her move fighting skill is extremely good
Aren’t the soldiers of Numenor supposed to be on average 6ft 4 inches tall. Why do I see most of them being around 5’ 8”.

@@anonymousprime1738 very true. Amazon not only destroyed the Numenoreans but also one of my favorite elves Galadriel. Such a shame😢😢😢😢

I love how trilogy Galadriel and Celeborn suddenly appear in the middle and look like 'Meh'. RoP Galadriel is disgusting character 😬
So freaking funny
Or sad
Yeah how come she didnt do that whole obliterating light thing more? That would have come in real handy in the final battle.

My favorite part was when she got in the Delorean and went back to the future and said, "For Riverdale!"
So brave and stunnig!

Cultural conditioning is my guess. :) Men and women are supposed to be a certain way. If it's different, people lose their minds.
