Will never understand why people call Joyner corny, I love this shit. Also, the guitar getting louder and louder while Rotimi got more angry was such a nice touch
Corny? First time I've heard of this.. but switching up his music (become industry puppet) yes with those Young Boy NBA and Future tracks which is very distasteful as a Joyner fan.
Scru face jean borderline says that he loves the future, young boy etc stuff lately. He act like his early stuff was so so. I have found some very low view reaction channels saying he was wack. Like you I don’t understand them.
@@NasXShadyHe starts with the video idea then writes the lyrics to fit. That's how he also did I'm not racist. He didn't have a song that needed a video, he convinced the video then created the song around it.
I dont think Joyner ever heard the part where he swithced up, its what the friend really thought, but all joyner saw was what happened before and after the scene changed, pointing more towards the fact that people like him never reveal themselves, and will clink glasses with you despite what they feel under the surface
8:35 Well said, many don't know that Jealousy and Envy are not the same. Envy is a form of resentment because some longs for what some else has, it's an inherently negative thing. Jealousy can be harmless and sometimes even helpful, spurring things like rivalry, like it can be someone seeking to be as good as another, not wanting what they have and being upset because of it.
I actually think the blue background when he was talking about how he really feels is what's going on inside of his friends head. Basically it's how he actually feels, but Joyner doesn't know that, which is why it switched back to the toast and the embrace.
First time watching you two...Vibe Villa. Best reaction to this song and video, hands down. The breakdown, nuances, insights you brought to the video were superb. Joyner story-telling was a masterpiece. You've won a fan....Great job young men
Notice how Joyner gave his friend his seat at the head of the table and the man took it with a smile before the camera pushed in to show his true intentions? Bro doesn't want the seat. He wants what the seat represents, because in case you didn't notice, the seat at the end is the same seat from the beginning of the video. In the end, it don't matter which head of the table he sits at, because whichever head it is, it ain't where Joyner's sat.
I wasn’t really a fan of Joyner before (I always knew he was a great lyricist because I’ve heard his music before) but with this song and video, I appreciate his music so much more. Now I’ve been binge watching his music videos all damn day lol. Y’all had the best reaction to this song
I've had a real experience like this with somebody I knew since childhood. To convey it this well is crazy. My favorite part was the distortion of the guitar increasing throughout the song. The gradual increase in volume and distortion spoke volumes. Great reaction gents 👏🏼
He’s giving a toast to a friend even way you look at the scene towards the end. I wonder if anyone else came to the same conclusion. It’s crazy how many layers there are in this video and/ or song. Joyner’s top 5 in the new age of hip hop for me easily
I appreciate these dudes work so much. Immaculate breakdowns that never cease to amaze me. With how much they catch on first listens, you can tell how intelligent and cultured their perspectives are. Not to mention they chemistry 🔥. Been a long time fan so gotta gush a little, bring back car reactions 🙏
wonderful reaction!! i've seen a few reactions to this and it never fails...yalls reactions always takes the song to a new level no matter how good the song is. :) God bless you both!!
The transition from gun to wine glass reminds me of Michael Jackson's Thriller video when it switched from the zombies to being in her apartment. With the subtle reminder that the danger is still there.
It’s crazy because my perspective is like he’s celebrating him and showing love but when it switches he could be just showing u what he was really thinking but didn’t do it…that’s why Joyner embraced him at the end but like prince said Joyner top 3 with conceptual rap
What makes everything crazier is that Joyner's actual mom was at the table and i KNOW she was looking at mans act like "This is actually getting too real" cause he was ACTINGGGG
what if instead of it being Rotimi actually saying all the negative parts, this was Joyner reading between the lines and having an internal monologue based on the what he said earlier in the toast. But at the end, Joyner doesn't react because he doesn't know for sure if that's how he really feels or is it just his paranoia for being rich. And Rotimi's face at the end is confirmation for Joyner's thoughts.
ME TALKIN TO VIBEVILLA "IM SO Proud of your success Bro ski's Me in my heart YALL AINT NO BUT SLACKERS YALL CLOWNS YALL WHACK AND YEAH U CAN REACT BUT YOU AINT IN THE CLUTCH U AINT LAW TWINZ U AINT SHAQ LMAO I LOVE U GUYS MAN YALL THE GOATS RIGHT NOW
Yeahhh , Joyner didn’t see that , it’s the friends INNER THOUGHTS during the good speech it’s showing how he really feels on the inside , but on the outside he’s being fake to Joyner. So Joyner doesn’t know how that friend really feels
I think when the video turns blue and nobody else is in the room is what Joyner really thinks his "Broski: is saying to him because when you make it you are gonna have these type of people that you call your day ones that really were just a leach knowing greatness was coming.
I loved this first time i saw it and knew how it made me feel and think but i didnt focus on the gun to the glass as much as now when you made that comment. The directing you picked up on is dope. Especially given that the lyric before that is him anticipating celebrating Joyner's downfall. Aint that just like life, man? Somebody holding up a glass like they toasting ur success all the while thinking "I cant wait to see you fall, matter of fact i feel to finish you off myself right now" cuz of the hate in their heart.
I have been waiting for you 2 young kings I think it was how Rotimi was feeling Its what he wanted to say this is what has been on his heart that is why it changed to just those 2 at the table I think this is how Rotimi was feeling not Joyner
I could be wrong but hear me out..I feel like this song was about Joyner's homie that was in his Backwards video before his fame and Joyner & Chris Brown- I Don't Die video when his fame hit. He used to make cameos in most of Joyner's videos and we don't see much of him anymore.
Love these two and their reviews... BUT (just like the video, here's the switch up) the pause.. sssssssss OMG I would love to see 2 a piece. No matter what 🤦🏾♂️nothing more lol 😂
Good reaction but not convinced it’s the first time listening reactions. Your analysis gave you out like when your rapped along when he said “you aint Cole you ain’t not Drake” haha… You guys are doing great, keep it up

