I only want a rerelease of the Awakening version. It's always just base Shin release with new paint, maybe the different tail on the 'frozen' version. I just want the Purple...

Eventually I hope Hiya makes him cause for a good cheap price, we'll get a whole lot of versions.
I missed the first three or four versions of shin Godzilla, but was lucky to get the night combat version. I’m very happy with it and have no intention of getting the minus color version.

I'm such a huge Shin Godzilla fan, but I'm not sure if I'm going to go for a greyscale figure, part of the appeal of Shin for me is that stunning purple form or the vivid red.
I'm definitely getting the MMS Shin Godzilla for sure.
Yeah... Black and white Shin kinda' misses the point with how beautiful the colour is in that movie 🤔
I screwed up by waiting to long to get the last shin Godzilla and I was waay to young to get the other versions when they first came out but thank goodness I have a new chance on getting one 🙏
Yay another shin godzilla ;we have zero impact on thier releases tamashii nations does what they want,what I don't understand is how is every monsterarts released in the last 3 years is 150+ but you can still pick up monsterarts 1954 for only 80-90$??

As someone who loves shin and for some reason has no merchandise of him, this is a must buy
First time viewer and all I gotta say this was very informative. I sadly won’t be partaking in the ortho shin figure simply because I was holding out for a second release of the awakening one but ended up getting the night version that came out last year. If it came with anything I’d be tempted but at the price point for only a simple color change I just can’t justify getting another shin and hope any future releases with be better.
I fell if you want it go ahead but most of the people who will get it are people without a shin figure or they have the ortho movie so it looks cool next to it
i'm actually looking forward to this since i was planning on costumizing one of these at some point in the future, that and i just really like shin godzilla lol

I will only get this figure if it has minor or no QC issues, if not I’ll get him because I missed out on all the other shin’s and I really want a highly articulated shin figure. I’ll make my purchase decision when reviews come

Well I have every SHMA figure to date save for KG '91 SCV and the original Destroyah....so yes, i'll get this guy too. I love all the Shin variants with Awakening being my favorite. Still, it would have been cool to repaint the Awakening in this greyscale...man, that would have looked beautiful with translucent while spines.

I don’t know if anyone will really care about my input but:
As someone who never got their hands on any of the previous MonsterArts ShinGojis, I am thrilled about this release! I’ve been dying to get this figure in any shape or form since the Awakening version. The previous ones on the second-hand market are far too expensive for me to get, even on Japanese marketplaces.
Although I am a bit bummed I won’t be able to get my hands on a proper red Shin (for the moment, at least), I think the colour scheme of this figure looks cool; and I’m excited for it! (as long as it doesn’t cost my limb)

I'd love a Monsterarts Shin Godzilla (especially that brown colorless one) but from what I read, they have alot of quality control issues that makes me want to wait on Hiya.
I want a fully articulated Shin Godzilla as I only have Neca but I've been afraid of spending money on a SHMA Shin Godzilla.
I was wondering where all the videos about this announcement where! Haha 😄 I though people would be all over this. If they apply the new tail articulation techniques here this could be a stand out release. Hope those who missed out, and wanted a Shin can get ahold of this one. Not for me though. God speed.
I just literally bought Shin Godzilla Fourth Night Combat ver. yesterday, then this Ortho-thingy got announced HAHAHA!
At first I thought, "I should get it" but nah I won't now BECAUSE the purpose I bought a $140 figure is for stop motions. This Ortho Shin Godzilla would work for B&W photography or B&W stop motion, so either way, it's a win-win!
It always depends on the customer's needs. I am happy for those who can buy a Shin Godzilla now if they missed the beautiful Fourth Night Combat ver.!

Like I said before im not really a big MonsterArts collector and even if I was I still probably wouldn't get this anyway (id probably would have gotten the night time version of Shin Godzilla instead). Im more so disappointed with the Movie Monster Series for only announcing the black and white versions of Shin Godzilla figures during the Osaka Godzilla Fest. No joke I watched almost the whole stream thinking that they would show some up coming new figures like they did in the past and all we got was some repaints of old figures lol. 😑⬛🦖⬜🤦
(1:59) Honestly I never even heard of "SHIN GODZILLA:ORTHOchromatic" until a few weeks ago. Heck I don't even think some of the bigger know Godzilla UA-camrs that I know of or watch regular really talked about it (and if they did then I must have missed it or have completely forgotten about it). This does make me wonder though, between this and "Minus Color" those this mean that Toho is going to start re-releasing all their old movies in black and white now lol. 😏📽🔲📺😄
