My only small advise is , if you plan on helping people learn these moves who havent wrestled at a high level. Then you should show the pivot and the steps.
You didnt explain a proper pivot. Or specially show how a pivot would look on it's own.
As a boxing coach would etc
As a former wrestler I understand how to do this but when I showed a bjj practitioner this he had no idea how to pivot for the angle

Pretty much takedowns always have a risk of getting kneed I think
If you pivot and have the angle how is someone going to knee you?
But set.ups work differently in mma. You would never really see a clinch like that in mma because the easy kne if you lean that foward into a opponent in mma
But masvidal did something simialr to Darren til in the 2nd round
It's almost impossible to knee or get knee'd if you pull their weight down right before going for the ankle pick