Made me appreciate the song more
This is the bag Joyner needs to stay in, his storytelling ability is superb.
I wouldn't mind if he just rapped a lullaby for how good his ability is
He's very talented in that aspect fr
top 3 imo
Fr, I think he’s the best storyteller of his generation

Great explanation
Joyner is probably one of the GOATS. He has so much talent it is unreal.
its truly a thin line between love and hate... keep your head up, mouth closed, eyes open
FACTS
I actually think the blue background when he was talking about how he really feels is what's going on inside of his friends head. Basically it's how he actually feels, but Joyner doesn't know that, which is why it switched back to the toast and the embrace.
i was thinking this too, its like a perspective from the other dude's head
Same. A successful artist’s struggle with balancing trust vs paranoia.

“Where did the 5 minutes go?!” I said the same thing, this masterpiece had me so engaged it was like everything around me stopped
This was 100% the best reaction to this video! Dope reaction!
As usual, the best reaction and breakdown I've seen of this.
I think that part when the vid changes into the dark room are the real thoughts that are in Broski’s head.
You two got yourselves a new subscriber man, Great reaction from both of y'all, Kudos to you and Joyner, Keep it coming 🤙🏼❤️
Joyner said he's been pitching this song as a pilot to a show he wants to produce. Said he been sitting on it for 1 year.
Joyner is a Legend ❤

Rotimi had to channel Andre Coleman for this one😂😂😂
Great breakdown and music video is a masterpiece
Does anyone know the name of the singer at the start and end? Voice stuck on my head on repeat
Rotimi. Dre from power
Joyner is the best story teller in the whole game. There is a reason Eminem is following his journey
This is a very astute breakdown for a first time watch, impressive guys.
Keep up the good work guys! Best reaction channel out there
I have been waiting for you 2 young kings I think it was how Rotimi was feeling Its what he wanted to say this is what has been on his heart that is why it changed to just those 2 at the table I think this is how Rotimi was feeling not Joyner
