Great video, mate! :D Seriously love the Qantas A380. I'm a bit biased though, as my GF is a QF flight attendant (on their 737's), but still.. so pretty! Subbed!
hello mike, how are you ? actually i live in Gladstone Park near Mickleham rd . always i go to watch airplanes at runway 16 where the ice cream vans stop in small park north the airport beside sunbury rd , but i have been in the golf course in Keilor Park before several times thank you.
hey thanks i'm good. I preferred Centre Road by the golf course near the control tower as you could see planes actually land and take off rather than just approach. :-) Happy spotting.
mikeycbd Hi Mike, I got into plane spotting recently and want to better spot then the carpark at sunbury rd is this spot you talking about accessible to everyone? is this on Operation rd? im trying to to locate it on google map
xtrunggax Hi, if you head for the control tower you will be heading for the spot. There was a lot of building going on last time i was there but i'm sure they won't get rid of the golf course. If you go down South Centre Road and head on to Operations Road and you will go past Qantas billing on the right (60 km road) then it goes up to 80, the golf course is on the left and then a look out further up on the left hand side right by the tower. Here is the URL for the map. www.google.com.au/maps/place/S+Centre+Rd,+Melbourne+Airport+VIC/@-37.6906087,144.8513517,17z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x6ad6596e8e3a301d:0x135a9b22c195a53e
Thanks for the comment, can't wait for my next trip but i think every 18 months is enough for me... too long in the air travelling and not enough time on the ground.
hey you didn't read the description did you? Referring to something Qantas did in 2012. "The campaign will see the airline change its tag line from the ‘Spirit of Australia’ to the ‘Spirit of Australians‘ and encourage the public to get involved by inviting them to have their photo featured in a TVC or their name printed on a plane."
Thank you, i saw on the TV this morning the 747.
You'll really enjoy it i'm sure. Have a great trip.
Nice work, man! i should get back to LAX sometime and get a few of these....
Im going on this flight in December :) my first international flight and all by myself. Great video as always Mikey.
nice video mike, I'll be going on that A380 in September 2013
I live in Chicago, used to live in LA before I started trying my hand at filming. Mostly because there is not a lot of filming done at ORD.
Hey cheers for the message, have a good trip! Where you going?
Cool! And looking at your reply to someone's comment, what soil are they clearing at YMML?

Just looking at your more recent videos, did you quit plane spotting?
Sheep work as FA's? xxx
Welcome to the world of aviation. ;-)
Yes I did use my new camera and my tripod. Thanks for the comment.

I live close to Melbourne airport !!
nice, any development by the golf course?
at 2:53 you will see dirt and then a tractor so they are doing something.
Thanks, I can't wait for them to move the tractor and clean up the soil so I can get a better view. :-)
It’s actually spirit of Australia, not Australians
